Whiskey Bars in San Francisco, CA

“Love casements & always will. Always the perfect bar for the occasion…quiet drinks, groups, outdoor, mix of people who want beer/cocktails/wine….love their backyard. The people who work here r amazing!!! They do sick events too and love that they bring the community together ❤

I wish their menu had a little more variety (like sometimes I want something that’s a little bite but not fries/more than $20). But idgaf I will always come back. Thank you casements!!!!“

We arrived at Capo’s around 7:20 pm on a Saturday and were told we would have to wait 40 minutes for a table.
As hungry travelers, we said thank you and as we were about to leave, the hostess finds a nook and sat us down outside. I appreciate the fact that she did us that favor.
There were no patio heaters, so if sitting outside or walking in during busy hours, expect to dine outside in the cold with no heat (during winter).

(The Staff)
It was a very busy night, but the staff did a spectacular job in checking in on us.

(The Food)
The appetizers come in a reasonably sized portion, we ordered the garlic bread with mozzarella and was given a complimentary dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
My partner ordered the meat lasagne and I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka with smoked pancetta. The food was really good, it’s unlike anything I have ever had.
Take in mind that the dishes do serve up to 2 people, on busy nights it make take a bit to get your food, and regular pizzas take up to 20 minutes to bake, deep dish pizzas take up to 45 minutes to bake (but they look like they are worth the time!)

(Conclusion)
I would have loved to sit inside, the vibe is really nice. If you are looking for authentic Italian food with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, book a reservation at Capo’s.“

“This is such a special little hole in the wall. It's a little hard to find at night. It just has 83 painted above the door. The bartenders are friendly, creative, and knowledgeable. For our first round we ordered our usual favorite cocktails but asked them to make it with their favorite liquors. We could tell by their response that we were in for a treat. This is the kind of place where they will get down the bottle and tell you about it. On the second round, we asked the bartenders to each make us their favorite drink that they've been making lately, and we were not disappointed. If you like to nerd out about your cocktails, this is the place.“

“This is a fun place. Lots of whiskey and some beer. The bartenders are just amazing and will help you find what you are looking for. I had a great Manhattan with Michters rye whiskey and it was perfect. But they have a huge selection of whiskey see the photo. It is a little small and can be loud. But will be back.“

“We had our last night at #Dreamforce Last night, and it was a great venue to relax and chill after a busy week at Dreamforce. Loved the staff, who made everything run smooth. They even had a coat/bag check, which was great to drop off those heavy backpacks that we’d all been carrying around all week. Highly recommend this venue for your corporate events!“
