“Friendly staff who are happy to give reccomendations for the area (both for food, bars etc as well as "cultural" advice).
Reasonably priced.
Nice vibe. Music, but not too loud. Cool rural on the floor you enter in.“
“I came for the Silent Book Club. It seems to be a nice place. I didn't order anything at this visit. We were in a room in the back and were given water and small snacks. The bar seems to be a place with a bit of an intellectual vibe and seems inviting. Maybe it would be nice to return for some of its offerings.“

“Orafo is a hidden gem perched above San Francisco’s Financial District — a restaurant that blends California boldness with classic Italian soul, all wrapped in Four Seasons elegance. I came here for two breakfasts and one indulgent lunch, and each meal was a perfect mix of thoughtful preparation, fresh ingredients, and flawless service.
The space itself is stunning: airy and sunlit during the day, warm and intimate at night. Whether you're seated by the windows or tucked into a cozy banquette, it feels like a refined escape from the busy city below.
Must-orders: the seafood soup — rich, comforting, and full of depth — and the perfectly seared steak, which was easily one of the best I’ve had in SF. Everything from the plating to the pacing felt intentional and quietly luxurious.
Whether you're staying at the hotel or not, Orafo is absolutely worth a visit. It’s effortlessly chic, never pretentious, and ideal for anything from business meetings to slow, indulgent meals above the city.“

“Great views, great staff, great food, and great drinks. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Would recommend and will return. Enjoyed the DJ, my favorite drinks were the Love Cats and Mr. Jinks. We shared several plates and the pork belly skewers, the pretzels (the mustard and pimento stuff was delish) and the asparagus salad were all amazing.“

“I quit drinking before the judge ordered me to—how is that for initiative? Since that last call, no bar has captured my attention. Nor have I returned to any of the bars I enjoyed around here. I’m from the east coast—a pub near a rail station which draws a crowd free of pretense is proper nurture. Glen Park Station is welcoming, comfortable, fun, and built for a night done right.
There are non-alcoholic brews for those who abstain, shot-and-a-beer specials for $12.00, wine by the glass, and an indoor smoking lounge. A pinball machine which takes dollar bills. Darts. Superior bar stools. Table seating up front. A rear patio. No Apple Pay.The bar has neighboring businesses which serve food. One can find Vietnamese, Thai, and Mexican fare within a block. The bodega sits across from BART, on the same side of Diamond St. A pizza place is in proximity. This area has a low-key dominance about it. A great spot for socializing, a walkable pocket of the city wherein small businesses sling good eats, and you have the option to get hammered.
Parking is available in the public library lot after 6, 7, 8PM during the week. Street parking on the northbound lane of Bosworth between Arlington & Diamond is free in the evenings. I am not sure when the meters stop accepting payment-I pulled up at 7:30PM on a Monday.
To those behind the wheel—be advised—residential streets intersect as sharp turns become sudden hills. At all hours there are pedestrians, cyclists, and coyotes. SFPD often posts a patrol vehicle on Bosworth (south of the Arlington intersection) to eyeball the I-280 south on-ramp.“

“Our entire party of six truly enjoyed our meal! The staff was attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable from start to finish. The adults ordered the chicken, salmon, and shrimp & octopus — all were beautifully prepared and delicious. For dessert, we shared the sticky toffee bread pudding and the TCHO chocolate delice, both paired perfectly with coffee. The teens were just as happy with their meal — they loved the homemade chicken nuggets, French fries, cheeseburger, and twice-baked potatoes. They topped it all off by sharing a classic ice cream sundae, which was a big hit. We've been telling everyone how wonderful our experience was and can't wait to come back!“

“The Exploratorium has been a huge part of my life. Growing up in San Francisco, I went there constantly, and it’s what first sparked my love for science. I’ll never forget the old location it’s a childhood memory I’ll always hold onto, but the new space on the waterfront is such an upgrade and so much more accessible for everyone. Every exhibit is so well thought out, creative, and fun to explore. No matter how many times I visit, there’s always something new to discover. Anytime I’m back in the city, I make sure to spend at least a day (or two!) at the Exploratorium. Truly one of San Francisco’s treasures.“

“Craft Cocktails are creative, balanced, and leaving you wanting more. The food: Duck Salad, Buns, Veg Fried Rice, Sea Bass were all fresh, flavorful, and amazing. This restaurant takes Asian Pacific Cuisine and elevates it to the heavens… The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, accommodating, and very friendly.“
“great place and the prices are even better. The owner is so nice. This is our new go to bar when we come to San Francisco. They rhave happy hour prices all the time. love the drink he made me“

