“This place is hoppin! Monday nights are a great night to come here and learn to line dance, or just watch all the beautiful people line dance. The crowd was mixed with young people and their parents ( I think) I know I look like someone's parent. My kid would never be seen with me here, but anyway. I had an imperial stout and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I used to be a stout/porter/dark beer girl. Ok, I was a beer babe back in the day. But nowadays, I only drink tequila or seltzers for the carb savings. On this Monday, I chose to break my new pattern and enjoy one of my old favorites. The Imperial stout had good carbonation, was full flavored but not over powering or bitter. It was excellent if I might say. I saw that they have events every night of the week, and this place is very popular, trendy, and happening for a SANTEE establishment.“
“We visit Oggi's about four times a month. The food can be a little inconsistent, but we really like the weekday special menu. We always request to sit in Jessica r section, she is so friendly, and always has a smile for you no matter what her day is like. She is honestly the reason that we go back so often, also, it's very nice to have the option to sit outside.“
“This will be their last month in business according to their Instagram page. Please visit them if you are in the area. Supposedly it's 9am-5pm but when I visited they had a note saying 12pm-5pm so I am not sure on their hours anymore. Coffee was great. Loved the espresso drop shot. They had seating inside, a small bench outside and served alcohol as well.“
“If you're in North County SD, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Juneshine's tasting room. We trained to Sorrento Valley and then uber'd to Juneshine. But the aesthetic of the place is beautiful and Rachel, the bartender, was so awesome! Tons of great flavors to try and a welcoming space! We had such a great experience!“
“Recently, Original 40 hosted an event for me and my club on their beautiful back patio! We had such an amazing time! The service was next level. Steve and his team were incredibly welcoming, hospitable and so fun! We loved every minute of it! If you are wanting to host a gathering, definitely do it at Original 40! Great service, great beer and great ambiance!“
“We went for happy hour and had a great time! The beer is exceptional! We tried the limited edition golden ale " King Cake" and it was so good we asked the beertender if she could persuade the brewers to make it a year round offering. We also tried the rich creamy stout which was fabulous! That team can brew! Our beertender was great also ( very patient while we perused all of the offerings and happy to answer our questions about bitterness and hoppiness). The taco truck smelled amazing but we already had dinner reservations so we'll try him next time. What a great local brewery!“
“A nice salty little tap room in a place we never would have found if our dog hadn't broken a $550 nail... The bartender was the pleasantly gruff you would want to expect at a wee neighborhood place. He definitely had me nailed just walking in for a Porter, the wartime chocolate, and a fine pick it was. As always in San Diego, a very IPA heavy menu (5 IPA, 3 cream, 2 sour) out of 16 taps, but the Kolsh was good as well. Atmosphere was very nice, for a cozy little place, especially for Canadian WWII buffs. If I am back this way, I will be back.“
“Allow me to explain the reasons why I love Seek Brewing. First, the beer is expertly brewed, clean fermentations, with proper fermenting times creates a level of lager brewing that few can match in San Diego. Every lager has been outstanding. This is why you’ll see other long time SD brewers hanging out here. Not a lager drinker? No worries, the line of pale ales, West coast IPAs and hazy IPAs should fulfill just about everyone’s drink needs, even a few fruited sour beers are available. The Room: Small cozy interior with a small bar and a few tables. Bright with a modern simple design logo that bucks the trends for most breweries. The Patio: This is a large outdoor communal space (shared by the three breweries) that offers picnic tables, comfy patio chairs, a janga set, dart boards, and corn-hole boards. Food trucks and pop-up food vendors provide the eats. It’s a great place to enjoy the SD sunshine. The People: This is the best part, from the owners to the warm welcoming beer-tenders who make you feel like a part of the family. One particular staff member is the amazing Savanna whose personal good natured charm could melt an iceberg, she’s knowledgeable about the products and truly a great beer-tender.Get some!“
“I tried the Buko Pandan Hazy IPA on draft at LHK Noodle Bar in Mira Mesa and it was DELICIOUS so I had to make a stop to the brewery in North Park to grab myself some cans!! I grabbed 2 sets of 4 cans and it came out to be $47.82 which is $5.98 per can. I typically don't enjoy IPAs because they're too hoppy for me, but on draft the coconut taste came out so much more prominent than the hops, it was magical. I feel like the cans tasted hoppier IMO, but it was still very well crafted and incredibly unique especially with the vibrant green Pandan color :0) Since I was just running in and out, I didn't see any cans of their Ube Stout available so I wasn't able to try it. I will definitely come back for that though, it sounded delicious as well.“
“Awesome place to brew some beer! Judd was super knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the entire process. We’ve brewed here before and keep coming back. Multiple beers on tap to enjoy while you brew whatever style you like. Highly recommended!“
“As a huge beer lover, I have gone to a lot of San Diego's breweries. In recent years, Harland has become one of my favorites! It's always a good after-work spot for my coworkers and I. The space is pretty big, they have a food vendor on site, plenty of seating, a handful of games, a TV or two, a little patio, really friendly staff, and ultimately delicious beer that almost never disappoints! I especially love that they have Filipino, island, tropical inspired beers on rotation. Personal favorites over the years are anything with Ube, smoothie styles, milkshake IPAs, and I usually like their unique releases they've had like li hing and melona. I know one thing they're locally famous for is their annual Ube Day when they throw a whole event around their special Ube beer! I hope to attend this some day!“
“Whenever we go to San Diego and have the opportunity we visit white la s. For us, the exercise of trying the same style of beer with two different yeasts is very interesting. On this occasion we also needed some raw material and the guy who served us at the bar was very kind and saw a way to fill our order at once. A person from the warehouse came and in a matter of minutes opened the account for us as customers and gave us what we were looking for.“
“Fun little spot to grab a beer in Poway. Great selection on the board with a lot of variety. Service is friendly and welcoming, and there are some diverse food offerings in the same shopping center. They also have events/theme nights, with a stand out to me being bottomless beers on Fridays! Will definitely be back!“
“Small cozy venue with so many interesting persons that drop by. Every time I visit here, I've met new people, and spent the entire time in great conversation! It's mentally stimulating! Dog-friendly, which is important to me. Great food trucks on occasion. Highly recommend you give this place a try. I live in La Mesa, yet drive up to Poway regularly (and past multiple breweries on the way) to enjoy the conversations and low-key, welcoming atmosphere.“
“I'm a regular visitor, live in the neighborhood. There's something about this brewing, it has its own charm. They have sour and regular beers. Two separate warehouses. I prefer regular and there are lots to choose from. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they have food track till 8 pm and live music on weekends. The atmosphere and people are very nice here. It feels like a family:). I recommend visiting this place on the weekend evening.“
“We just moved away, but this was our go to neighbors spot. I LOVE LM for their sours, but all of their beers are fantastic. The staff would also let me try crazy combos of half spurs and half other beers, or make fancy rims if I asked. Such a great community, wish we could have taken them with us. They're also dog friendly!!“
“The grapefruit Let's Go IPA and Italian Pilsner are two favorites for sure. The place is perfect for family and friends. Ice cream next door for kids, taco truck close as well, and the best beer. Don't forget, they are dog-friendly!“
“Visited on 12/16/23 with a buddy after hiking Mission Trails. Had the AJ IPA and he had the rotating IPA. Both were tasty. We also split the golden stout. Pours gold in color, not the usual darker color associated with a stout. Very tasty and my buddy said with hints of caramel. Andrew the bartender was cool and laid back. You need to check this place out.“
