“I’m very upset with all the changes that whole foods has changed since Amazon purchased the company. They used to allow customers to purchase drinks and drink them at the bar, which brought lots of traffic to the area but unfortunately they do not allow that option no more.Susan made our visit to whole foods worth our time. A blue-collar, workin’ man’s bar, Joe owned the place, Yvonne ran it .. bartenders were cool, drinks tasty and cheap, locals tight and friendly .. and this place just immediately felt like ‘Home.’ Over the years, we ate, drank, smoked, joked, sang and screwed our way thru some damn good times!! In 3 1/2 decades, regulars who became dear friends have come, gone .. many passing away. But does the heart good to know the same cool ‘locals vibe’ is alive and well .. and new generations are finding appreciation for what is still, the best kept secret in town. My respect… ??“

“Food is excellent - pricey but well worth the money. Overall service also excellent as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant. Servers very attentive and courses are perfectly paced. We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

“Food and drinks here are always great. Sometimes the wait is long because there aren't enough servers. Poke nachos are a must at every visit. I'm not really sure why they give you a salad serving fork to eat with. It's meant for giants I guess. It's ridiculous.“

“We went there yesterday to celebrate the 85th birthday of my sister. We were a party of 8, which included her 3 sons. We each enjoyed our specific orders, service was prompt and everyone we dealt with was attentive. What really stood out, though was the attentive and exceptional service we got from our waitress, Jennifer. She was always cheerful, moved fast, and what impressed me the most was how she constantly checked if we needed anything, and she was there with refills for our drinks even before we can ask for one! Wow, I was super impressed! I had never seen a waitress that awesome in any of the restaurants I’ve eaten, here in the US or even abroad! Way to go, Jennifer! I hope your employers know how lucky they are to have you!“

“Had a great time my first time there. It looked the the kind of place a fight might break out. But everyone was super cool and friendly. Had lots of fun playing pool and drinking beer. They had a great DJ on Saturday night that had the crowd dancing and having a great time.“
