Ponce's Mexican Restaurant there is absolutely nothing. nothing HAPPY about Memorial Day. Can you be any more insensitive to the families who lost loved ones in combat?
First time there, first time in San Diego. Was told about this place from a local. Glad we asked, delicious food and atmosphere. Definitely will be on our to do list when we return.
The food is delicious and the drinks are awesome.

Based on the reviews, Ponce's Mexican Restaurant is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant and the best Mexican food in San Diego. The food is delicious, excellent, and unbeatable, with flavorful and spicy Carnitas and Salsa Fresca. The tacos are full size, and the portions and abundance of options are amazing. The happy hour is from 2 to 5 pm. The staff is super friendly, kind, and helpful, providing 5-star service. The restaurant also caters events, with staff arriving promptly, setting up everything, and leaving the area cleaner than they found it. The food was hot and perfect, and the drinks were constant. The atmosphere is great.
