“Googled good places to and good truly isn’t the work for how amazing this pizza is. I ordered the Buffalo wings, which were so crispy and the sauce was mild with the right amount of vinegar taste that good buffalo sauce has. The pizza its self was the star of the show. I ordered the Rosa and the Hawaiian Sicilian style. The pizza dough has a nice soft crunch on the outside and a soft interior, the pepperoni ok the Rosa was the cute cupped pepperoni with are the best kind because they get nice and crispy on the edges, and the Hawaiian pizza was delicious with the pineapple but, I’d skip out on the pineapple syrup it was just too sweet for me. The service was 10/10 I would give 100 starts if I could food got to us quick and the two people in the front extremely nice! Over all 100/10 stars. Highly recommend to eat here don’t even second guess. Oh and they also sell slices if you don’t want a whole pizza. (But I wanted the whole pizza)“

“My daughter took me and the hubby here for our Thanksgiving celebration since she couldn't come home (Sac) for actual Thanksgiving, we went to her. This was a night I won't soon forget! Having a nice meal with our daughter was a treat, the service was amazing and the food....OMG! Every bite of every dish I tasted was so so delicious! “While basking under the golden glow of the twin arches I started to ponder on what my 1st and last meal of the day would be. In a final act of desperation to avoid a maybe it's made of a pink paste meat meal I threw my lot in with a rando food near me search. Lo and behold Simply pasta pops up. And it was super close. As I walked in, I was greeted promptly, the lady was very courteous and helpful. My expectations were not high, but WoW, I was pleasantly surprised. My pasta was cooked perfectly. The spinach in my pasta wasn't just an afterthought. The garlic bread was done right. The soup of the day was like a corn chicken Chowder. Something I was shocked to know that I liked. My green apple drink might be my new addiction. Overall this place is a definite 4.7- 4.8. The meatballs in the pasta were so-so. Other than that I enjoyed my meal.“

“Food: The pasta was fantastic! Tasted fresh and we enjoyed the mushrooms. The appetizers were just okay in my opinion- the grilled halloumi was not crisp and didn't taste fresh off the grill. If I were to go back, I would probably just stick to the pastas.

Service: waiting in line for a bit was understandable, but I agree with other reviewers that they felt understaffed. They didn't really check in on us after seating us, and they timed all the dishes to come out at the same time, which was difficult due to the small table (not everything fit easily on the table). They also charge a 4% fee to provide better wages and/or healthcare to the staff. However, all of the staff was courteous and friendly.

Atmosphere: we ate outside in their parklet, which was nice, although I wish their heaters were a bit stronger. The tables were very close together as well. I felt like I was a part of the conversations on either side of me because they were so close.“

“The food is the best place to start. We ate lightly and didn't order main courses. The gnocchi were outstanding and shouldn't be missed. Also exceptional were the aroncini and the calamari salad. Having been to Italy several times, our group was reminded by the closeness to the authentic tastes of Italy. The dining area is simple but comfortable, and the wooden benches seats and chairs would benefit by having cushions on them. The lengthy wine list is exclusively Italian, and we enjoyed our selections. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated promptly, and we weren't rushed.“

While ordering, fresh focaccia was served in a easy pull apart form. The staff was nice enough to tell us all the specials and recommendations. We decided to order a Pizza (Guido), Eggplant Parmiagania, and Pappardelle Bolognese. Each dish was uniquely delicious, couldn't pick a favorite. Portions were perfect for three people. Super tasty and flavorful. They sell Mole Cola, the Coke-cola of Italy, only much better. The staff and service couldn't be any more outstanding. You can also tell the food was good when they're constantly getting Uber/ Door dash orders. Love the restaurant/ Italian store look. This place could be easily crowded during weekend dinner, but still great for parties more than 2. Try also their cocktails and dessert. Their canoli was a chocolate kind! Definitely will come back and try their different pizza and pasta flavors. Street parking only. Memorable dinner.“

“My experience at Passione Caffè in their gorgeous two-story, well-decorated café at 91 Shattuck Square was simply marvelous. The staff was friendly, quick, and accommodating and the food, drinks, and desserts were delicious! I highly recommend Passione Caffè to those looking for a quick and yummy lunch (or breakfast/brunch everyday), to snack and study, or for an authentic Italian coffee. Don’t miss out on the great happy hour/aperativo deals between 4-7PM! It almost goes without mentioning, but Passione Caffè is absolutely true to its slogan: “A corner of Italy in Berkeley.” From the food and drink to the atmosphere and the service, this is the only truly Italian café I have found in Berkeley! And that comes from over a year of experience living and traveling in Italy! Besides the beautiful architecture and interior design of Passione Caffè—not to mention its convenient location next to Downtown Berkeley BART—I would like to point out some highlights on the menu. The pastas are all made with homemade, organic noodles and made-to-order sauces. The pasta dishes are so fresh and authentic! The spaghetti with meatballs, their only Americanized dish, is to die for! The pizzas also are also made with home-made dough and gluten-free options are offered. Try one with fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula! The fresh panini with Italian meats and cheeses round out the lunch menu. It is possible to have a filling lunch for $7-15, which is definitely reasonably priced by Berkeley standards! A serious final highlight was the artisanal gelato, made in-house by the Italian co-owner, Eleanora Cercatore. “Family 4 dine in. GREAT price for combo dinner. Soup or salad with pasta and drink. Regular plate large enough to split with an appetizer. The shrimp mushroom pasta was an excellent large 25-30 size. They did not cut any corners in fresh shrimp cooked to perfection. All the food was delivered steaming hot. Pasta was cooked, just right, and it was excellent. We also ordered cheesy bread thumbs up. 63$ Cant beat that for fresh hot Italian food we will be back.

“There's some slight confusion because ordering from "Slice of Hollywood" from Eat24, you get pizza from Pizza Nation, but that's no big deal. The food is GOOD. “I ordered an 18" Hawaiian pizza online, so I would have leftovers. It said the pizza would be delivered in about an hour and a half. Ok they are busy. Nope! I got a phone call asking if I wanted it now or later. Now! So it was delivered pretty quickly. The pizza was delicious, and I had pizza for breakfast all weekend 🍕“

“My niece and I stopped here by chance. We were driving home to AZ around dinnertime. We were going to go to a BBQ place but had to turn around as we were going in the wrong direction, when my niece spotted this place. I'm always open to pizza, so we decided to give it a try.
For starters, there is very little parking, but we are able to snag a spot. We went in and couldn't agree on one kind of pizza. We noticed that they had mini ten inch pizzas. So that's what we decided to do, and we each ordered our own. I customized the supreme as I don't care for bacon bits or olives. My niece ordered the barbecue chicken. There's just one small table with four chairs to sit at, so we hung out there while our pizzas were being made.
When they informed us the pizza was ready, we went up to the counter. The pizza box was extremely hot and heavy! When we got out into the car and looked at them, they were huge! It's a very generous ten inch pizza!
Due to the lack of space and parking, we tooled across the street to trader, joe's and ate in their parking lot! The pizza was so loaded and so filling that we each could barely finish three pieces from our respective pizza. I'm very glad we had an ice chest in the car! I just enjoyed leftovers heated up in my air fryer.
I would one hundred percent recommend this place! They have a pizza that is about twenty-eight inches around. I noticed the to go boxes, and one was really big! I think that pizza size is the granddaddy! They also have a Mac daddy!
