“Coming from LA and being Chinese, I find the quality, setting and value of Chinese food in NorCal lacking. Was so happy to find this little gem of a restaurant. It’s nicely decorated and clean. There were interesting and tasty dishes like their chef’s special eggplant and chef’s special stir fry with shredded taro, greens and pine nuts. We also ordered the fish and pickled vegetable soup and duck. All was well seasoned and balanced, felt like clean solid food. The staff was lovely and welcoming. I would say this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in SF!“

“Our daughter is obsessed with soup dumplings which we found at Fusion Dumpling. The traditional pork were great, but try the black truffle and wagyu soup dumplings. You won't be disappointed!“

“Great place with a lovely patio, it's expensive of course but they give you value for the money too in the form of delicious dumplings and related delicious food. They are okay for vegetarian options. I ate at this place a lot when it was Savour and never ate outside once. The Patio is much better integrated, covered and fun with the current restaurant.“

“The food came out quickly, the portions were generous, and it was overall delicious. We got two medium pots for four people, and we were all stuffed by the end. It's definitely on the spicy end for me (my spice tolerance is pretty low), but they have a good range of spice levels. I especially liked the diced chicken, wide vermicelli, and rice cakes. We got pumpkin mochi and fried dough too, which were very sweet and tasty and a nice way to round out a spicy meal. We didn't get a ton of rice, but definitely enough to eat most of the pots.“

“Wow, really like the food. Visited this area for my wife's company event and found they have less spicier vegetarian option. After my kids loving the noodles, we ordered more . I really liked my spicy chicken noodle too. The quantity is good for the price we pay for. Definitely visit it again !!“

“We grew up with a lot of chinese cuisines in southeast asia- teochew, hakka, hainam, foochow, hokkien, cantonese.
And while vacationing in San Francisco, after sunday mass at the Mission Basilica, we stumbled upon the New Red Jade and decided to have some chinese for sunday lunch.
Very nice boss and family. Very welcoming. Restaurant is clean.
We ordered the Lemon Chicken and String Beans, white rice for 2. Generous portions!!!
Delicious, delicious, delicious. Tastes wholesome, like home 😍 lemon chicken is a dish we have back home, but back home it is cooked with various chicken parts like thighs etc, and we even have orange chicken versions.. BUT nevertheless the lemon chicken here is prepared with breast meat, and is crunchy and not dried out... which makes is very yummy.
We saw many families and friends dining there, and we hope many more people will go to the New Red Jade and give them a try. If you dont know what to order, try what we've ordered.. ☺️
Will definitely come back when we visit SF again! Thank you laupan (boss) and family and team for preparing these dishes and for feeding us these delicious food. Keep it up! Jia yu! 🫶“

“Food was good. I had chicken corn soup and potstickers. The soup was enough for two, and it had quite a bit of soft and tender chicken in it. They supplied soy sauce for the potstickers, but it would been better if they included a choice of hot spicy oil. The prices are high. But the place is well kept, not rundown or neglected.“

“Little Szechuan is one of our “go to” restaurants when we’re craving authentic Chinese food with regional spices and heat. They offer an extensive menu, including dishes that will help Chinese natives overcome any pangs of homesickness. In fact, it reminds my partner of foods his grandmother used to prepare for his family in Wuhan. Delivery is fast, reliable, and always hot upon arrival. Try it! “We got the Basil tofu and Mongolian beef.
The tofu was perfect, not too chewy or tough but crispy on the outside. The veggies were really fresh, and the sauces were really excellent. They really did elevate the cuisine over most of what gets in San Jose or Santa Cruz for sure.
It's obvious they are more of a take-out place, with skeletal service, the building is really a dump, and the neighborhood is worse, but the food totally makes up for it.“

“Vegetarian options: Though the menu is mainly directed towards omnivores, vegetarians do have a selection of offerings. There is no clear vegetarian option when it comes to the main component of the dish, the broth.
Parking: The nearby Smart and Final has a paid parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: The central tables have separate chairs which can be moved, and the table itself is at an adequate level for most standard wheelchairs, provided the arm rests can move. Baring that, there should be little problem adapting.“
