“TBH I was hesitant at first to eat at Acopia. As a vegan, most Mexican restaurants do not usually have options for me. Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.“

I am a vegetarian so I've only tried their veg entrees and they are really really tasty. The staff are very polite and kind - having interacted with them over chat for questions. “I have never eaten Ethiopian food before nor have I ever been interested in eating it. Stumbled upon this restaurant when out looking for food that was not Mexican, (nothing wrong with Mexican food. I love Mexican food but just wanted something else). I had no idea what to expect. So glad we stumbled across it. It was so good. If we were here for more than one night, I would definitely return. The staff were awesome. So friendly and welcoming. The food was so good and opened my eyes, (and stomach), to a new cuisine. The price was very reasonable. Do not let the empty restaurant put you off. Definitely worth a visit.“

“The minute we tried Bossman's pizza a few months ago, we were hooked! Got takeout and delivery many times from this place. The pizza is always on point, perfect crust and generous toppings. Have not had a chance to dine in due to COVID-19 but we look forward to visiting in person soon.“

“Naltaliya was great in every step of the way. We ordered a cake and a cupcake for the baby shower. Sent her some ideas and she created a masterpiece. When I saw the cake I was speechless. “My wife and I have been passing by this place for almost 3 years after our daughters swim lessons and have always wanted to stop by and grab some food here but never come around to it. We finally decided to drop by and grab something to eat here. And we have been missing out for so long. The service is quick and people very nice and the food is amazing. Carne asada burrito with red and green salsas on the side was my pick. The Sonora hot dog is also amazing! We are definitely coming back here!“

This place hits all the notes, every ingredient tasted as fresh as can be, and the great part about Persian mediterranean food is how the meat is prepared. There’s no masking any of the flavors with an abundance of spice, just cooked to perfection, tender, and well worth the wait. Will be returning here.“

“I adore this bakery-it's my favorite bakery in town, and I take great pleasure in supporting small family-run businesses. I visit almost every week, and I always get their almond croissants; they are so flavorful and moist at the center! Their macarons, cheesecakes, and cakes are also exceptional. I loved their macarons so much that I placed a large order for my wedding!

“I was curious to try this place after driving past it so many times and home eats in Cupertino let me down the last time I ate there. We had the eggplant and combo noodle special and a bowl of rice. The food was pretty tasty and fresh but I felt like it was expensive for Chinese food. 25$ for noodles and about $17 for eggplant, 3$ for rice. Service and ambience was nicer than your typical Chinese restaurant but was it worth another visit? We’ll see“

I’ve hosted 2 events here already - my parents’ 50th anniversary in 2014 and my 50th birthday this year. Easy process to reserve the space & select menu. Great customer service from all staff.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“

“This Neighborhood Sports Bar with plenty of TVs pours stiff drinks on the cheap and will turn the Juke Box off for football games 😉. They have a huge draw for Karaoke on the weekends, too.

“Walia Ethiopian Cuisine is simply outstanding! We kicked things off with delicious lentil sambusas, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The main event, the Zuckerberg Combo, was a feast for the senses. Every dish, from the rich doro wat to the tender chicken tibs and the diverse vegetarian options, was perfectly spiced and incredibly satisfying. Scooping it all up with their fresh injera was pure joy. Excellent service and an authentic experience make Walia a must-visit in San Jose!“

“I ordered the pork chop and the spring rolls. Everything else was fresh but the pork chops. Pork chops were dry and tasteless. Other than that, the spring rolls, vegetables, and rice tasted fresh. The side soup was good. Utensils wise, they only have forks and chopsticks, wish they had knives and spoons. The smoothies are really good though.“

“Jessica and her team at Fancy Flavors Bakeshop did it again! This is the second gluten-free cake that I have ordered in less than two months. This was a custom ordered cake for my daughter’s birthday. I communicated with Jessica through email and we were able to come up with the design of what I wanted for my daughter’s cake. The cake came out beautifully! My daughter loved it, and everyone said that it tasted great. They couldn’t believe that it was gluten-free. It is also hard to find bakeries that make gluten-free cakes. That’s why I’m so glad to have found Fancy Flavors. They are now our go to bakery. Thanks again!“

“Stopped by Cocola at Santana Row right at opening on a Saturday. No crowd at all, which made it a relaxing start to the day. I got a hot mocha, the flavor was average, but the portion size was generous and the price surprisingly affordable for Santana Row.

Tried the mushroom croissant and was really pleased. it had a nice savory umami flavor. Also had a pistachio croissant, which was decent but tasted like it wasn’t made fresh that morning. Pastries are on the pricier side and the quality is average.

Service was fast and the baristas were friendly. Outdoor seating was lovely, and there’s plenty of parking, but it’s only free for the first two hours.“

“I ordered a 4 tier cake for my wedding. I asked if they would be able to do the old vintage cake designs. I was told yes. I sent several detailed emails and pictures of what I wanted. The cake was NOTHING close in design, outside of 4 levels, nothing else looked like the pictures. Only one of the colors, only a couple flowers. Then, 1 hour into the reception the cake fell over. I never even got to cut my 4 tiered cake! When I brought it up after, she blamed the heat. There was air conditioning in the venue! She offered to redo it for pictures. I agreed then never heard from her. I contacted her multiple times and I just today get an email from her saying she can't do that after all. I lost money, had a mediocre cake that looked nothing like the inspo picture I sent, and had my cake fall over and barely salvaged enough for the guests. This is a horrible business who doesn't care about making a cake for something as important as a wedding. My dream cake was ruined. I should've gone with someone else. What a horrible bakery. Liars and unprofessional. If you don't know how to do vintage designs don't sat you do! And do not offer a remake if you don't mean it! If you're looking for a multi tiered wedding cake, do not use them!“

We’re both big fans of the bagel sandwiches they sell here, but I was extremely impressed with the two young gentlemen’s services and their polite and kind mannerism. Even though it was a busy Friday, they were both being super friendly to everyone and were working very hard, which I love to see!“

“Ever go to a place and you ordered a dish that looks/sounds good and you order it and it was so delicious that when you go back again it will be the only thing you order. My wife brought me home Honey Walnut Shrimp. I received it cold but the size of the shrimp made me go wow! It was delicious and I couldn't finish it. The following week I went back and told the counter guy my last week experience, I own a restaurant and I know they love positive feedback. Guess what I did? I ordered it again and ate it in the parking lot in my car. It was very hot and much better than I expected. I'm now afraid to try anything else. I looked for shrimp & lobster sauce but did not have. That WAS my go to dish!“
