“I recently visited Mike Hess in Imperial Beach and was thoroughly impressed! The service was top-notch, and the prices for drinks and food were very reasonable. The bathrooms were spotless, which speaks to the high maintenance standards. The outdoor area was a delight, with lawn games, cornhole, and fire pits available for cozying up. Plus, they host fun events like trivia nights, making it a great spot for socializing. Overall, Mike Hess is a gem in Imperial Beach - I highly recommend it.“
“I was looking at the local breweries in the area and this one popped up. I've heard of them because of the collaborations they've done with other breweries so it was a must try. We weren't disappointed. Staff was amazing. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I was gazing at the beer list and an employee asked me what kind of beers I liked and allowed me to sample a few to pick the one I enjoyed most. They were all tasty. There was a variety for everyone. Pizza and wings were delicious. It's close to the beach and a cool place to people and car watch. We happened to see a bunch of vintage VW bugs and busses pass by which was really cool.“

“I’ve frequented plenty of breweries on the west coast, and I have a handful of favorites but East Village is another level. I literally have not have a bad beer from them, and that’s especially impressive since they typically drop a new beer a week. The owners are great, always happy to geek out with you. The staff is friendly and attentive, makes it feel like your hanging at a friends house. I just cannot speak highly enough of this place. An absolute gem among the already incredible SD brewing scene.“

“This is a nice spot to hang out with friends. Beer is pretty good. I like Mexican flavor they use for their drink mixes. They have some tasty michelada mixes and some cocktails as well. There's also a taco stand that's pretty good too. It is pretty strange that the lounge area is separated from the bar though. Your going to have to take a nice walk every time you want more drinks.“
“We stopped here for some after dinner drinks. What a great decision! We really enjoyed the ciders and the seltzers. Excited to try some of the best next time we come. There was trivia the night we were there and there are patio heaters to keep you warm in the evening. Would recommend for tourists and locals!“

“I love this place! They serve craft beer, my favorite one is the Irish red, the place is decked out in Star Wars memorabilia, and they have unique art pieces on the walls. The place is quaint just like I like, they have a monthly reggae night on the 3rd Saturday of the month, and they have different art shows, bands, DJs, so you can definitely ask about booking your band/DJ! The other unique thing they have here is ice cream made in house infused with the beer they brew! So they basically have craft beer and icecream! Just recently, they started serving Kombucha! It's delicious! Best tasting kombucha ever! Brewed in house! Give this place a try they have something for everyone!“

“When we visited Stone Brewing, the taphouse was located just outside Petco field. Even though they have since moved to Kettner, they remain a taproom for some of the best beer to come out of California (IMHO). With 16 of the best they have to offer at the moment, the taphouse is a mandatory visit place every time we come to town, with multiple flights planned to sample as much of the range as we can. Merchandise is available.“
“The beer choices were good and the bar tender was excellent at helping to help me narrow it down for a flight of 4 beers. Don't listen to google, it was totally open on a Wednesday at 3 when google said they are closed on Wednesdays. The coco ono ipa was delicious! I'm not an ipa girl, I dislike hoppy beer, but the subtle coconut flavor made the beer delightful. But hands down favorite, so good I said "f*** that's delicious" after my first sip was the Ziggy Stardust sour. “I don’t understand how Mission Brewery is not a 4.8 or higher but i suppose the issue for most folk is the waves of homeless outside the brewery. While it’s unfortunate, this is one of my favorite breweries from the vibe of the establishment and history of the building to the drinks and the PRICES!! $5 beer options at the time of writing this on March of 2024!!! can’t beat that in San Diego“
“Great location, beer and views. They don’t serve food but you can bring food from nearby places (we went to Mitch’s next door). I had both the Try This Pale Ale and the Petunia IPA and loved both. The only negative was that I brought home a 4-pack of the Try This but I didn’t taste good (very malty and not happy anymore). Checked the canned date and it was over 4 months old :( The flavor was not the same anymore which was disappointing. I usually check the dates on the bottom of the can when I buy beer and the liquor store as they don’t sort out older ones. I didn’t think that I needed to check the date at the actual brewery’s tasting room but I definitely will in the future. Aside from that, it was a nice visit with great atmosphere on a sunny San Diego day!“

