“Moved out of San Pablo for awhile, came back and I knew first thing I wanted to eat was the pad Thai, chicken satay and to finish it off a plate of mango w/ sticky rice and coconut milk with a glass of Thai ice tea. Was literally like $35. Pretty cheap for really great food I’ve seen worse prices lol
Also the owners/staff is always always great. Don’t listen to these people they’re not rude, I’ve been coming here since I was 12 years old I’m 24 now. Do I know their names? Nope. do they know me ? Nope. Just go already Jesus Christ. It’s delicious. Don’t get too spicy if you do good luck.“

“We’ve been coming to Noodle 21 for over 5 years now, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots! My husband introduced me to this place, and over time I found my perfect pho order — #21 with thin egg noodles, no bean sprouts, and soup on the side.

Back in August 2024, the original owner told us he was leaving and passing the business on to his partner. He was always so kind, always made time to chat with us, and greeted us warmly every visit. I was pregnant at the time, so sadly, he never got to meet our baby — but we’re happy to say we’ve kept coming back and still love it just as much as day one.

The staff now is just as welcoming. They remember us, they remember our baby, and it truly feels like a place that values its regulars. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is comforting and familiar. We’re so glad this spot continues to thrive, and we look forward to many more meals here as a family.“

Honestly the 4 stars is pretty unfair because the food was great , but it was not spicy at all and they didn’t ask about spice levels when they took our order. “I have been meaning to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. Located in a beautiful white store front the food is just as good as the whole aesthetic of the restaurant.

I got Khao soi curry and a seafood noodle dish. It was fast delicious and fresh.

The service also was incredible. Totally mom and pop vibe where everyone hustles, is friendly and delivers just a great experience.

“This is a hidden gem of a place!!! It's so delightfully cute outside on the patio and the food is scrumptious!!!! The Massaman is crave worthy as I have now had this several times and each time, it doesn't disappoint and you can ask for whatever spice level you can manage. “Sometimes you’re in the mood for Crab Rangoon AND Tom Kha Soup. Both of these dishes exceed expectations at Bangkok Garden. I’ve only ever done take out and have had quite a few of their dishes - all of which have been solid. But their unique and kind of tangy sweet Crab Rangoon and their Tom Kha Soup really are special. I also appreciate how their spice level is consistent and real (like a 2 has some heat to it!). Definitely recommend.“

My daughter spotted this restaurant and we are absolutely in love. Clean, comfortable eating area inside and outside. Variety on the menu and best Thai food we’ve eaten in a long time. Amazing flavors and portions are just right. And let’s not forget the Thai tea, best everrr! Seriously highly recommend for lunch and dinner if you are in the Oakland area.“

To whoever owns this, you are asking too much of your staff. There were 1.5 ppl serving a full restaurant and servicing online and call-in orders. Get them support and please pay them well.“

“Mmmm. I'm so happy to find a Thai restaurant that focuses more on the savory than the sugar to flavor the food. Our meal was delicious. Right away when we walked in the vibe of the place made us feel relaxed and cozy. The vintage juke box in the back corner helped a lot. The proprietors are totally hip and laid back. Somehow our group ordered mild versions of dishes (we all thought the other was a light weight), which turned out to be lucky because the house made chili crunch we were provided to remedy the situation was incredible. We got the pumpkin curry, the eggplant street food thing, and best of all was the Sea Bass dish, but all addictive. We went brown on the rice, and it was perfectly cooked. Several items on the menu were well marked as GF, but they were able to make some items GF that weren't meant to be that way (for one of us who is celiac), and the dishes didn't seem to suffer at all. Can't wait to try the glutenous version. I don't typically write reviews (as you can probably tell) but I do on occasion when I want to support a business I hope will stick around (totally selfish motives).“

“This restaurant was close to my hotel. I was so excited to try their Khao Man Gai ( Thai Chicken Rice). And it didn’t disappoint me. I got the mixed chicken one and order liver on the side. Their sauce is great. The taste is very authentic and reminds me of home. The real Thai chicken rice is served with soup and they do!

I looked around and decided to go for the Won Thai restaurant, ordered the lunch special, fried catfish with rice, on the plate I got a colorful plate with a scoop of steam rice next to pan fried filet of catfish with plenty of green beans, fresh tomato pieces, sautéed on a lite curry sauce and sliced purple and green cabbage garnish.“

“I definitely enjoyed the Mango Fried rice dish along with the garlic noodles. Had Thai Iced Tea, which is always a treat. I did call this order in for pick up. When I got there I had to wait a minute, because they were busy but it wasn't long. They gave me an extra Thai iced tea on the house, I didn't need it. Yet it shows the type of business I'm eating at. The ambiance is very welcoming. The art work on the walls of the culture is beautiful. Service was very slow for our order which seemed pretty straightforward: a soup and padthai. Other guests were served more quickly; people at the next table ordered just before we did, got their food, ate and left beforewe got our food?!? On another note, we were not able to dine on the terrasse since it was a bit chilly and there is only one heater that is broken. Buying more heaters should be made a priority. This said, the food was delicious and tasted very fresh. We all loved it. So highly recommend for the food and maybe ordering as take out, only!“

“Drunken noodles were amazing. Curry chicken was ok. Fried rice was ok. Slightly pricey (almost $3 for a small bowl of white rice). Soup was not very good.

They have a limited and pricey alcohol menu, but the servers know almost nothing about drinks.

If you find the right dish, and aren't looking for drinks, it is an ok place to eat. Servers are friendly.“

We ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and the Gang Khew-Wan (Green Curry).

The Pad Kee Mao was tasty, the flavor leaned slightly toward to a sweeter, tomato flavor side, but it was still enjoyable.

The Green curry came with generous portion and was really flavorful. I especially really liked the eggplants, the texture was great and the seasoning was on spot!“
