“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. I enjoyed the Munchwrap and the smash burger was pretty good. Next time I hope to try the flatbread—they currently have one plant based flatbread on the menu.“

They also have non-alcoholic on tap. The owner is a dog-lover and offers doggie treats with permission from the parents. We especially love coming when a certain guest artist is performing, and upon our third visit, we noticed a reserved sign on a table at which we usually like to sit. They have mostly indoor, and a couple picnic tables outside which. It’s hard to compare this location with the other burgeon locations because they are all so different. Wish they would offer a Happy Hour or a featured/discounted beer like how Harland and Pizzaport does.“

I first tried Golden Coast Mead today at the Poway farmers market and they are truly making something special. The booth was worked by a wonderful woman named Jessica who gave me a $5 tasting flight and let me in on a delicious little secret regarding sweet and sour. “I thought it was a cool spot. I don’t know if I would personally dine here, but they do focus pretty heavy on food/dining here… unlike other breweries who mostly have food trucks and limited menus. The beer list was absolutely insane. I haven’t seen many options in my life. I did appreciate it the variety… but tbh… I only care about the in house brewed stuff. I visited to try YOUR beer. Not a guest beer. I had the docitra, or however u call it, at Board N Brew… and it was fire. It prompted me to come out and check you guys out… which I did. Cool location, maybe not the most convenient but I did enjoy the area. I forgot which German/euro beer I had. But I think it was a Helles and it was Hellas good lol“

Had an amazing experience at Backstreet Brewer thanks to Kevin! He was absolutely awesome — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about his craft. He made some of the best drinks I’ve ever had, perfectly tailored to our preferences. The atmosphere was great, but Kevin really made it special with his top-notch service and positive energy. Highly recommend this place and definitely ask for Kevin if you want a fantastic bar experience. Will be coming back for sure!“

“Family owned! Great speakeasy vibe with lots of cool steampunk designs. You can even buy your own steampunk glasses and hats here! They mostly serve just alcoholic kombucha and 1 rotating local beer on tap, and like 2 non-alcoholic kombuchas. All of their kombucha is good with unique flavor profiles for each type. I love all their lemonade versions - tastes like actual lemonade to me, and they use cool fruits in their kombucha like dragonfruit! If you like it, they sell bottles, and can also bottle one for you then snd there. They usually have live music Friday and Saturday and events throughout the week. The vibe is definitely worth coming in and having a drink.“

I usually come for HH for Wings. Wings are 10/10. Singed up with Karl Rewards and got a free App. Normal Menu items are a bit over priced and nothing special too me. Mac n Cheese is a bit over hyped.“
