There's fun decor inside and looks like a place where people can hang out or get some reading and/or work done. I only got an Americano or drip from here (with added cream), so I can't really speak to the food items or any of the more complex, possibly more sugary drinks here. It looks like they roast their own beans here as well. I had a lot of coffee at home at the time of my visit, so I didn't buy a bag. I might have to come back and grab one. Parking was easy to find. There's a lot on the side of the building. If the lot is full, I'm pretty sure you could find street parking close by.“
“My family and I are visiting California from Hawaii, and we wanted to find a coffee place near our hotel so I told them we should try this place. We got the hot chocolate, cafe latte, salted caramel latte, oreo latte, and croffles. Everything was carefully curated and tasted really good. Definitely will come here again during our stay!“

The top of the cup was very ergonomic which made for a pleasant drinking experience. Solid location with other food spots and a nice outdoor sitting area.I’d definitely come back here again to try other menu items. Parking was limited to street but overall a great coffee spot.“
“East LA has been gradually building up its go to spots for coffee. Don't be fooled into the usual corporate SB -- no. If you need a boost, Mugs delivers. With great customer care, and a varied menu of drinks; how did they get a champurrado latte to work? They did and it's amazing. I always try a latte as a measure of an establishment's ability to prep a clean drink; Mugs has a great machine that delivers the taste and froth. I'm done with the others and filling mine at MUGS :)“

“It's nice to see third wave coffee spreading into the deepest recesses of Orange County. Twas not too long ago when all you could find along this stretch of freeway was Starbucks and Donut spots, which, I may add, always have terrible coffee so some reason. Anyway, my cappuccino was perfect, the decor is millennial minimalism coffee shop style. Not sure I would ever have cause to take a meeting or hang out here but I would.“

“I was so excited when I found this local roaster on Yelp, and to my surprise, Pacific Beans completely exceeded my expectations! To give you some background on my coffee preferences, I love purchasing single-origin coffee beans to make pour overs at home using my Hario V60. I usually buy online from highly reputable roasters such as Onyx Coffee Lab and Black and White Roasters. This local roaster is almost on that same level without having to pay for shipping or steep mark-ups. About a month ago, I purchased three coffee bean offerings from them (two in person and one online), and they were all amazing. I'm impartial to naturally processed Ethiopian beans, but I had to try the Indonesian offering, and it didn't disappoint! I did wish that the Indonesian offering was roasted lighter to get more of the fruity notes, because those beans seemed to grind finer than the other offerings I purchased. I also tried their El Paraiso and their Santa Lucia Gesha - both were amazing and complex in their own ways. I love that they didn't over-roast these beans and that they roast in small batches to ensure that you'll pick up a fresh bag. The exotic, fruity flavors really come out in these beans, and I was able to taste all the notes they had listed on the packaging (especially the El Paraiso, which was by far my favorite - the lychee notes were so prominent in that one!) Best of all, you can call ahead and place your order, and they'll roast it for you the next day. You can also order online on their website, and they'll ship it to you for free. They have a selection of freshly roasted beans on stock as well, if you're looking to pick up something quick. In person, service was very friendly and helpful. It is quiet, and the location is a bit hard to find (it's along an alley away from the busy traffic of Beach Blvd). It is quiet in there since their cafe is closed, but you can still visit during open hours to buy beans.“

My only complaint is that the croissants aren't flaky, but that's getting really nitpicky. “Stopped by on a Friday morning and this place was popping. Very friendly staff greeted me and the line went quick. Cold brew is super smooth and the breakfast burrito (BLUE?!?!) is bomb. Got the steak with green salsa. Omgggg it’s good. Worth the slight wait I had for sure.“

“Great coffee at the Bellflower location and at home. Bought a bag of their coffee to make at home and it was fantastic. Location at SteelCraft Bellflower is great, one barrista in particular always makes the coffee spot on perfect! Overall, great place. Props to the barristas who are mostly running shifts solo in the mornings and make it happen for customers.“
“Rhe service is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very peaceful. The food is great here, I had the French toast it was very tasteful with the fruit and honey on top. I always get the "love you berry matcha" it's very good probably one of the best match teas I've ever had. I give this place a 10/10.“
