“I was recently in the Imperial Beach area and stopped by Trident Coffee. I went with the breakfast burrito which was made with a Gluten Free Tortilla, eggs, sausage, cheese, hash browns, garlic, and onion. It was absolutely delicious. I really appreciated how the ingredients were chopped up really small. They also had chipotle mayo available on the side but I did not try that.
For the coffee, I went with a decaf salted caramel mocha iced cold brew with oat milk, 15/10. So good.
The service was great, the gals working at the register were so nice. In addition, the place was very clean. My total for the two items, including tax was $23.67.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be stopping by.“

“This is a great stop to make if you are looking for some awesome fish tacos. It is off the beaten path of downtown SD, but worth the trip. Very small seating area and you may have to wait, but worth it! Nice staff and service.“

“We had awesome service by Dern! He was polite, friendly and outgoing. (Killer now tie too!) He made our experience so fun! I even witnessed his care for his customers as I watched him ensure an elderly man did not fall walking to the bathroom. Also, he seemed to interact positively with his teammates too. Thanks Dern! The facility and restrooms were clean. It was like stepping back in time. There are a lot of nostalgic things to take in. My husband and I split a classic hamburger, crinkle fries and a strawberry malt. All of it was delicious. My husband said, “if we lived here, I’d be a regular.”“

“First time here, just wanted to say these empanadas were delicious. I got the Shrimp/Cheese and Birria/ Queso. Pesto Salad amazing. 10/10

“Acqua Farina was amazing! Delicious food, a very special vinegar, incredible pasta and sauce, and wonderful fresh bread. The atmosphere, music, and friendly staff made it even better. Roberto, Cristiano, and Anel were the best servers ever—so attentive and helpful, and they made our first visit truly special. We loved the place and can’t wait to come back!“

“A great little French “bistro”. The menu is varied enough for most. I had the curry chicken salad which was perfectly flavored. Portion size was generous. My husband had a bacon panino with a suave of fresh fruit. The fruit was really fresh and ripe. We couldn’t resist dessert - they have a large display of very delectable desserts. The coffee was perfect - strong without any bitterness. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive and offered me coffee to go. I highly recommend this little gem. While we didn’t drink, the table next to us ordered several bottles of wine.“

“Dog friendly with outside seating. We ordered two EPIC hot lobster rolls (Connecticut style, warm with butter) and although they were delicious, for the EPIC PRICE OF $39 PER ROLL, it was very skimpy compared to what you get for that price in New England. They stack it high in the middle and don’t fill the bun to the ends to make it look super full. It’s not. The New England clam chowder was great though.“

“the food at alberto's taco shop was really good the service was amazing they're all all the people there are so nice and kind the only thing that i didn't really like is that they always have music but i don't really like that i wish they had the music a little bit higher. But overall it was amazing. my visits there i've always eaten lunch there and ended up taking dinner.“

“Great and very low key bar. Do not put yourself high expectations for this bar. They do meet my basic needs: close to my home, free sports on TV to watch with beers or seltzer drinks with some complimentary snacks.
I do wish they serve appetizers such as wings, fries, or something. Other than that, super mellow vibe and cleanliness bar.“
