“Got breakfast here everyday I stayed in SF — if you get there right after 8:30 AM that’s when they start bringing out the fresh pastries. Get the egg tart and coconut bun. Coconut bun is out of this world and the egg tart is super flaky and buttery. Getting there early is a must because the bakery items are still warm!“

“I love this place. This is my second time eating at this cafe. I got the beef empanada and peanut butter Acai. The drip over coffee was strong (which is what I was looking for). There are many other things I hope to try on the menu in the future.“

“It was among the first place in the quarter to offer a decent vegan breakfast a few years ago and I would recommend the vegan plate there. The staff is kind and nice and the only downer is the pricing to me. Size are okay, but cost a bit too much for what you have.“

“Went here for the bottomless brunch ($22 for bottomless per person). The drinks were good and the food was good too (at least 3 vegan options — 10/10 RECOMMEND THE VEGAN FRENH TOAST!). Service was good initially but they became stingy and didnt even fill the carafe at the end. Overall good experience. They auto gratuity 20% and we tipped on top of that but something to keep in mind. The place itself is relatively small and quite busy so definitely recommend getting a reservation“

“Good for a quick bite. I like the local feel of the place but it can get very crowded, especially on the weekends so I'm glad for the outdoor tables. I like to stop by when I'm going to hang out near Ocean Beach. The food is tasty!“

“Happened upon this space while on a puzzle hunt-walkabout thing. The breakfast sandwiches are killer, they have SO MANY kinds of Haribo gummy candy, and the folks are sweet as can be. There was not much room to sit as they were doing a little renovation work when we were there, but I’ll say it again, awesome breakfast sandwich!“

““Wow! Just had an amazing meal at the new 16th Street Diner. The omelette was fluffy and packed with flavor, and the chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy. The service was top-notch, and the overall vibe of the place was super positive. So glad I tried this new spot – I’ll definitely be back!”“

“We ordered 50, pre-wrapped breakfast tacos for our daughter's birthday and Early Bird DELIVERED! They were precisely on time, considered our special instructions to give more of a few varieties than others, and were very communicative and lovely throughout the whole experience. Our guests (including several 3-5 yr. olds) LOVED them! 10/10 would recommend.“

“I give this place the top spot as the best 💎in San Francisco for delicious food, drinks, friendly and sociable staff, great atmosphere, and music. There's a wide selection of dishes! The lentil soup is a bit spicy for my taste, so keep that in mind if you're ordering for kids!☝️“

“We had a simple yet tasty breakfast here. The coffee was great, the place was hopping and the weather was perfect for outdoor eating. It's cafeteria style: you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The whole staff was very cool, even as they were working hard to service the big crowd. It was just what we wanted at the time. A quick hot meal and a good cup of joe reasonably priced and served with a smile. Thanks Caffe Central! We'll be back.“

“I ordered the Drunken Noodle beef & Shrimp pad Thai
Drunken Noodle Beef is a solid 100/10
Just amazing. Best beef noddles I’ve had in a minute
Savory, delicious , amazing
, and looks great
Shrimp pad Thai is a solid 2/10
All u can taste is just spice not heat spice but just spice. And shrimp was like shredded chicken and like over done to the Max.
This place deserves 5 stars for the beef noodle alone.
I had a couple bites then had to share sorry.“

“The Horchata French toast was amazing, delicious and filling. Nice big portion with not your average sized toast! The French toast was soft and light with fresh fruit. The banana iced latte was creamy and refreshing. Service was good and atmosphere was ok. Be aware of the 3% credit card surcharge which brought my total to $33.86 with a tip for French toast and a latte!“

“Cafe Isabella's delicious food (they serve my favorite San Francisco burrito), and overall appealing aesthetic design reflect the fine tastes of its owner, Hilda. And, I happily note that Cafe Isabella strictly adheres to COVID-19 mitigation best practices.“