“3 Punk Ales is located in the heart of Little Italy off India Street, serving up some of the finest beers on tap!I recently came here for their grand opening and was blown away by their selection of beers and seltzers they have to offer. Inside the decor and ambiance is a very clean modern-day look with fancy wall paper through out the fine establishment. They have a large screen TV playing music for your entertainment with ample seating throughout the place. Their main brewery is located in Chula Vista, where they brew the beer and decided to branch out in Americas finest city's downtown in Little Italy.I came in twice so far and tried their premium Mexican lager as well as the San Diego lager named 3rd Avenue. I also had their grape soda, which is a seltzer, and it was quite refreshing. The menu is posted up, which has the name and description of the beverages with alcohol content and price. The customer service was indeed second to none and provided service with a smile. The prices for beer were fair, and the quality was superb! I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying the Italian pilsner or Italian soda. There is a restroom on site and and outside food is authorized to bring in. “We just moved away, but this was our go to neighbors spot. I LOVE LM for their sours, but all of their beers are fantastic. The staff would also let me try crazy combos of half spurs and half other beers, or make fancy rims if I asked. Such a great community, wish we could have taken them with us. “Some of the best beer in San Diego. Stopped in about a month ago and sampled some beer. They have a style of beer that I have not been able to find anywhere else. "Rausch" style beer. The malt that they use is smoked. It gives the beer a very smokey and meaty flavor. Just the right amount of hops and not too bitter. It is named "7 years of smoke." And I have to mention that the service is outstanding. Also on Sundays "grenades" are half price. A "grenade" is half a "growler" Actually as I am writing this I am drinking one of their beers!!!! LOL“

“This place... IS INCREDIBLE! Originally planned on going to a taco and beer fest on the pier, the line for that must've been about 2 days long, so the bf and I decided to go somewhere else. Saw it was a close walk and went there to feed our hungry faces and have our own mini beer fest. We were NOT disappointed!!! The service was great, our bartender was a sweetheart and helpful, and the FOOD. WAS. PERFECT. I got the mac n cheese, which was voted best in San Diego for 2 years, and let me tell you by far the best I've ever had. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos, and we also got the sweet chili garlic wings. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we were also given a few beer samples! Highly recommended going here, and we'll definitely be back“
“This appears to be a shared venue. Front of the house is The Local, eatery and drinking hole. The Brewery is in the back half. We didn't eat but the beers we had were very good. They had upside down christmas trees hanging from the ceiling.“
“This is was really cool. Went there with wifey last Saturday. I come here every now and then since I live around the corner. The beer was great. I suggest war planes. The place seemed busier than usually. They had a DJ playing and he was taking request. They had a light show going and the music that was playing was just awesome. We had a really good time. “Did I just find my next neighborhood bar?! I stopped by here on a Sunday around 1230pm before heading home to watch another heartbreaking game where my NFL team lost in overtime. And the beer I had here helped me feel loose and ready to get my heartbroken. First of all, Jessie, the bartender serving us, was a chill dude. Allowed us to sample. Asked us questions. Played and put us onto different songs. And most importantly, gave his solid recommendations on what to drink. We ended up sharing two beers. The healing earth IPA stole the show. I absolutely hate IPAs but this one was so delicious I almost walked away with a 4-pack of it. The other I had was the Sun Soaked which wasn't that great. When we entered we were the only ones there but when we left there was about 5 total. Heard during Chargers games it gets packed. So plan accordingly. Really dig the place.“

“Our second visit here after enjoying drinks in the sun in August 2022. This time we brought our son's and they loved it too! Food is casual but quick (the loaded fries were fantastic!) We also enjoyed our drinks and the take away cups. We added to our glass collection after trying beer flights and also grabbed a t-shirt too. Would love to come again if we find ourselves back in San Diego (which would be an absolute treat!!)“

To add to my experience here, Melissa (our server) was outstanding.
