“I wish we ordered more!
Stopped by for a post-climbing snack to share, it was pretty close to closing when we got there. We passed by on our way to the gym and were so excited by the smell we knew that we had to grab a bite after.
We ordered one Al Pastor Mulita ($9) & one Auga Fresca (I believe it was ~$5)!
They had horchata and pineapple for the self-serve drink options. We got the Pineapple, it was a bit sweet since it was close to the bottom of the pitcher, but once the ice melted down, it was perfect. Additional refills do cost extra, but totally worth it for the size of the cup they give!
The mulita came out in less than 5 minutes and it was piping hot, oozing with cheese, and you get as much grilled onions and peppers as you want on the side. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the tortillas are homemade. I could honestly eat the tortillas on its own!
The al pastor itself was very tender & well seasoned. I really enjoyed the amount of pineapple chunks they mixed into the quesadilla! The caramelized onions on the side were sweet and still had a slight crunch to them.
There are also several homemade salsa bottles on the tables. We tried two different ones, which I unfortunately can’t recall which ones, but both were refreshing & not too spicy. It was the perfect compliment for the mulita!
The staff was so kind— even while they were closing up and cleaning up, they still let us use their dining area. They also gave us a free refill of aguas frescas because it was going to be tossed after they closed anyways!
As I’m looking back at pictures of the mulita now, I’m still surprised by the sheer size of it! I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other items, I’m very excited to try their Sope some time.“

“Best tacos on the East side of San Jose. I’ve coming here for years since when they only had a carreta de tacos. They really upgraded over the years, now they offer aguas frescas in different flavors. The tacos are always delicious, my favorite son los de ojo y al pastor!“

“These are the best tlacoyos and Hidalgo barbacoa I've ever tried. So if you want to try authentic Mexican food you need to make a stop at this place. As a Mexican this place takes me home in every bite, I lived in Mexico City and even there was hard to find a place with this flavor. The coconut water is delicious. Mr. Jose and his wife are very nice and hard working people. Everything in this place is exquisite!“

“The caterer for my daughter's wedding canceled a week before the wedding. Latin-Asian-Fusion Kitchen came through with exactly what was needed. The help was sincere and the food was great. Everybody complimented the food and there was plenty. Roddy responded to us promptly and kept in touch throughout the week and event. Great experience!!“

“Grew up eating here as a kid since it was a taco stand not a taco truck and the tacos always hit. They’re a good size bigger than most spots with premade tortillas since they make it fresh here in house. Delicious none spicy salsa verde, with their own orange sauce that has a nice kick but not overwhelming. Unfortunately they are now charging 4 dollars a taco which makes me big my eyes out the wall. I will still come here but I can’t afford 4 dollar tacos even if they’re bigger all the time. I was okay with the 3.75 price change they had a few months back but in this economy this has now become a treat instead of regular dinner. Still delicious and worth it just personally can’t afford this price change.“

“Had three different tacos (on steak, pork and chicken), all were excellent. Great street taco's, exactly what I was looking for when I was looking for taco's, this place was recommended by a work colleague when I was visiting the area, did not disappoint. Had a good salsa bar as well. Limited outdoor sitting available, was able to park in the tire shop parking lot beside the location.“
“La verdad la comida está deliciosa y muy buen servicio“
“Make sure to check their Instagram (@3brotherskitchen) to make sure when and where they're going to be. They were at a ghost kitchen on Ruff Drive at one of the food trucks further down the parking lot. We ordered the bo-rria tacos and the pork belly fries. The consomme that came with the tacos was fantastic. We also loved how unabashedly fatty the caramelized pork belly was. I want to go back for the banh mi and the rice bowls.“

“Awesome taco truck that's tucked away. My new local favorite. Their al pastor is amazing, and their super burritos are top notch (also only $10 at the time of this review). Make sure you have cash or Venmo because they don't take card.“

“Best shrimp tacos I’ve had in my life. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and the house-made tortillas were soft and fresh. The place was clean, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the owner and staff were so friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is one of my favorite taco trucks. I stumbled upon it by accident.
I was looking for another taco truck, and this one was way better.
They exceeded my expectations. I ordered a burrito since most places don't make the bowl.
I gutted it and ate it. It tasted so good. Thankfully, my gluten allergy isn't so severe, so it's okay if there's some contamination.
They offer a free bag of chips with the order. That was a nice surprise.
The drinks are priced fairly.
The employees are extra friendly and go above and beyond in making the tacos and the burritos. There are so many other items in the menu, but my favorite is the asada tacos. Asada on everything, please.“

