“THE BEST CHINESE FOOD WE’VE EVER HAD. Delivered piping hot, even though it was close to closing. Uber Eats doesn’t tell you that, so we didn't know :( Ordered the orange peel chicken, sizzling beef Cantonese, cream cheese wontons, BBQ pork lo mein, and mu shu pork. WOW! so hot and fresh and delicious. Portions are massive! I don’t usually order Chinese food but DANG this place has made me a fan. My husband, on the other hand: Chinese food is his favorite, so for him to say this was amazing, you know it was!“

“We were visiting from Australia, when we stumbled across this place - we had a wonder experience with both the food and service.
Our server was so friendly and we really enjoyed having a chat to him in the restaurant. All of the dishes we ordered were beautiful.

“By chance, my wife and I had stopped for lunch at Hai Master Restaurant and discovered that this restaurant is definitely a cuisine that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The prepared food distinguishes their dishes from the regular Chinese restaurant and is a taste that is incredibly delicious. The owner and chef is definitely one of a kind that incorporated the taste of her original province in China with her own spin. Tammy is the owner and chef and she just hired another chef with skills preparing Sichuan dishes if you want spicy food. This restaurant is becoming more popular each day because the restaurant is more packed every time we come there. Introduce yourself to Leo who can welcome you and lead you to the different delicious dishes they prepare and the service you can enjoy. 5 STARS“

Ordering is so easy—just scan the QR code at the table, browse the menu, and place your order right from your phone.
Food: The variety of dishes was impressive and authentic. We tried the Chengdu Dan Dan Noodles, stir-fried vegetables, garlic cucumber, fatty beef soup, and Japanese tofu egg. The stir-fried vegetables were perfectly seasoned, and the garlic cucumber added a refreshing crunch.
We ate the Japanese tofu egg with rice and stir-fried vegetables and it’s the bomb.
The service was attentive. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Sichuan flavors!“

“Hello I my name is Michael and I really love mandarin king service and their foods. Starting of with the soup , the soup was so good and I really liked it , next is the orange chicken, the orange chicken was really good it had so much good flavor and the perfect crunch not too crunchy but it was super tender next is the bread and cream cheese and pepper this was for my appetizer and it made a really good flavor with a sweet and spicy sauce, last but not least is the noodles they were the top tier and had a juicy taste to it and I really like the noodles.“

“We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for the past two years. After looking at Yelp, we decided to give them a try. Wow we found a great restaurant with fresh good tasting food. The atmosphere is a little different with the bar area being in the center. But with the awesome service and fantastic food who cares. You have to try it as soon as you can.“

“Absolutely delicious! The owner is so kind and generous, and the food is by far the best I’ve found in South OC. I drive over 25 minutes to get there, and am never disappointed. Can’t understand how anyone can give this less than 5 stars - so happy I found this gem.“

“Food we chose was from the vegetarian menu. We ordered the family meal for 3 people. They even made a substitute for egg roles. Very nice employees at the Dana Point restaurant. Will be going back again.

“Their service is great, and you can feel that they are paying a lot of attention to customers.
We brought our dog with us so we sit the outdoor area, and they have been very attentive all the time.
Food is great, they are noodle house but their rice is out of question also great as well.

“Went here for lunch, (they have amazing lunch specials on weekdays) and got my food quickly. Highly recommend trying this on your lunch break or whenever you get a chance. Food is high quality with great taste. Definitely going to be a regular here now!“

“So good. I know of no other place near here with Cantonese BBQ, especially duck. I primarily only get the duck but I have had the honey walnut shrimp and the green beans and have never been disappointed.
I use to have to drive to Irvine to get some duck but now that Sam Woo has closed this I the only place. I would argue it is better than Sam Woo was when they were still in business.
So happy this place opened so close to me.“

“I really enjoy the food here and often get takeout, but the prices have become much higher. Just six months ago, I ordered the same dishes for $6 less. It's now June 2024, and I'm quite disappointed about the price hike. This will probably be my last visit since I can find similar dishes elsewhere for a better price. It's a shame, but I have to consider my budget.“

“I have been dining at Peking Dragon for over 40 years and I can say without a doubt that the food quality has always been consistently very good every time! Love the lunch specials and the Sizzling Rice Soup! If you wish a change in the dish they have always tried to please. You won’t be disappointed.“

“This is my first time here. I didn't even know it existed.
I had the three flavor kung pao , substituted chow mein noodles for the rice with a side of tempura shrimp.
I loved how the kung pao was caramelized.
The chow mein noodles were not over cooked nor under cooked.
The tempura shrimp seasoned just right and fried to the right crispness.
All in all it was full on foodgazism to the hilt.
The best I can say is bye bye Panda Express and hello Little Chopsticks.
If you're looking for fresh Chinese food this is the place. If you're a foodie give this place a try.... you just might enjoy it. I know I did.

