Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. “Taco Guy Catering came to our church, and served some of the tastiest tacos I've ever had, along with amazing sides and sauces. All protein were very well-seasoned, and NOT dry, which I was pleasantly surprised by. And David and Javier ran an efficient operation, and moved hungry people quickly. Both gentlemen were professional, courteous, and well-received by our congregation. My only desire for that day was if double the amount of chopped onions and cilantro could have been prepared (perhaps we only paid for the amount we got). Otherwise, TGC was great. The top of the cup was very ergonomic which made for a pleasant drinking experience. “Food was absolutely delicious !! Loved the Blondie wings and the Alabama white sauce (tastes like the mayo that you put on esquites and elotes). The fries were delicious too, not too salty and a little sweet. Also had some mac and cheese (it was bomb), and the brisket sandwich was really good too :-)!!“
“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.“
“I helped set up the event center for a quince. Ms. Roberta was there every step of the way, making sure we had everything we needed. She loan us her cart and kept checking on us. The venue is beautiful. There is plenty of room for the dance floor and photo booth. The parking lot isn't very big but plenty of room on the side street. If you are looking for a nice and clean venue with wonderful and hard working staff, Azar Event Center is a perfect location.“

“I ordered a funeral spray for my mother in law's memorial service. I grew up working in the floral industry so I had specific flowers I wanted to include or omit from the spray and a vision of the arrangement. Rosemills went above and beyond what I envisioned. The flowers were perfect, beautiful quality and admired by everyone at the service. They really nailed my flower love letter to my mother in law. I am very grateful.“

I changed my guest count few times and they worked with me. I asked them so many questions to figure out how to do things and they patiently responded to all my questions. The venue was very helpful with planning and helped create the perfect details for a memorable party. The menu options are plenty and all food was great, all guest enjoyed the variety of dishes and beverages. The venue worked with us so third-party vendors like cake baker, band, DJ, decorations, and photographers had early access to prep. Once the party began the venue staff made our diverse group of guests, many that had not attended this type of banquet feel very comfortable and offered polite service and drinks as needed. We were able to try different flavors, but ended up getting a split child's scoop of fresh mint with cacao nibs and brown sugar vanilla bean. For child's scoop it was still a lot of ice cream! Every cut was displayed beautifully and labeled clearly, with good thin slices for hot pot purposes and the wagyu really showed off the marbling.
