“We visited this place and had a GREAT TIME and the drinks were very good!!!! Guava kombucha and a German beer (sorry, can't remember the name) the place wasn't crowded, but it felt safe and friendly. Both bartenders provided great service.“

“The girls working were very nice. I ordered a Nutella crepe and added bananas. They asked if I wanted whipping creme and chocolate drizzled on top. It was a good size for my daughter and I to share. I thought it was good and was happy with my order. Crepe was good and fairly thin“

“Their Adobada Mulas (pictured) make it hard for me to quit pork. ?My only weakness to eating pork is these Adobada Mulitas with everything on it. Squeeze extra lime and add that red sauce and you'll thank me later.This is the San Diego staple for late night Mexican food. I feel bad for tourists who come to San Diego and haven't had the chance to try Tacos El Gordo's tacos. It's a must!“

“Ciccia Osteria is a gem of authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Barrio Logan. The chefs, Mario and Francesca, use recipes from Northern Italy and pair them with exquisite wines. They even bake their own panettone, a traditional Christmas cake. The restaurant has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with food made with love. However, parking can be tricky, so I recommend taking an Uber. They accept walk-ins, but make sure to dress warmly in winter, as they only have patio dining.The menu has a variety of dishes to suit every taste, but my personal favorite is the mushroom flan. It is creamy, savory, and simply delicious. I also enjoyed the milanese veal, which was tender and crispy. The smoky old-fashioned cocktail and the roccotta olive oil spread for the fresh bread were also amazing. And of course, I could not resist their lasagne, which was rich and satisfying.Ciccia Osteria is my new go-to place for Italian food in San Diego. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes. If you are looking for a genuine and delightful Italian experience, you should definitely check it out.Ciccia Osteria has earned a Bib Gourmand designation from the Michelin Guide. “This is The best coffee I've ever had. I've been drinking coffee for years and can be a little bit of coffee snob sometimes. The moment I tasted their "Daily Rations" on my tongue, I could easily say that is The Finest cold brew I've had. It's very aromatic and exudes a strong bourbon smell, also very smooth and gentle on your tongue with a little creamy texture. The barista there also let me try other flavors, and each all tasted so good in its own way. I will definitely come back for their cold brew again“

“Came in on a busy Monday but only had to wait 10 mins! Never had been to this place before but was delighted by Sebastian who accommodated us well and who always was checking on us. The food was so good and loved the crepes at the end very yummy veryyyyy yummy!“

“We came in from las vegas and decided to try THE BALBOA SOUTH after hearing good things. We were not disappointed. The overall environment was clean, up beat, and family oriented. The centennial burger was massive and cooked medium the way I like it. The garlic fries, and salt and pepper fries were on point. The dark horse stout awesome!. Okay in done. “Mmm...Cakes is amazing the cakes are to die for!!! A hidden gem in downtown Chula Vista. Luckily my real estate office is next door so I enjoy walking over and getting a delicious smoothie, pastry, and when I really want to indulge I get the delicious Bacon Danish YUM...The staff is extremely friendly as well and the decor is super cute! Much more than cakes. You'll love it.“

“This is a hot dog shop with a Mexican-style exterior.The staff kindly explained about the hot dogs.I ordered two types of hot dogs recommended by the staff.One is a standard hot dog.The seasoning was very simple, and the sauce on top was mild and easy to eat!The other one had onions, coriander, etc. in a sauce containing spices.It's so delicious that even people who don't like coriander can enjoy it! !The bread was also fluffy and soft.The size of the hot dog is not too big and can be eaten by one adult.The French fries were freshly fried and had a bit of spice.The interior of the store was also very cute!Please stop by the store and take a look.“

“This is a great little hidden coffee shop on the outskirts of the community of Paradise Hills. The gentleman who runs the coffee shop is very friendly and welcoming, and his wife is a terrific baker and owner of D Sweets D.That being said, I had a cortado and oat, raisins, cranberries, and walnut D Sweets D cookie. Both cost $4. The cortado was robust yet smooth and rich. It was well balanced and delicious. The cookie I paired with it was amazing. So much so that I told the owner to make sure he gives his wife a big hug the next time he sees her.The coffee shop offers an eclectic collection of furniture and decorations. They offer inside and outside seating. I can see how this place is a neighborhood favorite. When in the area, you know what to do.“

“I was having some work done at nearby Car Audio One, and I walked over to Empanada Spot to kill some time. The shopping center is small and quiet, and I wasn't sure what to expect - but I was very pleasantly surprised!The restaurant was very nice and well maintained or newly renovated. The Empanadas were delicious, as were the salsas (particularly the red Salsas). The Empanadas were a good size, but after initially ordering two I went back to order a third (and then talked myself into a fourth, LOL!).Overall would highly recommend Empanada Spot as a nice 'change of pace' from the normal fast casual dining spots; great food and friendly service made it a great experience.“

“We’re from out of town but were craving some good fish tacos. TJ’s did not disappoint! We got the octopus, ahi tuna, garlic shrimp, taqueso shrimp, and smoked tuna tacos. The octopus and smoked tuna were our favorites! Our server was extremely helpful and provided great service.“

