So I returned to KFC location and spoke with Ariana, I expressed my concern, and she asked me what I wanted to replace it with, I said 5 pieces of legs and thighs. She took my bucket of 5 pieces and brought back 12 pieces of legs and thighs in my bucket PERFECTLY DONE. WOW, I said thank you very much, I didn't excpect that. At first I thought the place was sketchy at first but most good places do lol Franchise chicken places hardly have any meat on their chicken and the grocery stores always make their chicken too salty. TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME HERE! Went here one day for a chicken plate and the pieces had plenty of meat, hardly greasy, lightly seasoned, and overall tasted like good ol home cooking 🤤. Just came here again to try their fish and shrimp and again, it was excellent. Most fish and shrimp places drown their fish in thick bread-like batter that makes you feel sick in a few bites. Here however, the fish and shrimp are fried in a seasoned thin peppery flour mix, basically a thin batter 🤤. I don't think I can go anywhere else for fried chicken and fish. JUST BE SURE TO AIR OUT THE FOOD TO LET IT COOL DOWN WHEN YOU GET IT!! YES! ITS THAT FRESH! AND THAT GOOD!“

“Their chicken rice is legit good. If you're looking for SG/hawker style, I've gone to a LOT of chicken rice places in this city, this is my #1.

The rice and the chili are on point. My only nitpicks are that the rice could be a little drier with longer grain, and the chili consistency is a bit too smooth for my taste.

Portions are very generous.

It's actually their fried chicken that somehow stands out the most, it is extremely good.“

“Best grilled chicken. I drive from redondo just to come here. The prices are insanely reasonable. I always get the 2 chicken combo with sides or 3 chicken combo if I have guests over my house. The sides are incredible too. The rice has a corn finish to it with perfect taste, no salt needed as it’s seasoned perfectly. I’m not a fan of beans but they’re very similar to my grandmothers (they’re not fried beans). The potato salad is addicting too, it’s really my guilty pleasure and the last thing we run out off. I had an amazing experience at this Juan Pollo! The food was absolutely delicious — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. The sides were fresh and flavorful, especially the potato salad, which has to be the BEST potato salad out there.

Was reading some of the reviews saying there's no flavor? I don't know, maybe I've become such an old man👴🏻 now, I thought it was good. Not over-the-top. Someone said they barely gave any cheese over the fries? My observation was that they meticulously layered the cheese, so that it wasn't just a giant slab on top with nothing on the bottom. I've never been to any other restaurant that goes through that level of detail to make sure the right amount of cheese is evenly distributed across the fries like that! “Great price for their combo meals.

We got 2 order of the combo wings. The combo comes with 1 medium size pizza, 12 wings, and 1 liter soda of choice.

You’re able to choose 2 sauces for the wings and we got mango habanero, lemon pepper, honey garlic, and something else. For the pizza, we got bulgogi and Hawaiian.

On top of that I ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup which was pretty good. However, there were only like 6 dumplings and lots of rice cake that couldn’t be finished. Towards the end of the soup, it started getting a bit saltier as well.

The price you pay for the amount of food you get is decent. Flavors are good as well. I think the only complaint is that they drench their chicken in sauce which isn’t my preference when eating Korean fried chicken.“

We ordered the combo set for three people- boneless half & half chicken, cheese balls, sweet potato fries, and tteokbokki. I honestly didn’t expect much from the tteokbokki, but it was way better than I thought! Just a heads up though, it might be a little too spicy for some people- proceed with caution!

Parking: There’s plenty of parking when you can’t find street parking go to the back of steel craft there’s parking lot there and also plenty of parking by City Library of course a little walk but it’s worth it! There’s also parking across the street behind the business there too there’s another parking lot ?️ like I said just a little walk but definitely worth enjoying what Bellflower has to offer with all it’s restaurants so close by.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food options for kiddos and space to walk or dance to music ? plus which kiddo doesn’t like fries especially crinkle cut fries and burgers

Wheelchair accessibility: I have a walker and I was able to get around comfortably and safely around while ordering my food and picking it up when ready and sitting while enjoying the band and people dancing. Bathrooms are accessible too!“

“Legend Hot Chicken is a really good chicken place! Think of it as a Korean Cane's (their LHC sauce = Canes sauce).

The waitress Luna was very friendly, amazing, polite, and helped me choose what flavors to get and items to get based on popularity. (Honey bee is popular, but I prefer Sweet and Spicy).

Wait time doesn't take long, usually about 15 minutes. The chicken wings and tenders are cooked fully and they are loaded for the sauce. Definitely, recommend the combos as you get a lot of food for the money.

I look forward to coming back here and trying out the other flavors.
