I highly recommend the gyros, salmon plate, shrimp, dolmas, tzatziki, and rice pilaf. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the grilled Mediterranean flavor they achieve is simply fantastic. “The chicken gyro bowl here was super good. The food came out really fast and the fries were super fresh. Everything in the bowl was really good, fresh ingredients, and hot. It was the perfect amount of food and the packaging was so cute. We had a miscommunication about the student discount, but the owner reached out to me and was super kind about it. This place is owned by good people and has amazing food! I highly recommend :)“

The souvlaki chicken bowl did not disappoint as at all! The rice was really good and the lemon flavor was great. The chicken was nice and tender, and delicious. “Recently, we had family over and decided to oder from The Great Greek in San Ramon. The total order was over $350. I had some specific requests for my order and called the restaurant directly to make sure they knew exactly what I was trying to order.
The young man who that took my order was patient, attentive and understood what I wanted. The order was prepared exactly as I had requested. The meats and shrimp cooked just right and the rest of the order was perfect. I have to praise the person who took my order and the cook that prepared the meal. Everything went smoothly and one of them even helped me to bring my order to the car. This is not the first time I ordered or dined at The Great Greek and certainly recommended the restaurant to anyone who wants to experience Greek food, it's great. Thank you!“

“Great little neighborhood spot. One of those fun strip mall eateries that you're so glad to have found. The chicken souvlaki skewers was juicy and just right. The fries are perfectly seasoned, and the kids LOVED to dip them (and the cucumbers from the Prasini Salad) into their tzatziki - definitely order a side of it. Kid friendly in general, and although the atmosphere is pretty straightforward, it is cute and we'll designed. I wish they had dolmades and avgolemeno!“

“I had such a great experience at Nick the Greek in Walnut Creek thanks to Edwin and Tonya. They were so helpful walking me through the menu and making recommendations, and because of them I tried the Chicken Souvlaki Pita for the first time. Now I’m obsessed – I’ve already gone back twice in one week because it’s so good. On top of the delicious food, I genuinely enjoy talking with Edwin and Tonya every time I stop by; they are incredibly kind, friendly, and make the place feel welcoming. I’ll definitely keep coming back!“

“Clean restaurant. Falafel was great crispy outside fresh herbs inside. Shawarma was good. Lentil soup good. Baba ghanoush was delightfully smoky. Alameda sodas at the fountain (which I like). Hummus tasty. Much, much better than I expected in a sad little strip mall.“
