Still my favorite breakfast spot in San Jose every time I visit. Delicious food every time. Barbara was very sweet and attentive. The sweet potato Benedict with carnitas was very creative, the hash browns have a nice crispy exterior. I leave full and happy every time“

He was attentive and funny, which we appreciated as we were celebrating the life of my late father. He even brought and refilled a water bowl for my dog. “I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“I want to thank George the owner for introducing me to his mother Meropes secret recipe desert. Truly Inunderstand why she was named after one of the Pleiades this desert is Ambrosia to the gods. Everything about it is just right and even big enough to share but why would you want to even do that? The variety of choices of food from Greek to American and I was amazed by so Many vegetarian choices. The difference between this version of Bill of fare as opposed to the other owners is the size of the restaurant as well as no one rushing you to leave! No Matter what restaurant you go to due to popularity of it, parking will always be problematic but its location provides plenty of street parking! “Went to the Breakfast Club 1-13- 24 around 8:00 am, seated quickly and placed our order. They had their doors open for a large delivery ,temp out side was 39-40 degrees and delivery took over thirty min., doors still open and no food. We felt they have no respect for their customers and left. Management is a joke.“

“We were driving by this place and just had a craving for a donut. We were very surprised and glad that we did stop. They have a huge assortment of donuts and donuts that I have never seen at any other place. We tried the Cronut, Creme Brule, donut holes filled with raspberry and regular glazed. All the donuts were great and the service is excellent. We will definitely come back here again.“

“The best thing about this place is that they’re open 24 hours! I would definitely recommend it, especially when everything else is closed. The pricing is reasonable, and the service was excellent. Pamela helped our table and was great from the start. She was very patient with us and offered helpful recommendations. She checked on us frequently and went the extra mile to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She truly deserves a raise for providing such exceptional service.

The food was delicious and came out fairly quickly. The parking lot, however, is a bit tricky. The entrance is narrow and easy to miss, and you may end up passing it and seeing an exit that you unfortunately cannot enter.

One concern I noticed was that the ice cream tub and whipped cream were completely exposed. Customers walk by with easy access, and there were no lids or coverings. This is extremely unhygienic, as someone could cough, sneeze, or touch it, not to mention flies, which do not appear to be prevented from making direct contact.

The ambiance is okay, nothing particularly special, but they did a great job decorating for Christmas.

“My husband and I have been to this IHOP several times now, and every visit has great — largely because of our wonderful server, Mayra. She was warm and attentive. She checked in at the right moments The breakfast was great, but the hospitality is what keeps us coming back. Thank you, Mayra, for making our mornings feel special. IHOP is lucky to have you“
