“Great small brewery! Very friendly owners who provide great customer service and offer a welcoming atmosphere. There are many really good beers here, but the strong blonde ale is fantastic.
This brewery is more tucked away on a back Vista road, but it's worth finding your way here. The tasting room bay widows open up, and it's a perfect place to sit while the sun is out and enjoy the amazing weather.
There are often food trucks here while you can grab some food while you enjoy your beer.“
“Birria Tacos are fantastic! Location fresh & lively and beers plentiful and delicious.“
“I was apprehensive about trying this place, I thought it was just all Mexican beer. However you do not need to put any kind of citrus in this beer to make it taste good. It's actually good beer. The interior vibe is very nice and I thoroughly enjoy the most wanted IPA. I'm a fan. I'll be here a couple times a week at least.“
“Response to Billy Bob, I’ve never seen a grown man cry over a processing fee. And brush up on your Vocabulary big man, in your nonsensical fit of anger you said it’s about the “ righteousness” , when I think you meant principle. Me and the guy standing behind you laughed in confusion for a good 5 minutes after you walked out. Thanks for that:)“
“Eclectic selection of brews that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else.“
“In town for one night. Spent the evening walking between three breweries and a meadery. If I lived here, this is the one that would be my local watering hole. Absolutely beautiful bartender, friendly atmosphere, great music, and a story behind the label and taprooms that can't be beat.“
“Great service. Popped in here on a whim and found they have a fully plant-based food menu. They also have a dedicated sheet with gluten/soy/coconut allergen information for the different components in each item. It was great for my wife that can't have soy/dairy right now. Even though almost all of their protein is soy based, she was able to eat some brussel sprouts and Mac n cheeze (violife).“
“Great beer and dog friendly. Outdoor seating on highway 101.“
“If you didn’t like beer before…I promise you’ll like beer after you’ve tried drinking at this Brewery!!!“
“Great place to chill w/ ur dog, friends and family.“
“Fabulous Venue. Best Service. Great Blends.“
“Outstanding bar and grill!!“
“I love this little brewery! The guys are super nice and they have food trucks and the ambience is really cool. Kid friendly too!“
“Absolutely incredible location in Leucadia with a chill atmosphere and welcoming tap room.First-time caller, so I went with a flight, obvs., of both West Coast as well as Double IPA's.Good but not great (hence the four stars), but gawddamn, Leucadia FTW, as this spot definitely wins for Location, Location, Location.Paz.“
“Fantastic beers, super friendly staff, cans to go! They are also doing a great job following the covid guidelines. Right now their parking lot is covered in appropriately spaced out tables with shade for everyone. Had a great experience and will absolutely be back again!“
“Went for some beer and food with my husband. The beer was from Barrel and Stave and was great tasting. Had a burger from Baby’s and those were both good too! Definitely coming back“
“WestBrew Vista is an absolute gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great beer, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service. The diverse brew selection caters to every taste, and the culinary pairings are a delight. From lively events to sustainable practices, WestBrew Vista stands out. A must-visit for beer enthusiasts! ?“
“Absolutely one of the best breweries in Vista. All of their beer is well made, its all delicious. The staff and owners are very customer oriented and friendly and fun to talk to. They have a lot of beer styles to choose as well as a hard seltzer. The Vanilla Toffee Porter, Belgian, and Cream Ale were exceptional.
There is one main large bar to sit at and tables all around it. There are TVs where you can watch sports. There is also a good sound system, so it is easy to hear. Even for being a smaller tasing room, it feels big when you're inside. There was also food available. The beer menu is updated on their website as it's updated in the brewery, so you can see what they have in real time.
They also support local artists by hosting art on their walls inside the brewery for sale. It's a nice touch. Parking wasn't a problem, there is a lot of street parking nearby. The fridge has canned beer and a variety of Non Alcoholic drinks, too.“
“Fun brewery with a solid golf theme. Tons of places to sit I side and out. Very dog friendly. There is even a dog area outside where you can have a beer with your fur buddies. Inside, there is a large indoor golfing simulator. This is a great brewery for work events and after work happy hour. It definitely has a professional and upscale vibe to it. Staff is wonderful, and they have a large area where you can buy merchandise, beer, and glasses.