“Cute spot for a night cap. It’s a pretty small spot so expect some intimate vibes which was ideal for a date with my man. I got a mezcal margarita and he got the fade into you, we both were trying not to finish our drinks fast because of how delicious they were. It is a craft cocktail bar so expect to pay about $50+ for two drinks. It’s worth it though! I definitely recommend it though. Bartenders were very friendly too.“

“This wine bar is one of my favorites and it never disappoints. The wine list is always excellent, the escargots are truly the best, and the flatbread is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years, and I can honestly say it’s my go-to wine bar. Perfect for a date or for a full catching-up with friends“

“First time customer after passing by for years of living in this neighborhood. The staff are AMAZING! Crystal is a phenomenal bartender and a wonderful conversationalist. Granted it was not busy so I was able to grasp her attention even though she was clearly still paying attention to Everyone in the bar and meeting their needs. Extremely professional and personable.
Overall exp:
Bar maid is great. Bald guy is cool 😎
I will definitely be coming back! A great neighborhood spot for locals to discover and spend their evening <3“

“Great bartender & sours. FYI - they don't serve any liquor, just beer & wine
Parking: You will likely have to drive around the neighborhood for a while and walk a few blocks to park which will be time limited.“
“The vibes are solid. Can get a lil crowded between 930-12a but it eventually dies down around 12. Not sure why when there's a DJ and it closes at 2. It seems like this is more of a first stop for most people.
The drinks are solid but I've had better. But I could have gotten unlucky with a rotating menu.
Wouldn't mind coming back if I was in the area but prob wouldn't make a detour.“

“I work in the service industry so i’m very observant. The experience here was 10/10– this place was recommended by another industry member (server at Tripisueño another great spot!!!) everyone here is attentive. The place here is super cute & Francisco (the bartender that took care of me) will guide you to the best drinks & best spots here. 10/10 recommend.“

“I enjoyed food in this lounge several times when i went to lunch her with my co-workers. Corn soup was great. I also get the salmon salad. My co-workers got cesar salad. One time we got won ton soup. Very good, but won ton was small. Service is very attentive. Not too many people.“

“I had a great drink here and will be back — good conversation and playful banter with the bartender. Local spot on Chestnut with a pool table in the back. I stopped in solo just to check the vibe, since I live in the neighborhood and had never been in. Everyone was welcoming, and the staff was happy to chat.“
“Great little cocktail bar. Fun drinks menu $11-14. Bartender was friendly and quick in general but also with the help of some pre-made batch drinks. The siesta (mezcal and grapefruit) was my favorite. The bee's knees with agave instead of honey was missing that round flavor. Moscow mule had nice fresh ginger flavor. Solid.“

“Relaxed and sophisticated feel with great ambiance and shazamable music. The bartender Dominic is great.“
“An excellent bar attached to the hotel Kabuki (you DO NOT have to be staying at the hotel to enjoy the bar), staffed by the kind of bartenders that are natural mixologists and able to just sort of innovate their way to an excellent drink on the spot based on vague descriptions.A great collection of Japanese inspired cocktails (try the umeboshi!), using some solid spirits you might not have tried beforeNote that these cocktails are not Instagram material, they're all flavor with subdued visuals, which honestly is the best kindDon't sleep on the mocktails either, they know how to make a great one of those too.“

“My favorite spot to play pool. The bartenders are nice and drinks are great. The atmosphere is always fun and energetic. Several players with good skill level show up here. Weekends get fairly crowded and fun. The pool tables are really nice. They have Diamond brand tables, 8 ft, which they maintain fairly nicely.“

“It was a quiet Tuesday evening and this beautiful space was not busy at all. So we had great personalized attention and insight into the menu from our kind server. I understand that the Brixton can have a packed-to-the-walls weekend crowd, but I am glad we had a calmer experience. The array of appetizers we selected for a mix-and-match approach to our meal were eclectic blends of culture, flavors, and preparation styles- all done really well! I had a zero-alcohol housemade, shrub-based mocktail- totally going to have that one again! So freshing and allowed me to drive home safely!“

“Definitely a great spot! It’s certainly not guaranteed that you’ll have a spot, but our group of 4 managed to get seats. Our server, Don was a great host and made us feel comfortable and not rushed at all. You’re much more likely to find seats as a smaller group, but it’s worth checking it out.“
“Great people, great cocktails and great music all in a relaxed and rustic environment.“
“Went with my wife for special dinner. Delicious! Miso with clams were tasty. We had chicken karage, and Yasai and Godzilla rolls. Everything was beautifully presented.
Shout out to Deepak - he made my bday dinner special with cheesecake“
