“Hey guys i forget say, we never no waiting for long time, we when and get in, seat and our server was there ready for all, I order, calamari, (entrées) garlic bread, salad, soup, I order salmon was perfect size with vegetables, my favorite eat a soup, my husband order shrimp pasta, Mouhamed S, was great and give us good attention.. “Been on the prowl for a new spot for a good breakfast burrito in our new area. It's been more miss than hit with some places charging way too much. Decided to give Taqueria Poncitlan a try and OMG it was amazing and far better than our previous regular place.

I opted for the chorizo, beans, and egg burrito for $10.99 but added avocado, tomatoes, and cheese bringing it to around $14...and still cheaper than some of the $16+ price at other spots.

This thing was huge!! They gave me the green and red salsa which were both great. I would get it with pico de gallo next time instead of tomatoes. Flavor, texture, and freshness was exceptional. Plenty of seating with friendly staff with a casual setting and a TV. Finally found our go-to spot for breakfast burritos!! Woohoo!!“

“Location: Diamond Bar Blvd, inside a quiet strip mall plaza (plenty of parking). South of Temple Ave and North of the 60 freeway off of diamond bar blvd exit.

Seating: Around 8-9 tables, good for small groups or solo diners.

‍ Service: Only one staff member working when I went, but she was friendly and attentive.

Hotpot Style: a little different from the other solo pot restaurant. Each person gets their own pot. You choose your meats & ingredients, then cook them yourself--no overcooked food, no broth boiling over. I liked this style a lot.

Overall: Chill weekday vibe, quiet atmosphere ( not sure if its a slow time or the area is naturally quiet) , and a solid 3.5-4 experience. Great spot if you enjoy solo hotpot without the rush.“

“First time there and both my husband and I love it. We had a cold roast beef sandwich and their Charlie special and they were delicious. Bread was so good. “No wait time Sunday lunch before noon. It was pretty good. Need to have a little spicy so that the soup and food would be flavorful. Your typical ma la tang hot pot dining. My mom likes it and we'll be back soon. Soup did get more salty though as it keeps cooking. Not sure if there was rice or not.“

“Today I came here for dinner, it’s a Thursday night -and I ordered:shrimp tempura, catfish stir fry, white rice, and a glass of wine. Everything was delicious!!!

The owner, “lady Aey” helped me with part of my order and she asked if I’d been to Thailand because I liked spicy and asked for the fish sauce- I think I was sounding very sure of what I wanted :) I told her that coincidentally, I was going to Thailand this summer. We exchanged what’s apps and she said she’d help me to plan a great trip.

It did feel like family- she called herself Thai lady Aey, and I am black lady Renee- I’m part of the family now- thanks Thai Family :)“

“I recently dined at Sun Nong Dan on a Sunday for lunch. Although it was quite busy, there was no wait time at 1:30! The koh galbi jjim with cheese was absolutely delicious - savory and flavorful. We had a large group and were worried about the serving size not being enough, but ended up having way more than enough food, which is definitely a good problem to have. Our server, YH, was super attentive and helped us navigate the menu, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend Sun Nong Dan for great food and service!“

“The food and atmosphere here are A+++. Everything our table ordered was incredible. The cafe de olla was perfect, not too sweet and right temperature. They have vegetarian options, including quesadillas de huitlacoche! They also have really great agua fresca options, including mango with chia and mango chile limón. You have to try to the queso fresco too with their house salsa. I was cheering with every bite. Can't wait to come back.“

“Excellent time! Ordered the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini w/ extra, extra cheese and the Chocolate Lasagna for dessert. The Calabrian crème sauce was spicy, but not overpowering. The dessert was scrumptious! Sarah, our waitress, checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Especially the request for extra, extra cheese lol. Thank you Sarah and Olive Garden for a beautiful and delicious evening!“