“Súper ricos toda la comida que venden!! Muy recomendado y porciones muy bien servidas👍🏻“
“This place is great! I'm ?? and grew up with the authentic stuff cooked up by my folks, so I'm pretty picky about my fave Mexican food. That said, this place has pupusas and tortas that remind me of home, they're so good. The meat's well-seasoned, toppings are balanced well, and the prices are fair all around. I can easily see myself becoming a regular here.“

“The food was pretty good, as a Mexico City visitor I enjoyed the food although the gringa wasn’t what I fully expected (single tortilla instead of another on top.
Service can improve. It felt like they were having fun but not a precisely joy receiving people, so meh. That’s really important for me. Would return, sure. But I hope service does get warmer and welcoming.
Atmosphere was good, place to sit and parking. Some background music would help tho.“

“My favorite taco truck. Latest review said they serve very badly, but it’s entirely false from my perspective. I love this truck because of how great it consistently is(the gordita with Al pastor is incredible).I’m reviewing because the location is fenced off and I’m curious where they moved to. Will be returning to this page again soon to find out. Must. Find. Them….“
“I love me some Mexican food. So when I was driving back to the airport, I wanted to try these for dinner. I ordered 5 Taco Chicos al Pastor, and they were pretty good. The only thing I noticed was that they were pretty dry. Nice place, lots of seating and very friendly staff. Would go again.“

“Ramenbirria, is so delicious. Everything they prepare is off the hook! 10/10. Definitely worth trying !“
“Birria has become very popular in San Jose and my friend Jose @CompaaJavii recommended me to try dish, the Birria Pizzadilla! It's from a food truck called Tarasco Taqueria in San Jose, CA @TarascoTaq_SJ. The meat it's made from is goat stewed in broth, the soup known as \\\"Consome\\\". For $20, you get eight huge, generous portions of tortillas filled with Birria, cheese, cilantro and onions. They give you lime on the side along with green and red salsa. Every bite is filled with cheese and tender meat. It's bursting in flavors with the different spices and chilli they used. They also have exotic Fanta Soda imported from Mexico at $10 a can. A little pricey but it was a good splurge to try. They also have traditional items as well to try. They are open every day from 11 A.M to 10 P.M located on the corner of Story Road and Adrian Way in San Jose. If you want the best bang for your bucks in Birria, check them out. @TarascoTaq_SJ“
“This is seriously one our New Favorite Taco place! The Tacos are so authentic and the salsa is also spicy and good too. They add one tostada of beans at every order as a bonus and the price is just unreal. We arrived late so we couldn’t try the quesadillas, but definitely coming back to try them.100/10 para los tacos al pastor la verdad.“

“Very authentic Mexican food. The tortillas, sopes, and huaraches are hand made and make everything that much more delicious. We tried 1 sope de chorizo, 1 huarache de carne asada, 1 taco de asada, and 1 taco de pollo and all of the food was soooo satisfying. We also got an agua de piña con mango and saying that it was refreshing is an understatement. All the people working were attentive and they also do catering FYI! Can’t wait to be back to try their tamales oaxaqueños and their tlayudas.“

“We were here 2 weeks ago and it was chaos as far as service. I think they were unexpectedly busy. But the menu looked good, and the location is convenient for going to the CPA, so we thought we'd try again. Glad we did. All the service people were professional, polite, and friendly, even accommodating a late joiner. The food was tasty, with a lot of choices on both food and bar menu. We'll be back!“

“After attending a show in Hoover theater we were very hungry and this was the nearest open restaurant so we decided to give it a try.
I didn't check the menu beforehand and I was worried whether or not I will get any vegetarian options. I was pleasantly surprised to see a vegetarian section in their menu. I had vegetarian taco and toastada. Food was good!
My husband tried super taco with pollo and a fish taco, he like both.
It was a chill place, we loved their patio seating. This is a self service place, all the staff was friendly though to help with water, condiments etc.“

“Don't let the haters fool you. This place has consistently served up traditional Mexican food with authentic flavors that taste like they are straight from your abuela for easily the past decade. There is a reason the day workers eat here and not Tacos El Compa - which is great but definitely more Cali/Mex or Baja.“

“This place has excellent birrieria and they put it on all kinds of dishes. Birrieria is the only type of meat they sell, though. Luckily, there is another taco truck out front if someone in your group wants something other than birrieria. They only accept cash and Zelle, so make sure you have either of those before you show up. It can get busy, so it's best to park out on the street rather than pulling into the lot. Otherwise, you might get blocked in, forcing you to stay longer than you intended.“