“We’ve worked with Ruru Kitchen on several large catering orders for our office, and they’ve been an absolute dream to work with. The team is responsive, organized, and always on time. They make the entire process incredibly easy - from helping us plan a thoughtful, delicious menu that accommodates all dietary needs, to setting everything up beautifully on the day. Our employees always rave about the food, they are a huge hit every time. The personal touches really shine through, and they always work with us to stay within our budget. I’m so grateful for their partnership and can’t wait to work with them again for our next event!“

“This is a friendly neighborhood breakfast place, the food is good, the service is good, sometimes they are busy, but thanks for still maintaining tableside service instead of QR CODE, they are animal friendly and even provide water for the dogs, Kind and warm restaurant, will go back again“

“Small latin eatery between 23rd and 24th Mission street. Metered parking or hourly parking in nearby neighborhood. Very casual and friendly environment and staff. Freshly made food and freshly squeezed orange juice! I ordered the "Central American Special". It had fried plantains(sweet tasting flavor), fried cheese, eggs, toast, rice and beans and Bacon. The dish itself tasted great all around, would recommend. I also ordered a side of Garlic bread (did not have any taste of garlic this time though).“

“I’ve been coming here for years. 30 Ordered my usual burrito I am so sad to say This is the third time this has happened And have heard others complain lately too But the portion of meat given to me was so hard and dry I couldn’t eat it The food was barely warm Not sure if cook had a bad day or what And the price just since I last ordered went up Another $3 I’m so disappointed I never see bad reviews But sorry amigos This was not good“

“You won't go hungry with the breakfast plate servings! I had Huevos Rancheros for breakfast. I don't know how they can afford to sell these lumberjack portions for so cheap. My dish came with three eggs almost a whole avocado, the beans, potatoes, tortillas and a heaping pile of bacon! My Husbands meat lover platter was just as a large a portion and he barely finished it all so he had no room to finish my plate as his usual.“

“Came here early morning on a whim because some friends were leaving from visiting me. Was one of the only places open relatively early in SF, but absolutely surprised me. I believe I ordered the eggs benedict but what was really the star of the show was the thin potato hashbrowns. So good and so flavorful. The fresh orange juice was also delish. Don't remember her name but the woman (maybe the owner?) was also super friendly and sweet. Absolutely going back.“

“After a visit to the De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park we were seeking a casual lunch spot. We drove the short distance to Velo Rouge Care close by, just a block off Fulton Street (on McCallister Street). We entered the small-ish shop and read the menu (on the wall). There are painting and pictures of bicycles throughout the cafe. - other patrons were there enjoying a hot beverage or a bite to eat.
My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict - traditional but with Acadaco, served with house potatoes (or a green salad). I went with the Coppi Turkey Sandwich. In a short period of time the server brought the food to us as we sat on a bar facing the street. My sandwich was tasty - Turkey with Jack Cheese, Cranberry Sauce and Spinach. It was served with a substantial side salad (which was enough for a meal, honestly). Both of us enjoyed our meal and said we would definitely return here. Prices were reasonable for The City and its location is close enough to Golden Gate Park. We did find parking just across from the Cafe on McCallister. They’re open for breakfast and lunch only (closing at 2 or 3PM).“

“Dude, this place is awesome. Reviewers offering less than 4* are just grumpy and sour curmudgeons! The lady behind the counter always knows who I am - sees me walk in and immediately starts my coffee order. She’s an absolute saint. Food is delicious.“

“tl;dr: Hearty, classic diner brunch with a corned beef hash Benedict worth daydreaming about. Service can lag when it's busy, and the restrooms need some TLC, but the vintage charm and flavor-packed plates make it a satisfying stop for a leisurely weekend morning.
If you are craving a no-frills American diner breakfast elevated just enough to make it memorable, Pork Store Cafe delivers. The corned beef hash Benedict is a flavor bomb with perfectly poached eggs over savory, crispy-edged hash, smothered in rich hollandaise. Portions are generous without being overwhelming. Service is warm but slow, especially when the place is buzzing, so this is better for a relaxed morning than a quick bite. Atmosphere is pure diner nostalgia with vinyl booths, laminated menus, and the comforting clatter from the kitchen. The restrooms could be cleaner and more accessible, but overall, it is a fun and delicious brunch spot for those who appreciate a classic American breakfast experience.“