“I just wanted to take the time to really thank Pick Up Stix at the Lake Forest location. I always have had a great experience here - whether it be for the food or the customer service.
Recently, I decided to venture off my usual choice - Chow Mein - which I think is the best ever. Unfortunately, the new dish I ordered was subpar, I called the restaurant and spoke to a nice lady (I forgot her name unfortunately), she went above and beyond just replacing the meal. And I really appreciated it. Customer service like this is now rare - but she was so nice about it. A) didn't make me feel low or stuck-up (I hate that feeling esp when the vendor makes the mistake) - this was not the case here B) replaced the meal with another of my choice C) And added a generous extra item on the house

“I've only tried a couple of dishes, but they were really good. There aren't many Asian restaurants in south OC with flavor like they have here. I got the pork soup dumplings and chicken fried noodles. The flavor on the soup dumplings was really good. The noodles were really good also. You could definitely taste the garlic and the hot wok flavor.
The restaurant itself is decorated nicely, it looks very modern. The staff were all friendly also. It's cool to be able to see into the kitchen. I look forward to coming back and trying some more of their dishes.“

“Wow first 5 star reviews in a long time! Our server was wonderful; food delicious and with the lunch values affordable! Ribs appetizer was a standout, always is. It was my birthday and was I surprised with a "live" sparkly candle and banana wonton type dessert with ice cream and fresh fruit. My 2 daughters shared. Just a perfect time all the way around!!! The management is very pr oriented.“

“What happened? This was our go to place for Chinese food!
Our still large steamed dumplings were stuffed into a small container all stuck to each other and the pork was tasteless.
The Mongolian beef was usually served in large tray but now was half the size. Still tasty.
I suggest going back to the way things were or the customer base will disappear quickly.“

“I had a random craving for curry and had recalled seeing Thai Dara 2 when I was in the area a while back. I gave it a shot and I was so pleased. I ordered the panang curry with unspecified spicyness and it was perfection. Great temperature, calming music and gracious hospitality from the host. I think I’ll be craving curry more often :) or I’ll try one of the noodle dishes next time! Thank you for the lovely meal! I felt nourished and cared for.“

“I tried this restaurant for the first time today with one of my groups. They had lunch specials you could choose from. I had their mixed veggie dish which came with white rice and a choice of soup. The veggie dish was good. It had bok choy which I love. I had their sweet and sour soup. I enjoyed that as well. The wait staff was not friendly but warmed up to us at the end.
Since we had a big group, we sat in the big dining room with many tables set up for big parties. There’s plenty of free parking.“

We also like the House chicken with seasonal vegetables.Try the family dinner. It will be enough for three people, four if you're not big eaters.We didn't care for the General's chicken. Maybe we got it on a bad day, we'll try it again. It was overcooked and there was no sauce or vegetables with it. It's the only I've got at Stix that was disappointing.Don't hesitate to try Stix if you haven't been. We like it a lot!“

“I ordered Panda Express for my mom and her caregiver this evening as they were craving Chinese cuisine. They had the orange chicken, beef and broccoli and mushroom chicken with rice and chow mein. “Fast service, fresh ingredients, larger portion sizes than expected. Thought everything was overpriced when looking at the menu, but the portion sizes are considerate and they don’t skimp on meats. The $4.35 extra for chow mein seemed a little egregious but you get almost a meal’s worth of it. Delicious all around! will definitely be back“

“Huge Panda Express fan I eat at Panda 2x/week. What I would say here is that I have never seen a location so protective of it’s fried rice. They give about 1/2 of a normal portion and make sure that not a single grain of rice will go over the lip of the styrofoam. It seems that a 3 item combo here is smaller than a 2 item combo at other locations I frequent.From a management aspect this place is probably very profitable, but I don’t expect to leave hungry after a 3 item combo. I will be going out of my way to visit other panda locations as a result of portions here“

“The place wasn't too busy, but the service and quality is top notch! The sever greeted us and had an amazing attitude. We dined in, and the food was made hot and delicious! Food portions were great, and overall, the pricing was worth it. (Highly recommend the House Special Chow mein).
Parking: Conjoined with a gas station, but it is a restaurant altogether.
