“These are hands down the best carnitas tacos in Santa Cruz. No question. I don’t want to hear any debate. The carnitas were crackly/crispy on the outside and soft/tender on the inside. The quality here is leagues above everything else in Santa Cruz. This place is better than pretty much anything you will find in the South Bay as well which is saying a lot.“

“We came in on a Sunday morning, and this place was very busy. The nice young guy behind the counter was patient and sweet to everybody even though he was working alone and getting slammed. The food was good and the coffee was hot. Props to that guy for holding it down!“

Amazing customer service, if I send in my sandwich order but then get busy at work and can't make it by the time the sandwich is ready, I'll call to let them know. No call centers! No AI helper running everything! “I haven't had Five Guys in over 13 years. The first time I tried Five Guys was in Sacramento and I absolutely hated it! But this location in Santa Cruz hit the spot! The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and the grilled onions, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and pickles were great additions that complimented the burger very well. Way better than The Habit! We ordered online/delivery and there was a special buy one cheeseburger get one free. You can't beat that! I highly recommend this Five Guys.“

“I was blown away by the customer service I experienced. Devante (hope I spelled it right) was amazing. Cheerful, punctual, helpful and relatable to the customers. I felt in need to acknowledge him for outstanding service. I have never seen anyone be so professional in this role. Consider yourself lucky if you come in and he’s working.“

“Food pricing is gotten out of budget. Tried to alert them that their bathroom is out of compliance and they didn't seem to understand. The food was good and hot. They weren't going to give me any numbers to call for it so I will be forcer to seek further action thru the courts“

“We only started eating at McDonalds about a year ago when we were traveling. Over that time, one of the things we have noticed is the food is fairly consistent in quality and taste. So, what sets one McDonalds apart from another one? The customer service!

We found the employees here, to be very nice! At a lot of McDonalds, they try to avoid taking your order and point you to a kiosk. Not at this one! When we walked in, there was someone who came over to the register and asked us what we would like. Quite refreshing!

Also, they were really busy, and the empty tables were dirty. So, we went over and asked for a towel to clean one, and the employee (we think the manager) came right over and cleaned it for us. They also went and cleaned others tables after ours, which we didn't expect.

Overall, the food is what you would expect from a McDonalds, but the service is great“

“My family and I recently went to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk and we ate lunch here. I had a corn dog and a few garlic fries! Both were delicious but if you don’t like a lot of garlic I would recommend not to order the garlic fries because they are loaded with garlic! Garlic lovers will find them perfect for a snack though!
I’d definitely eat here again!“

“I work at a different subway location than this, I thought that I’d stop by and check it out. I asked the lady behind the counter for employee discount and she said no which is completely fine because you’re technically not supposed to use it unless you’re on the clock. She was pretty slow but it’s fine because the sandwich was good. But the problem I had was with the other coworker. There was the older lady behind the counter doing all the work, and there was a younger teenager girl just sitting in the lobby on her phone. I watched the older lady make about 12 sandwiches by herself in the 20 minutes period that I was there. And I know that break times are 15 minutes long. Overall food was alright, and that girl needs to be fired“
