“Excellent lunch! Beef/Lamb Gyro Bowl. It's 80/20 beef & lamb, and super tender. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, rice and sauce all over it. It's a great lunch that doesn't overwhelm. The front counter was friendly, and kept the tables clean. I even tried the baklava and froyo dessert. EXCELLENT! Thank you. Nice job, Nick!“

“The 365 is best described as a Greek heavy Mediterranean deli. Gyro and falafel are the mainstays, but there is more. Portions are good sized. The sauces are very tasty. The tzatziki is some of the best I’ve had.“

“Great as always. I love coming to Nick the Greek, their food is consistently delicious and I can't get enough of their tzatziki sauce.I ordered my favorite, the beef/lamb gyro as a combo (fries and a drink). The fries were ok at best, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they had Diet Dr. Pepper as a drink option.Would recommend for a quick and delicious fast foot type meal.“

“I'd recommend the Chicken Gyro Bowl, which is a fairly well balanced mix of well spiced chicken and greek salad over basmati rice. While their gyros are tasty, I find them overly heavy, especially if they have the default fries mixed in.The line was pretty short vs. some of the other options at the food court. And it was ready pretty quickly. The selection of greek sodas is a nice treat, the lemon lime was refreshing.Of course this is a mall foodcourt at the end of the day. So I can't bring myself to give it five stars.“

“Nick the Greek in San Jose is a solid choice for Greek food! The gyros are packed with flavor, and the tzatziki is perfectly creamy and fresh. Portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy times. Great spot for a quick, delicious Greek meal on the go!!!“

“I've only ever ordered from Nick via Door Dash, so I can't testify to the service or the atmosphere. (Though I will say that NEVER has an order been wrong, so I guess that speaks to "Service" for which I will give it 5 stars!)
Anyway, I've tried a couple of things on the menu, but my favorite Greek food (since childhood actually) is the Gyro! And, boy, Nick's makes a great gyro.
I stick to the traditional beef/lamb combo, and it's SO good. I don't know if you like messy sandwiches and hamburgers, but I do. And a gyro is just a Greek sandwich/wrap, so is it any surprise that I like it messy? And Nick's gyro is messy! Yum. And huge. Double yum.
But I confess that I like falafel just as much and have discovered their falafel plate. OMG! This is my winner! I now order this EVERY TIME I order from Nick's.
It is WAY filling, so I wouldn't blame you if you can't finish it. I mean, we are talking about 5-7 falafel, fries, pita triangles, and a salad... accompanied with tsatziki (and my apologies because I KNOW I spelled that wrong!) and hummus.
If you find you can't finish it, no biggie. It makes a wonderful leftover lunch the next day.
I also love the frozen yogurt. Plain, it's a refreshing treat. (And you do get a lot.) But add on the honey and pieces of baklava, and it becomes a decadent dessert. And don't worry. This freezes (with or without the add-ons) so you can enjoy it anytime! Eat a little after dinner, then put the lid back on and pop it in the freezer for later.
A year or so ago, I tried their lemon soup (don't remember the menu name), and it was good. But that was when I was new to Nick's and sampling the menu to find my favorite.
And now that I'm a gyro or falafel girl, I don't even think about ordering anything else.
So try Nick's. I'm sure the restaurant is nice. But even if you have to Dash it, you'll enjoy good food.
About the pictures:
1. Side Greek salad (yummy!)
2. Falafel plate (so, so good!)
3. Frozen yogurt with baklava and honey
Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but my absolute favorite is the falafel plate. Trust me. Even as a non-veg, I could LIVE on this plate. It's SO good!“

“This was our first time and on Mother’s Day. We were seated right away on the patio (by choice) next to a heater. We ordered and our food came pretty quick and was delicious. I had the California Eggs Benedict and boy did the homemade hollandaise sauce blow my taste buds. It’s was so good.“

“The pita and the lemony soup , hummus and fries are tasty (especially vs Nick the Greek's burnt tasting pita)... I like their menu, and would choose Greek spot over say, Nicks - but The rice i will not eat from here- Uncle Ben's tastes better. Throw some saffron in there! There's also an odd yogurt / ice cream I did not like.“
