Also I think most of their pricing is reasonable given the quality of their ingredients. So they are doing fabulous but here are some additional suggestions from me - -I wish they would do a weekly soup and quiche flavor according to the seasons as they do with desserts. -I would love to see a comprehensible cake list with sizes and prices to be able to order cakes for birthdays and such. -I would love to see opera cake slices as it’s one of my favorites. -Since most items are on the $$ side, it would be great if they let people sample a few of the newer things because people are hesitant to spend money on something they are not sure they would like. “I ordered nearly 300 mochi donuts from Third Culture for an event I was having, and they were FANTASTIC! We got a bunch of almost every flavor they offer, and they were all so good - our guests were raving about them and kept asking where we got them from. “I signed up for my daughter and her dad to attend Macaroon class. Both came back with delicious macaroon and shared their enjoyment experience during the class. Next day, they tried baking Macaroon on their own. Even without having all the proper equipment, they were able to make the Macaroon very soft and delicious. Thank you, Natalie, for having my daughter and her dad in class. The cost for the class is fair ($85/person). I know a lot of people are interested in joining your class. The only issue is the distance is too far from their homes. I wish you will offer more variety of classes throughout the year.“

“Wow the cannolis were amazing! Ordered 4 pistachio and 4 chocolate as dessert for an Italian dinner night. Several people commented that these cannolis are the best they’ve ever had! “I am lucky enough to work with Victor’s mom and once in a while she brings Victor’s cheesecake to work and then I lose my mind! I don’t know if I can find the right words in the English language to do them justice but here it goes! Victor’s cheesecakes are like a cheesecake became the queen of England but it never lost its cool and warmth of a regular person! You still have the cheesecake, the smooth cheese taste and texture we all love but then the cheesecake gets so refined by the flavors that it comes in that you just have to stop after every bite and really taste the bouquet of flavor and sweetness that just makes you sit down and really enjoy it! If Victor lived next to me, I would be 500 lbs! I have loved every flavor I tried but my favorite is definitely hands down ube, and apple, and peach, and pineapple! Never mind, I can’t choose one! “Always wanted to go to Lever. I work right near here, and I came here on New Year’s Eve.

It is a very cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult as it is small and tight, but there is parking in the back.

The coffee was great here. Their lavender ice latte was amazing. I believe they are known for their syrups, and I also got to try their orange rosemary syrup. It was unique, but I think the safe bet is to go with the lavender syrup.

It can get very packed here, and they seem to have a smaller staff. Things could move slow, but be patient as it is worth the wait.

Parking: Limited space so look for parking outside the lot or in the back“

“This was from our last visit to Cakes and Bakes in Dublin to pick up an eggless Butterscotch cake, and it was a great experience overall. The location has ample parking, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot, which made the quick stop even more convenient.

The Butterscotch cake itself was delicious, and we appreciated that they offer an eggless version, which can be hard to find in many bakeries. The cake was rich, moist, and had that classic butterscotch flavor we were looking forward to. Kudos to Cakes and Bakes for catering to those with dietary preferences without compromising on taste!

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, unfortunately, the baker wasn’t available to write a message on the cake. It was a small letdown since we were hoping for a personalized touch, but overall, the quality of the cake and the convenience of the location made it a positive experience. “I was craving rice cakes filled with sesame and sugar one day and was ecstatic to find out that one of the best rice cake places in the Bay Area was near me. When I went in around Sunday 7am, the owners were busy making bulk orders but kindly paused to show me a few of their small selections for sale. Sadly, no honey rice cake was available for the day but after asking, they advised to call beforehand to confirm what they have in stock that day since the menu changes each day. It’s a good idea since it seemed like their hours vary based on what I read from the notice on the door. Bring cash.

I picked up two (pictured) rice cakes and they were both warm, soft, and delicious. I will be returning for more.

I really wanted to eat real honey rice cake, not the hard honey rice cake sold at the market, so I looked for it, and luckily, there was a traditional rice cake shop nearby, so I rushed to it in the morning. There was no honey rice cake that day, but I regretfully bought injeolmi and bean rice cake with anko and I was not disappointed. It's the same taste I had in Korea when I was young. I would like to thank the owner who works hard from early in the morning to make delicious rice cakes for Koreans living in other places. I hope you do this for a long time. You are already receiving a lot of love in Northern California, but I hope you prosper even more.“

In the craziness of preparing for the party, I set the pickup time as the day and time of the party, when I meant to set it for the afternoon of the day before. I arrived at the store to pick up the order when I thought I had set the pickup time for, only to realize my mistake when they couldn't find the order. I was frantic, because my party was the next day, before they would open. The staff was pleasant and generous. They offered to quickly make my order, if I wouldn't mind waiting 15 minutes.
