Unless you want to spend over $100 a person, this is by far the best sushi in San Francisco, and extremely affordable. The sushi is excellent. The Onakase tasting menu is a great value at $44 for ten pieces, usually including at least two pieces of belly portion (e.g., tuna, salmon, hamachi, ocean trout). A solid choice for sushi in the neighborhood. I've only ever gotten takeout here so can't speak to the in dining experience. BUT my takeouts have been consistent and it is my go to when craving sushi as it's only a couple blocks from me. Service is always nice. I love the cherry blossom roll and spicy scallop. Will keep coming back for my weekly sushi fix!
