“My guilty pleasure is to go on the weekends to get pizza and buffalo wings at this place. The wings are a bit dry, and more often than not, it's more fat than meat, but with a bit of extra sauce, it's golden. The pizza is thick and flavorful, for the price is not bad. It's definitely worth trying at least once!

Parking: The location is within a plaza, so there's an abundance of parking spaces.“

“I first met Mario, the owner, when he was selling pizza outside the brewery I worked at many, many years ago. Followed him as he helped open The Friendly up the block, and finally I'm stoked he's brought his talent to Chula Vista, my hometown. The burgers are my favorite, consistent and great, my wife and I always share a side of fires, and they're fresh and plenty for two to share. Crispy and juicy burgers with fresh vegetables and made how you ask. The chopped beef sandwich is super good, and the pizza is true to its NY style. All affordable, all legit.“

“My son and I drive 27 miles (one way) to Rosa Giant Pizza in Chula Vista every Saturday for lunch, the food is really THAT good! We have been regular customers for more than two decades. The super sub sandwiches and pizza are the best in the County.“

“Good fresh pizza that you can purchase by the slice or purchase the entire pie. The have an $11.00 special where you can get two slices of pizza and a soft drink. I believe for the dollars more you can upgrade to one beer. They usually have 10 different pizzas available and you can eat inside out outside in their large patio. Not the most cleanest feeling place but the pizzas are great. They also go sandwiches and pasta dishes but I can't comment on those as I haven't tried them yet. Good place to eat just before you go out to the beach to watch the sun set.“

“After reading multiple reviews for pizza in the area, we decided to try Bambino’s. I called on a Saturday evening about 5:45 for a medium Hawaiian. The grilled that answered the phone was brusque and businesslike, and took my order quickly and accurately. Not a lot of pleasantries, but she didn’t appear rude.

The neighborhood of the store was a little off putting. Bars on the home windows, and a junkie or two on the parking lot at the convenience store next door.

Inside of the shop appeared clean and smelled like good food. Cashier was again brusque, but that is okay because my pizza was handed out quickly and I was on my way.

Pizza was very, very good! Toppings were plentiful, crust was just the right amount of chew and crisp, and pizza was nice and hot! We very much enjoyed the entire pizza. The hope pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese packets were a welcome touch!“

“Where do I begin!? Bambino's deserves so much support from us in Chula Vista! Because Bambino's truly cares about their community! They generously donated to our local, essential workers during the pandemic...on numerous occasions. The owner Wally & son Louis are the kindest people and hold such high values on running their business. The customer service & food quality is unmatched! Bambino's provided us pizza at Mater Dei Catholic High School football games for the past 5 games!! We plan to continue the partnership as they are so accommodating & easy to work with! “I placed an order for a large pizza over the phone and the guy at the cash register told me it'll be ready in 10-15 minutes and he was right!! :DD I was pleased with the customer service. When I got there 5-min or so after calling, I paid while waiting and a large pizza was a total of $8.69 (including tax). When I ate it at home, the pizza was very good!!! It has the perfect amount of all the classic ingredients!! If you end up re-heating some slices at a later time, I suggest you soak a table napkin with water then put it with the pizza in the microwave so the crust is soft when it's heated up!! :DDD“

“Delicious pizza at an affordable price. Tasty’s has been our lifesaver for a multitude of friend gatherings. Their staff has always been attentive and kind to us whenever we came in, even on days where they were clearly busy. I wish I got the lady’s name who helped us recently, but she noticed that we were carrying a few small groceries in our hands when we came over to pick up our order. She got us a bag so that we had our hands free for our carry out, along with our soda purchase. It was such a small gesture, but meant a lot to us to be taken care of in that way by a stranger who did not have to, but did anyway. Will always come back here!“

“This is a small family owned pizza shop for take out only. It is good for a quick dinner. Food is always prepared quickly and decently priced! Every time I've ordered it's ready in 15 minutes, I usually call my order in. Love the garlic bread sticks. The pizza is basic but good and made to order. The sub sandwiches come with lots of veggies. I wasn't expecting the peppers and veggies in a pastrami sub. No indoor dinning, lots of parking.“

“I DO recommend Pizza Port, however their pizza is not consistent. You can definitely tell if they are busy or not, the quality goes down. A few weeks ago the pizza was delicious, beautiful even (I wish I would have taken a picture) lol. Today, not so much , picture included. I will continue to eat here just hoping the pizza becomes more consistent“
