“Came by at 11:10am on a Sunday and was 14th in line, we were seated by 12:30 which wasn’t too long at all. Service was really amazing, Viet was very tentative to our table and made sure we got all our dishes right away. He even helped by showing us how to cook certain meats and get us some extra chubby sriracha. Would come back again soon!“

“The music was awesome. I loved the workers they were so nice. The food was amazing. I expected that the smoked turkey would be dry but it was incredible, the ribs were so good, the mac and cheese and the beans were so delicious.

“I loved my experience here! The food was amazing and the sauces were delicious. Aaron the owner treated us like family. You must go try it- you will go back again. Bring your own alcohol as they are new and don’t have their liquor license yet.“

“There general cook of the meat was solid. Smokiness and tenderness was spot on. Depending on your preferences the execution on the protein was top notch. However I felt the bbq sauce (medium spice) was very average. If this was better I would have given it five stars.“

“First time my guest and I having dinner at Emil Villa's BBQ. As soon as I exited my vehicle, the smell of the ribs made my mouth start to water. This restaurant is very clean. We were pleasantly greeted with a smile and seated right away. We ordered from the senior menu which prices were senior friendly. You can tell what we ordered just by looking at the photos. The food was very delicious, the salad was crispy and fresh as well as the corn and the baked potato. We were also served complimentary baked beans on the house. I was surprised by the large portions, and for the price it can't be beat! We had plenty of left overs as well ☺️“

“Real, honest BBQ. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket, ribs, mac & cheese and potato salad. Best BBQ I have had since I was in Austin Texas! The owner was working hard with the rest of his employees and was the one to take my order. He seemed very nice and was helpful. I work within walking distance so I can see myself becoming a regular here. Canyons is an excellent addition to Castro Valley's food scene.“

“First visit, weeknight, not crowded. Food very good to excellent. Beet trio appetizer superb. Not clear if the 3 dipping sauces were for beets or brisket but good either way. Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. We shared a flight and each had a glass of bubbly. Portion size good … I had leftovers for breakfast. Server Jeff casual but on the ball with advice. Menu somewhat limited, especially for vegans.“

“Really liked this spot. I like the ordering system. I was greeted warmly by the two employees I initially had contact with. I had the biscuit breakfast sandwich, very filling and the biscuit was so good. I had one pancake and man was that delicious! The parking is also a plus. Will definitely come back to check out other options!“

“What a GEM. One of the best restaurants that represents TRUE SOUL FOOD. I was so pleasantly surprised by the obvious care that was put into every dish I have tried. The gumbo takes you back to Louisiana with its generous portions you can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend this place.“

“I haven't been to Kinder's since 2016 and this food is still amazing. The restaurant/shop is almost the same with the exception of more seasonings and sauces. The original sauce is still the best for the Tri-Tip sandwich. I ordered the tri-tip and the precooked ribs; absolutely amazing!! I purchased the sandwich to have as dinner at SFO but it was late; I waited until the next day and it was still amazing after I reheated it. I also found that I was given an extra side portion of the tri-tip meat on the side. I picked up some extra seasonings that I was not able to find at home (Florida). Was it worth the drive from Sacramento? Absolutely just to pickup some Kinder's; I would do it again in a heartbeat.“

“Excellent concept well executed; super fresh juices and smoothies . Love the idea of happy hour for alcoholic drinks. A couple of suggestions-1. Music (vibe) with a speaker outside? 2. Loyalty/frequency program. Today was my first time; will definitely be back.“

“All right, I had some fresh brewed Italian coffee, which was crazy good and then ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado and it was amazing. The one thing that’s notable is everybody that I saw on their way out said see you later Pearl, and she replied to each one by name. That’s OG right there.
Would highly recommend‼️

“Dublin is my favorite location for YGF malatang. Food is fresh with wonderful service. They have a great selection of items and they also offer ace king bbq. Love the waitress that works here. She is super nice and friendly. They offer Labubu drawing starting August and I got super lucky!!! I got Loyalty ❤️“

“Loved all the protein available- chicken, beef, and lamb. I had mahi fish cassava fries, lamb curry 🤤, and cassava cake! Wife had Rourou w/ tortillas for the vegans. Wait was fair 10-20mins considering it was a busy day. Definitely recommend 🤙“

“I came here from Sacramento visiting family, and boyyyyy let me tell you the foood was so delish I literally never tasted anything so goood in my life especially the bbq chicken and Mac n cheese. I got my mom the California burger and tator tots and she loved it. Everyone was helpful and patient. Definitely would come here again and again.“

“Thank you so much to the staff. The food was comforting and delicious. The banchan was tasty and flavorful, the beef brisket soup is great, the ddukbokgi has a good flavor, the bibimbap has high-quality ingredients, etc. The staff are working hard and more people should come here. My family and I have been here multiple times. The staff were nice enough to take us in 20 minutes before they closed.“

“Our family has known Peni, Sherry,there kids and grandkids for over 12 yrs now. Once I saw and smelled the bbq over 12 yrs ago I gravitated towards it and have been a huge fan since. Their island q is the best on the mainland and I recommend trying it all since I don’t have a favorite. You can see the passion and love that this family puts towards sharing a little bit of their heritage through their food with all of us. I highly recommend giving it a try and definitely passing the word to others. Spend some time and say hi and you might also have friends for life. Mahalo 🤙“
