We had a great time at La Puerta! The atmosphere is bar-like. The music is slightly louder than most places, but you can still chat. The food was good. A margarita was had as well and that was tasty too. Go, you'll enjoy yourself if you like what I described.Parking: You'll have to drive around.
Service was a 6/5. We went Friday evening no reservation with sleepy kiddo and the hostess sat us at a large booth so he could nap. Guacamole was good. The salsa verde is incredible. I got the carnitas burrito and smothered it in salsa verde and my wife got the 3 taco special. Our hometown has absolutely amazing Mexican food so this was good but didn’t blow our socks off. They have great cocktails and a fun late night ambiance.

This place felt like an oasis with the greenery, high ceilings, and open concept. The pancakes and carnitas sounded interesting, looked better, and exceeded all of my expectations. The portion is huge, so don't expect to finish and just ask for a take-out box.