“I’ve been making my own ice cream since I got the Ninja Creami for Christmas. So it was nice to have some from a creamery. I’m also aware of ice cream ingredients and I like that this is on the lighter side.We were able to sample flavors. I ended up getting avocado pistachio. I didn’t taste much avocado, I think it was used as a base for texture. It did have a strong pistachio taste and had bits and pieces of pistachio.My friend got coffee and that was delicious. Had a mocha flavor. We both regret that we didn’t sample Mexican hot chocolate.They also serve drinks. As well as elote! I loved that they offer different cup sizes.“

“One of my favorite gelato store in San Diego, Nado Gelato offers a wide selection of gelato flavors ranging from chocolate to tart flavors like berry & lemon. I personally love all the italian flavors (panna cotta, amaretto and stracciatella) but my personal favorite is the opera (which taste like nutella milk ice cream with bits of hazelnut!) Parking can be a bit of a hassle on the weekends but I like to walk around Coronado before treating myself to a small/kid size gelato at Nado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the service is always friendly & quick. Parking: Street parking Price: $ Recommendation: Opera & Amaretto They do offer coffee but I personally haven't tried it so this review is solely based on their delicious, creamy gelato!“

“For a person who never eats fast food, except In-N-Out Burger. You always have professional staff, kindly making sure your order is always correct. If you never tried In-N-Out burger, I highly recommend it. You have numerous choices when it comes to burgers, but in my opinion in and out there, the only one that’s consistent.“

“Al Pastor Town truely lives up to their name as they offer 5 unique types of Al pastor meats and more. I was there when they opened at noon and got the Al Pastor Roio Burrito.Service was pretty slow but the staff were great. Eventually, I got the burrito and took the most blissful first bite. The burrito was packed with meat where every bite caused juices to come gushing out and cover every taste bud. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, I tried using their 2 sauces: salsa verde (not very spicy) and what I think is mango habanero (spicier). The owner really played matchmaker because the burrito and the sauces was a complete match. 5/5 I'll need to come back and try the rest of the flavors.Atmosphere was great imo but is not for everybody. The place is inside a mart and is not really a place to sit down and dine.“

“We love brunch here - dinner is a different level of service. We were handed a happy hour menu and later told by the server it was not being honored because it's Easter Sunday. Not Michelin Star service to not have a manager address it. Further, our escargot is normally fantastic - but they all had dirt in them this time. We did not report this to service because it seemed like a forgivable anomaly at the time. We'll be back - but probably stick to brunch.“

“We were looking for a good breakfast spot. I had read about this place on another app and was excited to try it out. As someone with Celiac disease, I cannot ingest any amount of gluten. Finding a place that is both safe AND delicious is extremely hard. This place not only met those criteria, but surpassed all of my hopes. The food was AMAZING! So good, that we came back two days later for another round. Quality is there and so is the quantity - the portions are quite substantial! Love the little touches like the fresh flowers on each table. The chef has mad skills!! Everyone is so welcoming and the place itself is super cute. They also have baked goods that looked delicious, but we haven't tried any yet. I'm also looking forward to trying the lunch items and I saw items ordered by others and wanted to try them too. you HAVE to try this place - you will not be disappointed!!“

“Enjoying brunch outside at Feast and Fareway. This is our 2nd visit on our Cornado trip. Today we had the French toast and pancake sampler as well as the blue crab Benedict. So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well!The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!“

“Many have enjoyed the pasta, pizza and salad at Buona Forchetta. My review is on their brunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. It’s not well known that they are offering one of the best brunches in Coronado. We had the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever had. The homemade English muffin and all of the ingredients were top notch. The restaurant was empty on a Friday morning so I think it’s time that the word got out that just a short walk from Orange Avenue, there is an outstanding brunch with a varied innovative menu! We very much enjoyed it!“

Salud was communicative and helpful throughout the planning process, helping us to figure out that the full service option was the best option for our guest count and location. The tacos were absolutely delicious, and our guests have continued to rave about them. We highly recommend the carne asada, pollo asado, and veggie options, but I'm sure they're all equally delicious. The staff and servers were also so friendly and a joy to work with. “National City & the South Bay area are quickly becoming a foodie paradise. This place is new to me but I really liked their menu options. We had a unique Sushi n Gone roll, some delicious soup & a nice side salad. Come early because parking is limited during peak hours. Family friendly tho they do serve beer. Great staff.“

“I love this place! They serve craft beer, my favorite one is the Irish red, the place is decked out in Star Wars memorabilia, and they have unique art pieces on the walls. The place is quaint just like I like, they have a monthly reggae night on the 3rd Saturday of the month, and they have different art shows, bands, DJs, so you can definitely ask about booking your band/DJ! The other unique thing they have here is ice cream made in house infused with the beer they brew! So they basically have craft beer and icecream! Just recently, they started serving Kombucha! It's delicious! Best tasting kombucha ever! Brewed in house! Give this place a try they have something for everyone!“

