Absolutely keeping the box and bag my food came in, ordered mini burger but it was the same size as a regular mcd's hamburger and nowadays it's the same price if not cheaper than the real thing! The fries were to die for, the booths are fun and comfortable, I get why this place is popular. Will be back next visit to SF for sure!
This place tries very hard to be the vegan McDonalds, with very similar looking and tasting food. It tasted good, fries were amazing, staff was friendly. But in total the place seemed a bit run down, the menu on the wall was taped over multiple times and didnt show prices. Seating very limited and tight.

I've been vegan for almost 7 years and have had many a burger, so when I read another review that Mr. Charlie's had the best vegan burger, I was skeptical. This place makes a damn good burger. The branding is really cute, and there being a McDonald's across the street really adds to the place feeling like a genuine satirical statement. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-11
