“Great beer selection, friendly staff, and a really unique atmosphere. One of the coolest features of Brewjeria is the underground venue downstairs, which hosts live music and comedy events. The only suggestion I would make is to promote the basement stage more clearly inside the venue. As a first-time visitor, it would be easy to miss that there is a separate underground space with its own bar and events. A little more signage could help more people discover it. Overall, a great spot on Third Avenue and definitely worth checking out“

“I've had a lot of favorite breweries over the years but this one is probably my current one. The beers are frankly unbearable. They have many German and European beers, and what they have rotatates. But they're always sure to have some from every part of the beer spectrum - light to dark, hoppy to good. The beer tastes the best in the city.
They don't serve food, but they share a courtyard with a couple spots that do. Food is closed 1 day/week. The other days, there is always something going on - live music, trivia, canasta - it's a lively and great place. Highly recommend checking it out! (On a day that the other Business (food) are open.

“The team who works here is amazing. The beer has depth and character and the Hazy's.... OMG! Top notch! It is a San Diego must see/taste brewery. One thing that stands out as well is that the have sours but not traditional ones. They are not sour at all, more like a fruit drink. I can now bring my non beer loving friends with me and enjoy. There are two other breweries attached to this one as well. Three breweries who all have specialties so whatever type of beer you like you will find it it.“

“Excellent service! The bartender at the rooftop bar was extremely friendly and kind and went above and beyond to make sure our group was attended to. The fire pit areas are so beautiful if you’re looking for a chill/lounge vibe with beautiful views in East Village.
We held an event there last year for the holidays, and the service and food were spot on. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a venue to host a large party or a small group of friends. Everyone can order what they want at the bar and they bring the food to you.“

“I'm a newbie when it comes to brewing beer. I found Home Brew Mart while investigating the brewing scene. I'm so glad I found them. I started by taking a beginner brewing class that taught me all the basics I needed to start brewing. I have now brewed several batches of beer using their recipes posted online. The guys are duper knowledgeable and have helped me successfully brewing my own beer. If I have questions, they have answers. If you are looking to start home brewing or just need a local source of ingredients and knowledge, you should consider Home Brew Mart. I'm definitely glad I did!“
“Update June 2026: still my number 1 favorite brewery. Always a great experience. Tonight the beer was perfect, the band (Setting Sons) was excellent, and the food truck was great ( Surf Me A Taco, or is it Surf Meat Taco) ! Great place. Praguenosis, haze for horses, King Rufus - incredible beers.

“I have been to this Hopnonymous location a few times since it opened, most recently for a world cup match, and I have been blown away each time by the friendliness of the staff as well as the quality of the brews. In an area like normal heights, which we all know has plenty of choices for bars, this place really makes an effort to earn repeat business. Great people and great beers!“

“Came in Saturday night with my girlfriend. We watched a bit of drama unfold with another female patron, and somehow got pulled into it. The staff stayed friendly and professional the whole time. It ended up being such a wild, weird experience we’ll never forget. but the beer was on point and the two guys there were super chill. We’ll definitely come back here on our travels.“

“We had our wedding reception upstairs at Mission Brewery and it was the best decision ever. The manager Eric went above and beyond for us and made something so easy. Our bartender, I believe his name was George was so so great and also made our night to remember. Parking is nearby, close to many hotels, lots of space, and great beers. Highly recommend booking all of your events at Mission Brewery.“

“I've had most of the menu and have loved every beer I've tried here. Today was overcast and cold, perfect weather for a stout. The Gambino didn't disappoint. It is well balanced and smooth. The Coco Ono a Pina colada hazy IPA. Also an awesome choice tith the pineapple nicely complementing the hops and the coconut being present but not overwhelming. Definitely stop by and have a taste“

“I stumbled upon this bar while exploring the neighborhood and ended up staying for hours. It has a rustic interior, friendly staff, and an impressive list of craft beers — both local and international. The bartender was super knowledgeable and let me sample a few before I picked my favorite. They also had board games available, which made the night even more fun. Solo or with friends — great place to chill.“

“We used to live around the corner but moved away many years ago. It was great to revisit KSBC and enjoy it just as much as we did last time.
Excellent service (and beer advice) from Taylor and it was also wonderful to chat with Bonnie.
If you get a chance to meet her, be sure to ask about the history of the place, and also “the photo” :-)
Food was terrific, and it was good to see they still cater well for vegetarians.
We often travel through San Diego on our travels, and try to stop here when we can. We haven’t been disappointed yet.

“Our son and daughter in law were visiting from Panama and chose this place . We each ordered something different and all the dishes served were great! Will definitely eat there again! 👍🏼“
“local feel type hangout spot but still very cool in ambience/theme. They are known for PB Stout, but i personally do not enjoy it but I know majority does. There other beers are passable. I have had many of there products in cans and I was excited to come and try the taps/draft but just never really got to it.“

“Great place to do a little work done and there is great food too. There is usually a lot of places to sit. They sell beer for any occasion like if you just want to sit and have a drink work a little or to like something to bring to a party or to have at home. They sell mostly six packs of beer.“

“Boochcraft is my go to! It checks all my boxes in terms of an unbelievably healthy hard cocktail. Organic, Vegan and Gluten Free with Kombucha, fruit and no added sugars???? It does not get better than this! I keep this stocked in my house and I tell all the liquor store owners in the area to please keep this stocked as I will be by each week to pick up a 6 pack or 8 pack!!!“