“Went for the coffee got two different ones to try both were very good, got three different burritos all felt / tastes homemade which I appreciated. Parking was a little tough and it's not very big not a lot of places to sit but the coffee shop itself was super cute. Got everything we ordered pretty quickly would definitely do again.“

Each item in the bowl had been seasoned to be an individual flavor but they all worked well together in the dish. “Out again with my mother for brunch on this beautiful sunny day in san diego, the cajeta latte and iced coffee called my name. Place is cute and comfy with great customer service and the server was attentive and accommodated us very well. The hot cajeta latte was delicious accompanied by a small biscuit nice and creamy with a well balanced flavor. The chavo del 8 torta was also a big hit french fries nicely seasoned and crispy. We finished it off with a cajeta banana and strawberry crepe which was also delicious not too sweet and not too overpowering which was great as a dessert I will most definitely be coming back to try more from their menu.“

“Stumbled upon this coffee shop on a Saturday morning as I was meeting a friend for a morning walk. This coffee shop is located in the city of Bonita right next to the golf course. It has a small parking lot that can get filled quite fast but we were there early in the morning and found a space right away. We walked in and there is two people ahead of us. The line moved up pretty fast and we ordered our coffee. Customer Service was excellent and the coffee was delicious. I will be coming back the next time I'm in the area.“

“!! Cash only!! Delicious ice cream with unique flavors! The ice cream was light, flavorful, and not too sweet. More on the icy side than the creamy side as Mexican ice cream tends to be (compared to American). I got two scoops for $6. Guava has strong flavor. It was much sweeter than the rice pudding which I preferred. Rice pudding even had flakes on cinnamon in it. On a Sunday afternoon, no line but there were other customers. The singular person working behind the counter was very friendly and gave us samples to try. There are two small tables outside, none inside.“

“We're always looking for great Sunday brunch places. Adding this one to the list! Great mix of food choices with a modern fusion atmosphere. They also change the menu every 90 days which adds to the right of options each time you visit.“

“The pad Thai was amazing and very flavorful. We also had pad se ew and that was also good. My husband's biggest complaint was we got an order of sticky rice and it was not sticky rice- it was steamed rice and a big let down when we got home. I'm not saying it broke his heart... but he was pretty upset. But pad Thai and pad se ew was yummy“

“One of my go-to coffee shops that I visit monthly to get freshly roasted beans. They have a long list of coffee beans, along with roasting dates and a little backstory on the production of the coffee beans itself. They even sell 5lb bottles of coffee beans. Their prices are reasonable compared to other roasters in SD.Parking: They have only a handful of parking spots inside but there is a good amount of street parking.“

“Probably the healthiest grab-and-go option on the beach! Service was fast and friendly. The ceviche was delicious and fresh. The inside of the restaurant was cute and clean, but it's so close to the beach that I found a bench with an ocean view to eat at. I want to try the shrimp tacos next.“

“It was a great experience visiting Luna Grill. I was ordering for several people, to be dropped off at different locations, and they had no problem bagging things separately. The manager, Roman, worked with me closely to create a safe dish for allergies, including subbing out the pita bread for extra rice. We will definitely visit again!The restaurant was clean. There was a short wait in line when we visited around 2pm, but no line after that. Two of the drink options were out of order.“

“This is an amazing hole-in-the-wall Cafe. It's run by mom and pop with amazing and tasty pastries. I'm a big fan of their empanadas. They come in beef and chicken. Soooooo yummy and flavorful! The kind lady that runs this Cafe is so so sweet and so welcoming. I've only went twice so far because I was craving empanadas and the place I usually go to ran out, and the kind lady remembered me from just meeting me once. She's so sweet. And everything else is just as amazing. So instead of the other place I usually went to, I'm only going here from now on!!!“

“This food truck is a hidden gem in Chula Vista! You can see just how juicy and tender the chicken and beef were in the picture! I usually drive to San Diego to eat mediterranean food because there isn't many options in CV. But now that I found this place, it will definitely be my go to. The meat is flavorful, the pita bread is fluffy, and the tabouli tastes fresh! There's not a long wait time and the service is nice. My only complaint is that I wish they gave more tabouli. Nonetheless, this place is delicious and I recommend getting their garlic sauce too to top off your meal. I will for sure be going more often and trying more things on the menu!“

“Located on the strip. Cute spot with a diner feel. It was perfect after being on the beach with the kids. They had a variety of ice cream, soda pop, and treats like cookies and donuts. I got the sundae with 3 flavors, brownie batter, coffee and banana Nutella. It was covered with fudge, nuts, whip cream and 3 cherries. It was perfect! The service was great, the made sure the line got down quick by helping each other with customer. We had a large order and they on it! I recommend this spot!“

“Wow!! Incredible. The best lobster roll I’ve ever had, the lobster was excellently seasoned and the roll melted in your mouth. I love the beans and coleslaw as well. Good pairing! The server Seth was so kind and made the experience so great. Also, love the lobster bisque and clam chowder.“

“I've known the owners over the last decade and the place has gone through a lot of change in a positive way. The business survived the COVID shutdown and is thriving again.
