“So happy to finally have an authentic French bakery cafe in our town. Their coffees, breads, pastries and quiches are superb and I love it when they add new flavors and items on the menu. Also I think most of their pricing is reasonable given the quality of their ingredients. So they are doing fabulous but here are some additional suggestions from me - -I wish they would do a weekly soup and quiche flavor according to the seasons as they do with desserts. -I would love to see a comprehensible cake list with sizes and prices to be able to order cakes for birthdays and such. -I would love to see opera cake slices as it’s one of my favorites. -Since most items are on the $$ side, it would be great if they let people sample a few of the newer things because people are hesitant to spend money on something they are not sure they would like. “I signed up for my daughter and her dad to attend Macaroon class. Both came back with delicious macaroon and shared their enjoyment experience during the class. Next day, they tried baking Macaroon on their own. Even without having all the proper equipment, they were able to make the Macaroon very soft and delicious. Thank you, Natalie, for having my daughter and her dad in class. The cost for the class is fair ($85/person). I know a lot of people are interested in joining your class. The only issue is the distance is too far from their homes. I wish you will offer more variety of classes throughout the year.“

“Always wanted to go to Lever. I work right near here, and I came here on New Year’s Eve.

It is a very cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult as it is small and tight, but there is parking in the back.

The coffee was great here. Their lavender ice latte was amazing. I believe they are known for their syrups, and I also got to try their orange rosemary syrup. It was unique, but I think the safe bet is to go with the lavender syrup.

It can get very packed here, and they seem to have a smaller staff. Things could move slow, but be patient as it is worth the wait.

“I was craving rice cakes filled with sesame and sugar one day and was ecstatic to find out that one of the best rice cake places in the Bay Area was near me. When I went in around Sunday 7am, the owners were busy making bulk orders but kindly paused to show me a few of their small selections for sale. Sadly, no honey rice cake was available for the day but after asking, they advised to call beforehand to confirm what they have in stock that day since the menu changes each day. It’s a good idea since it seemed like their hours vary based on what I read from the notice on the door. Bring cash.

I picked up two (pictured) rice cakes and they were both warm, soft, and delicious. I will be returning for more.

I really wanted to eat real honey rice cake, not the hard honey rice cake sold at the market, so I looked for it, and luckily, there was a traditional rice cake shop nearby, so I rushed to it in the morning. There was no honey rice cake that day, but I regretfully bought injeolmi and bean rice cake with anko and I was not disappointed. It's the same taste I had in Korea when I was young. I would like to thank the owner who works hard from early in the morning to make delicious rice cakes for Koreans living in other places. I hope you do this for a long time. You are already receiving a lot of love in Northern California, but I hope you prosper even more.“
