“#AmazingBar #HiTopsSanFrancisco 🥰“
“It was just the sort of down to earth place I had been looking for. They have an assortment of domestic bottled beer for $5, as well as liquor, etc. Met several nice and friendly people the first time I was there, and I was only there an hour or so.“
“I had a great time and the Bar Staff was fun and friendly. The best part is that it turned into a BLAST of dance party thanks to the DJ!“

“Twin Peaks Bar at the Castro is a must-visit! The drinks are strong and absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is unmatched—cozy, vibrant, and full of character. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink and snap some great photos. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable experience!“
“What an eclectic spot. Hole in the Wall Saloon is exactly what you hope it will be: neon signs buzzing, the jukebox always has something good, and the people-watching is elite. Saturday happy hour? $2 beers that actually taste cold, not flat, and you’ll find yourself staying for “just one more” before you realize it’s dark out.
If you like places that aren’t trying too hard, where you can grab a cheap drink, play a round of pool, and chat with folks who aren’t in a rush, this is your place. Cash only, but the ATM is right there. Go. Have fun. Don’t expect fancy, expect a good time.“

“A fun experience and great staff. I rarely drink alcohol and there are plenty of non-alcoholic beverages the staff serves. The food is always good; try it all. The crowds on Sunday are jubilant and enjoy both the inside and outside experience. It’s the perfect place to LookOut!“
“A San Francisco legacy business; old school lgbt hangout with plenty of TVs to watch Niners and Warriors games. The decor is full of beautiful nostalgia; one of the TVs is dedicated to either Xena or some hilarious b-movie with Bigfoot. Excellent drinks (amazing margaritas and whiskey sours) and top class service. Love this place; A+++ ♥️“

“Last Call is a cozy and welcoming bar in the Castro. It has a relaxed vibe, friendly atmosphere, and just the right level of intimacy that makes it a great spot for a date. Drinks are solid, the crowd is easygoing, and it’s always a nice place to spend time with someone special.“

“As an openly queer femme, this is the best nightclub for feminine identities in the Bay Area LGBTQ+ community. The venue was such a safe space and the bartender was considerate. I danced my heart out, played pool with some friends, hyped up club dancers, received hugs from other sapphics, easily made new friends, drank a lot, and ate ramen. I genuinely enjoyed my experience. Not many LGBTQ+ nightclubs are feminine-friendly spaces. Thank you so much for existing.“
“I loved the warm atmosphere, friendliness of the bartenders and that it has also been a LGBT bar since 1973! I was there for a special wedding reception and it was just beautiful!!! 🥰😍🤩❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍“
“This is !n old divey bar in the upper Haight. It's fun and super friendly. You might come in a stranger but you'll leave with a new group of friends.
This is not a place where you look at what's trending so you can order the same thing and take yet another photo of the same cocktail to post on the web. This is a place where people talk to each tiger, share their stories and become friends.“
“Had a wonderful afternoon with my husband for a few cocktails. The bartender couldn’t have been more personable, kind and professional. Always came back to check on us. 🥰“
“Great bartender Michael! Very friendly“
“This is got to be one of my favorite bars in the Castro. Great bartenders, a pool table and just a great place to hangout with friends. This is a drama free place, unlike some the other local places. And having Big Daddy on draft, made my day“
“Awesome promotion night .. we will come back“
“Pollie's Follies drag brunch competition at Midnight Sun was super fun! The bar is pretty small, which was fun because it wasn't overly crowded and we were right next to the queens. Polly Amber Ross and Sis Phyllis were my faves!“
“This has become one of our favorite bars when visiting the city. Often they have good week day specials (listed inside) and fun theme nights. So many bars in this area (thankfully they are still around) all with different vibes. We find that we usually go here and the Mix when visiting this area.“
“Fun gay bar that does largely top forty. Good for tourists because the dj set is shockingly similar every night you go. It has a good outside area that can be used to cool down after you are dancing. The patio can be a bit heavy in smoking“

“You know, I was among a select group who were regulars there from 1997 - 2008, which is arguably the heyday of the bar. In fact, I bought so many drinks and merchandise there for myself and my friends that I fully expect a bronze plaque to be placed on the bar because fer chrissakes, if you people had kids I would have put them through medical school by now. I even have a photo on the patio of my mother and me at the pre-wedding party they held for my ex and me. How about we get some of the past patrons to help out by adding photos to your gallery? Hmmm?😜“
“Drinks and service were wonderful. I really wanted to like this place more but none of the toilets were working and they couldn't run the dishwasher due to a plumbing issue. All very unsanitary. Also cash only but they have an ATM. Hopefully they will have the plumbing fixed before we try again. We didn't want to leave early but we had to since there was not a functional bathroom. Update: it's fixed 🙌 🤗 and now I can just love the vibes.“
