Ordered take out. The employee that took the order was really nice. He gave me his time to make sure the order was correct. I could see how my order could have been "difficult", but the employee even offered recommendations which were very much appreciated :) The portions were huge! I like that they made sure the food was packaged well. They were even generous about their condiments.Glad we chose to order take out from Flames. Flames is a longtime fixture in South San Jose. Like any respectable diner, the food is good, made to order and served hot. Servings are generously proportioned. The coffee is bland but mugs are refilled with fastidious regularity. The servers are extremely attentive and responsive. Just about the best diner experience you could hope for.
