“I had the pleasure of visiting BNS Brewing and Distillery in Santee, California, and it was an experience worth talking about. The brewery exudes a welcoming atmosphere with its rustic yet laid-back charm, making it the perfect spot for both regulars and newcomers. On this visit, I was there to watch my friend compete in a lively cornhole tournament, which was one of the highlights of the night. The event was impressively organized, with smooth registration, clearly designated playing areas, and a schedule that kept everything running seamlessly. It was fantastic to see a mix of serious competitors and casual players enjoying themselves and interacting in friendly competition.
The crowd added to the experience with their energy—cheering, laughing, and sharing moments that brought everyone together. Whether you were there to play or just watch, like I was, the enthusiasm was infectious. The staff at BNS played a big part in creating such an enjoyable atmosphere, always attentive and ensuring everyone had a great time.
Beyond the event, BNS Brewery’s craft beers and distilled beverages were exceptional. With a diverse range of flavors to choose from, there’s truly something for everyone. For anyone looking for a place that blends community spirit, good drinks, and quality entertainment, BNS Brewing and Distillery is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!

“I am obsessed with Juneshine! I love the hard kombucha but I’m an even bigger fan of the canned cocktails. I live in Oregon and recently visited the tasting room while in San Diego- it’s beautiful and a fun vibe with great people! Definitely recommend, especially if you’re into kombucha! If kombucha isn’t your thing, pick up a case of their canned cocktails at the liquor or grocery store - you won’t be disappointed! Really clean ingredients and they are so good!“

“The team who works here is amazing. The beer has depth and character and the Hazy's.... OMG! Top notch! It is a San Diego must see/taste brewery. One thing that stands out as well is that the have sours but not traditional ones. They are not sour at all, more like a fruit drink. I can now bring my non beer loving friends with me and enjoy. There are two other breweries attached to this one as well. Three breweries who all have specialties so whatever type of beer you like you will find it it.“

“LOVE this brewery! My husband & I wanted to have a spot to gather all of our out-of-town friends and family the night before our wedding and we knew we wanted Helix! Communicating with them was so easy - they made sure we had info about the food truck, parking, and everything else we would want. The most incredible part? They didn't even charge us extra to swarm the brewery with our ~90 guests.
Besides having the best, most chill vibe with delicious beers... they're just cool, down-to-earth people. We love you, Helix!“
“Discovered this little microbrewery when driving down Hibert Street in Mira Mesa after a walk around Miramar Lake. There was a sidewalk banner advertising the brewery and I’m super happy I scoped the place out. The crew and patrons were having ugly Xmas sweater night and our little dog was welcomed as we were.I had Siren Song, an IPA, and my friend had Wolf, a German altbier. We were delighted with our cold pints, the beers were both excellent!!!!! We are definitely coming back and inviting friends!Give this brewery a try, you won’t be sorry!“

And boy do they take it seriously, though the half pipe, rec room, and living room style lounge would beg to differ.The beer reflects the same fun yet dynamic nature that the crew characterizes as San Diego Sty-LEE. Business in the front and party in the rear. Not to mention, the array of flavor profiles they serve (on their first set of brews) will tickle almost anyone's palate that enjoys a frosty beverage while soaking in the sun.I am a fan and will definitely continue to buy beer from Hodad's. “I like their beers so I'm a bit biased. The location is very convenient as it's close to the Grape street dog park. This taproom is dog friendly. They have a patio off the sidewalk, which is nice if it's not too hot. Bring your sunscreen! :) Their staff is friendly and helpful deciding which beer you should try. My go-to is "Let's Go" IPA. I highly recommend this taproom!“