Lots of parking available. There is also a awesome BBQ pop up that is often out front with excellent food.“
“My buddy and I had a great time with the folks and crew at the Padres game! Many thanks to you, Rawley!“
“Small but fine craft brewery. Always good to “talk beer” and try new ideas. Consumption on site and everything freshly packaged to take away. Not mass-produced! Only handmade drinks from our own factory. Tip: you can brew every other Sunday. Two thumbs up ☝️!“
“We had a great time on Thursday trivia night. First prize was a flight of mead and second prize was an empty growler bottle, neither of which we wanted, which worked out, since we came in third?. We loved the "food truck" too! Our server was awesome - friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was easy and plentiful.“
“One of the only remaining gems in the art of brewing in Escondido. It’s dog friendly, food trucks are scheduled frequently, love their collaborations with other breweries.
Their Invita lager is probably the best in this area.“
“Finally got to visit this place. Knew of it and how great their beer was from Chris as we are in the same Queso Diego cheese club. Had an amazing stop on St. Patty's day. Lots of tasty beer and seltzers Edgar took very good care of us and was such character to chat with! Thanks for making our visit over the top amazing. I highly enjoyed the huckleberry seltzer and even got a crowler to go.“
“Very cute little brewery! Excellent stout and my friend had The spa water (ginger ale mixed with the cucumber basil seltzer) and says it was phenomenal and the perfect combination of flavors and the one she had before that was the cucumber basil by itself they were both phenomenal. Cute atmosphere, super nice employees... Open Thursday thru Monday. Cute spot“
“So happy that we found this local Brewery! The beer is so good and certainly the best value in Southern California. We have met so many friendly people here, including Mark, the owner and brewmeister. Mark and his beer tenders make you feel like family. Friday nights are one of my favorite...the Taco Ladies are there and make incredible tacos and mulitas. If you've never been, you must give it a try. Very casual atmosphere.“
“I love mead. I’ve tried nearly everything I can get my hands on, including shipping things from half a world away. I first tried Golden Coast Mead today at the Poway farmers market and they are truly making something special. The booth was worked by a wonderful woman named Jessica who gave me a $5 tasting flight and let me in on a delicious little secret regarding sweet and sour. I purchased bottles of Wildflower Sweet, Wildflower Sour, and Triple Chili. Highly recommend. Stop by if you want to find out about the secret for yourself!“
“This is a great local hangout! The beer selection is awesome! The service staff is attentive and friendly, the music is lively, you can watch whatever game you're interested in and, if you're hungry, you can get something from the ajoining Lamppost Pizza. Good times await!!!“
“Great vibes and beautiful place to hang out in. The bar is fantastic, Alma had an outstanding knowledge of the selection and had recommendations that were not only on point but mind-changing.Pictured is the flight, 5 flavors of beer, all 5 oz. And for $10, it's a hard deal to pass up on.Would recommend this place to ANYONE who enjoys craft brew and unique IPAs.“
“You can’t stop an unstoppable volcano of flavors flowing down the streets of Vista! So grateful for both of these OG breweries to combine forces and open a tasting room in vista.
Everything is great on the menu! Trust me I have tried most of them! Coming back soon for more.“
“Great beer, fun people, they have comedians, live music, drone events, and are dog friendly. A must stop for your beer drinking needs!“
“Came here for dinner, our food was amazing and our server David went above and beyond! David was super friendly and knowledgeable on the menu and drink selection!! five stars for the food and five stars for David and his amazing customer service“
“the best soup I've ever had!!!!! so delicious I wish I had the recipes!!!“
“Bear Roots is in downtown Vista and they always have a new beer selection with 2-3 classic beers that they brew. The interior is comforting and a great place to hangout at.I recently went here with a group of 7. They were very accommodating and sat us in their semi-private room. The room has a nice table and the different beers listed on it. I ordered a blood orange beer. I forgot the name, but it was delicious. There was a UFC fight going on and they played it on the tv in the semi-private room! The workers are super chill and were constantly cleaning and practicing social distancing guidelines. All employees were wearing masks, which was great. I will definitely be coming back to Bear Roots once they open back up. It's now my favorite brewery/spot to grab a beer in Downtown Vista.“
“Love this place, try to come once a week. Dog friendly and kid friendly with great staff and great quality food“

“Ava our server was just so amazing! Such a great attitude and got our food/ beverages out in a timely manner. Definitely would give that girl a raise!“
“Super fun place with a lot of entertainment and options. There is a pool table and many couches. They also have all age events from time to time. I like that they have inside and outside areas. Also, I had emailed them the day of an event and heard back extremely quick. I was quite impressed. I took my teens (as I don't drink anyways) and it was also a safe environment for them....plus they had a great time learning more about skating, listening to bands, and even seeing a mosh pit.“
