“Great restaurant to watch sunset. Food was also great. We started with Calamari. As usual, Calamari was well cooked; fluffy and soft. We had Seafood Pasta, Pan Seared Seabass, and Sesame-Crusted Seared Ahi for our main course. They were all delicious. Great ambience and sunset was perfect, I guess we picked the right day.“
“Marshall emphatically answers the question of "Where is the MEAT?" And, so well cooked. (They had their BBQ grill going in their front yard. Hot on the spot.) This place is one of the most "Down Home" joints I've eaten in many moons. Their best efforts are in the food, which is really appreciated.I stopped for lunch at 1pm, and most of the orders were take-out from the working folks in the area. That tells you most of what you need to know. They know which places are best. The eat-in-area is as it would have been in 1960, but who cares when the food is top drawer? I had the best TriTip with BBQ beans and cole slaw. Superb. If you are looking for the best BBQ in Ventura, I suspect this place is Top-3. I say that only because I have a few places yet to visit. I promise that you will LOVE the food here.“
“Quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel appreciated. Food has always been great.Vegetarian options: My wife and daughter are vegetarian. Staff is always willing to adjust any meal to accommodate.“
“The lemon kebob chicken plate was so so delicious, the salad was very fresh and healthy. The cooks did a great job. My server was Estevan who was very helpful and professional and so was the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Luna Grill.“
“Great fresh fish expertly butchered. That's what I look for in a sushi parlor first and foremost. The assorted sashimi plate was delectable. Rolls were flavorful with great mouthfeel, alternatively crunchy, creamy, salty, umami. Nummy! Miso was bleh but the cucumber salad lept out of the bowl. Mussels were very good if you like Mussels.“
“As a Boston born and bred American, it’s truly difficult to find actual authentic Mom and Pops spots on the West Coast, as in can count on one hand the total in California. Had the surprise of my life today when walking into Sandwich Man!! Not only the quality, but the atmosphere!! I immediately felt like I was back in Boston, treated like a friend not a customer, and the Italian sub was UNBELIEVABLE. I don’t say this lightly, but this is THE BEST SUB PLACE ON THE ENTIRE WEAT COAST ????“
“The team is always really friendly and hardworking - I’ve been meaning to hop on here and leave a review. My family enjoys the pizzas - we’ll often take a large pizza to go and we can all add the toppings we want at home. It ends up being one of our favorite pizzas in town.“
“This restaurant is a gem. We rediscovered it after a long time away. The service is EXCELLENT! The ambiance is wonderful. You can tell the owner cares about his customers and his staff. The food is delicious! We had the meatball appetizer, various pasta dishes with oil and garlic or basil. Also the eggplant and policastro were yummy. Wine list is well thought out and reasonable. Got to try it! Make a reservation“
“I have been going to urbane cafe for about 2 years now, at least once a month if not more. Their salmon bowl is what really got me hooked but at the Camarillo Daily Dr location I had a frustrating experience with one of the staff not wanting to accommodate the salmon salad to my food allergy. Previous experiences I have had with a young man he has gladly changed the dish for me. This is the type of customer service I am used to from them. I am disappointed by my visit today to say the least, I still love Urbane and 99% of their staff. Please be kinder to people who have allergies, we still want to enjoy food just as much as other people.Dietary restrictions: won't accommodate for allergies“
“The food was good, but I didn't enjoy my meal as much as I hoped to. The salad was just okay. The vinaigrette tasted unexpectedly sour. Not it's usual good tangy flavor. I ordered the bbq tri tip sandwich. The meat was tender and thinly sliced but no taste of bbq. I was disappointed with that. Service was good, no complaints there.“
“My only true complaint about this Lazy Dog is that it's not closer to where I live. I love Lazy Dog but there's none in the north 818 so if Ive got a craving, I gotta jump on the 101 and drive up to Oxnard. The staff here is always nothing short of wonderful. They're always friendly, helpful, accommodating for a family with 3 small kids, and in the rare instance that there's a delay in the food coming out or a mistake, they're quick to apologize and make good. It's something I wish other restaurants would do as well. It's not hard to do.Food here is good. It's nothing classy, but it's full of fun, flavorful takes on classic restaurant food. I've had several things here and have never been disappointed. My go to, however, is the PB&J bacon burger. Don't let the PB&J turn you away. It's so good! Perfect blend of sweet & savory. I also want to shout out their beers. They're fantastic. They offer a great beer club subscription that, once again if I lived closer to a location, I would sign up for in a heartbeat. If you live close to this location and like their beers, it seems like a no brainer to me to sign up.“
“Wheelchair accessibility: Nobody in my party was in a wheelchair but I did notice that there are no steps From the parking lot all the way to a table. There's plenty of room to put a wheelchair at a table simply removing one of the restaurants chairs. I don't think a person in a wheelchair would have any difficulty at all.“
“Love sharky's! Not authentic Mexican food, but I feel like it's a healthier option. Love to get the grande nachos and split them with my husband, but the tostada salad with shrimp, black beans, and mixed greens is so amazing, too. It's a little on the pricey side, but worth it. Be sure to sign up for rewards, though. Comes in handy when you can get $7 off!“
“I’m very critical with my reviews, so believe me when I say that this place has got to be the best fast food joint I have ever been to. I come here quite often and I consistently get A+ service as if I were in a Michelin star restaurant. The food is also consistently very good, in fact the new honey pepper pimento sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. While other restaurants have betrayed me(I’m looking at you chipotle), chik fil a constantly outdoes itself. Bravo, chik fil a, God is good.“
“Great portions, delicious rolls, nice serverLoved the monkey ballOrdered ultimate Philadelphia roll and I'll go with the regular next time, didn't really taste the cream sauce and could get two regular Philly rolls for the price of the ultCan't wait to come back for AYCE sushi!“
“I came here for the first time today. Leslie the cashier helped me out. She was very welcoming when I came in and helpful with explaining their menu options. I asked for a recommendation and she recommended the California bowl. She was really interactive with me and made my experience very pleasant. I am very satisfied with my first experience here and the food was amazing too. Thank you Leslie! Will definitely be back!“
“Impossible patty melt - super yum! I would probably ask for a side of the sauce but very good. Strawberry limeade stealing the spotlight - I has to stop myself from getting a third cup. Delicious! Tempura green beans looked delicious but alas, I decided to skip. Service was friendly and fast. Typical ambiance of a faster food place.“
“We can here late closing time and they still took our dine in order, I haven't been here since I was a kid. It was really delicious and the customer was super nice. It is expensive but it was worth it they have a few beers on tap. Arcade and few tvs. The owner I assume it was him taking our order was really nice I would definitely come here again. Their menu was super big with different stuff you have to check it out.“
