“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Reasonably priced, good portions. I had the 10pc sushi roll plate, and upgraded to steamed veggies, but they came litly steamed, closer to raw than cooked. Edamame was good (hard to not make that peoperly).

My friend had the bento box w/chicken teriyaki. Salad dressing comes in 1oz to go containers, despite us dining in restaurant.

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“You really can't make a bad choice with any dish you select here. We tried the House Special, and the spring rolls are absolutely essential. My son is a big fan of the Ban Mi with grilled pork, and we also enjoyed the charbroiled pork vermicelli with egg rolls. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Just know that the shop’s location in San Dimas is located not in an obvious place, but trust me … their ice cream is out of this world!! My advice? Give the store a call before heading over as the store has very limited hours, so as not to get disappointed.“

“Palermo Bakery has everything you need to feel like you are in Italy! From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. “This is the 2nd Location so the Best Location is in Chino.. We moved to SG so San Dimas is closer but it was a bit of a disappointment.. The wontons were small, burnt nd had almost no filling.. Chino's are big, hot soft nd crunchy at the same time.. The portions given are good but Chino's gives you leftovers lol.. The Orange Chicken is always a Must!! Luv this restaurant..

“I really love eating at this store because when you dine in, you can have as much sauce as you want. And I love their sauces. I saw someone review for being stingy with their sauce. I didn't understand it. But I was thinking may be it was for "to go". I never order had "to go" here so I don't know. But for dine in, I come here all the time and it is great.“

“I have been coming here for several years. The owner is nice lady who did all her own cooking and the food was super and authentic. Now she has taken the food to new level. Amazing menu with a fantastic chef/owner. She also has hired a superb waiter named Lucky. “We have been eating here for the last couple of years, and we love it. The food is nice and fresh. Prices are not expensive. I mainly go for sashimi, yellowtail! The place is well serviced and always clean. On weekends, it gets packed. My reccomendation, go on their yelp several minutes in advance, make the reservation, and this will save you time. Its cool and fun spot to celebrate a birthday. I will continue to come back to this spot!“
