“They clearly take tremendous pleasure in their store and merchandise. The Italian grinder and the pastrami on a baguette that we had were both excellent. We'll definitely start stopping here frequently on our way to the beach to pick up sandwiches.“

“Drove a long way to get here as I couldn’t find a baked potato anywhere else. The mega potato was delicious, although the potato skin wasn’t at all crispy (I prefer baked potatoes with crispy skin). Toppings were good. Steak sandwich had enough meat but was somehow strangely sweet which I very much dislike in savory food. Won’t be ordering that again but would come back for the potatoes if I can’t find a better place. FYI the place is located in a really run down part of town with a lot of homeless people walking around. I wouldn’t bring kids anywhere near here. This is definitely a dive in a seedy area but it’s still worth checking out.“

“As a former Marylander, I am so glad that Charley's Cheesesteaks was brought to California. I remember this food chain from the East Coast, and I was told from a local Californian that they never heard of this place before so that's why I know Charley's is rather new on the West Coast.“

“Today I walked into subway I was dripping wet from the rain literally my shirt was drenched and I had my EBT card out ready to pay for the two cups of soup and the nice lady came to ring me up and said " your all wet" I said "I know it's ok" she said let me buy your soup for you ...that was really nice of her to do that ...so thanks again to the lady who works at Subway on Grand and Edinger!! There aren't very many people who do that around now a days.“

We ordered the grilled pork sandwich & a milk tea. The bread was fresh & Crusty on the outside & soft on the inside. Pork was delicately seasoned & the herbs were fresh! I came to this one late at night 6 minutes before closing time, i figured they would tell me they were closed or atleast be rude, to my surprise the young man was nice and polite. “I stopped by while shopping with my son, who was visiting the US mainland for the first time.The female staff member at the counter was very kind and listened to my son's unfamiliar orders as he could not speak English. “I am very pleased with the dining room remodel here. I love the green and yellow neon Subway “S” on the wall. The workers made me and my friend feel well taken care of. We will gladly return. Even though I live on the other side of Santa Ana, this restaurant is worth the trip.“
