I don’t go to Chipotle all that often these days but when I do I typically order the tacos because it’s not as heavy with rice or beans like the burritos are. Today I stopped into the location on West Broadway in downtown San Diego for lunch. The restaurant was busy but the staff were moving customers through the line quickly. I ordered Barbacoa Tacos and they were delicious. The Barbacoa was fresh and hot and the tortillas were warmed and soft. Thoroughly enjoyed them.

I was here Wednesday evening 1-10-24 (7:50-8:20 PM). The food and service were good but the atmosphere was a mess which made it more difficult to enjoy the food.This was not an issue of being a break time for workers as almost every table was messy and every garbage can was overflowing. It looked like it had been like that for quite some time.

I come here as a treat after depositing my pay check at Chase every two weeks. It never gets old! If you only want a little I suggest the kids meal. Two tacos with chicken or beef plus choice of rice and grilled veggies. Comes with chips or orange and juice or small soda. All for just $6.05!
