“At the time of making my reservation didn't show a special Valentines menu. Good selection of food. Was very loud due to small area and cramped tables. I feel that prices were overrated because of Valentines day. I will good to try it again for a date night.“

“I was really impressed and honestly my expectations weren't that high walking in. The wine list had options you don't see everywhere and the bartender actually knew how to talk about each one. My friend ordered the burrata and I got the steak frites, both came out fast and cooked perfectly. I'm picky about steak and this one was genuinely good, juicy and seasoned well. The whole vibe was relaxed too, not pretentious like some places around here. We ended up staying way longer than we planned just because it felt so comfortable. I'll definitely be coming back and already told a few people they have to try it.“

“Had a reservation at The Library Social Club Wine Bar on Thursday, but it was closed when I arrived no notice or update anywhere. Luckily ended up at Residual Sugar Wine Bar instead and it turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, service was friendly, and the wine selection was excellent. Definitely glad I came here instead and will be coming back again.“

“I had the breakfast buffet. It is mostly pre-made with an omelet bar made to order. Food was great quality, seemed fresh. Milk or chocolate milk is included.. It is offered on Saturdays and Sunday mornings..Don't sleep in!! the breakfast ends at 11:00 a.m!!

Parking: There are a few street parking spots but valet parking is $30. If you are just dining you may be able to park in the lot temporarily?? ?

“Great club, very organized and superb teaching philosophy for the game. Their approach resonates well with me and as an avid fan of the game I am very pleased to have my kids in it. In addition, their Futsal club, the Bulldog FC, is one of the best I've ever seen at augmenting the kids' ability to play quick and develop their one-touch passing/skills. The staff is very helpful, friendly and experienced making the club very strong. My kids love it!“

“A hidden gem. Was introduced to this quaint oasis by friends. Since then, it has become one of my favorite haunts. The owner is extremely courteous, very generous and hospitable. We started by going there for dinner but on one occasion wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday for lunch and needed and requested an extended and uninterrupted experience. So we were allowed to stay on beyond the 2:30 pm shut down before dinner in a very cosy and welcoming setting. The host was most attentive when needed but did not try to rush our ordering of lunch menu selections and even suggested to try some new dishes on the menu. I take all my special guests to the bungalow on rose for an exquisite dining experience.“

“After over 30 years, our local czech place (DJ's Bistro in Concord) closed, so we took a longish drive to Pleasanton (45 min each way) to Naschmarkt.

We love good eastern European/German food and given the long drive, we tried a lot of things and took a bunch home. The sausage plate was great with three big sausages, mustard, fantastic potatoes with cucumber and dill, sauerkraut, and red cabage. It was worth the drive just for this sausage plate and pilsner. We did not love the sausage of the day (an English banner with a bit too much bread in it) and will substitute it next time. The arugula and beet salad was wonderful, with generous, perfectly roasted, beets and a well balanced dressing with a good feta. The jägerschnitzel (unbreaded schnitzel with rich mushroom gravy) was fantastic. I got the pork version (they also have veal) and asked for it with spaetzle and sauerkraut. The jägerschnitzel had lots of flavor and there was delicious gravy with plenty of mushrooms. We LOVE good spaetzle and this was among the very best – soft and flavorful, absorbing the gravy perfectly.

They have a full bar with interesting cocktails along with great beers (including dark and pilsner) and wines including Rieslings (a few wonderfully dry). The apple strudel was good, with excellent ice cream (but my Hungarian grandma would not call it “strudel” – it was spiced apple in a puff pastry shell, which was good, but is not “strudel” which has many thin layers of puff pastry and spiced apple). The Fiaker=Double espresso with cherry brandy & whipped cream was perfect. We are looking forward to going back soon.“

“Had such a great experience at Danville wood-Fired Pizza 🍕 The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it even better. The owner is always smiling and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again. Highly recommend if you’re craving good pizza and great service!

“The wine steward is a place you must visit. It was sophisticated with a warm small town feel. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable about wine, spirits, and beers. I especially enjoyed the global variety and inclusiveness to local makers. It was a pleasure to meet one of the owners and taste his fresh baked sourdough bread. Were in the world can you experience a magnificent wine tasting handpicked by the owner on a rotating weekly schedule and get fresh bread he baked that morning!! “I discovered this great gem of a bar during the final Hayward B street block party of the season! The owner was very friendly & the bar tender was amazing! She was working so hard because it was super busy. I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken wings & they were the best I'd ever had. YUM!! They took awhile to come but as I said they were super busy at the time, but they were well worth the wait. Come on down to Blue Crown Bar & Bistro!!“

“The beer here is always good and they always have some sort of nitro dark on tap and that keeps me coming back. The pizza is also quite good. Otherwise, it gets busy with parties and gatherings... and kids can get a little wild. But it's a great spot to grab a beer and hang out if you catch it at the right time. Oh... parking is a bit of a nightmare though. So be prepared to walk a bit or hunt for parking down the street.“
