“This Turkish restaurant is outstanding in all aspects! Our dinner consisted of the Meze Combo, which is an excellent selection of their fabulous appetizers, the Lamb Shish Kebab, with lamb that was cooked to perfection, and the Adana Kebab, which was a fine mixture of lamb and beef in a slightly spicy combination. The waiter was very polite and extremely friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly appreciated his recommendation of the baklava to compliment the excellent meal we had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderful blend of walnuts and spices. Due to the meal being so exceptional, we came back the next morning for an outstanding breakfast!!! We had the Menemen (Shaksouka) and the American Breakfast. And finished it off with a bowl of their Sutlac - the creamy rice pudding! Delicious indeed! Great waitstaff at both meals! “Great Experience with Early Bird Tacos! I needed to set up a pretty last minute breakfast for our team of 23 employees. When sending in an inquiry, through their website, to see if they could cater our breakfast, they responded very quickly and were able to accommodate our needs. Their online ordering system was quick and easy to put an order in. Day of the breakfast They showed up right on time at 7am. The delivery guy was super nice. And then the food was REALLY good! WE ordered their breakfast taco buffet. Everything was super flavorful, the sauces and guacamole were delicious. I highly recommend. Thanks Early Bird Tacos!“

“The food was decent. You get a lot of food for the price. The staff was quiet and serviceable. We were grateful to find them open, almost everything else on the street was closed or boarded up. We had arrived too early to get into our air bnb, and needed to hang somewhere close. We didn't know the neighborhood at all. There seemed to be 2-3 times more of the homeless in the streets of San Francisco, compared to home. This made me sad.
We had to suddenly leave, I think because we were the only people there and the last staff person wanted to go home.“

“I recently moved to San Anselmo, and am so happy I “found” The Hummingbird in nearby Fairfax. It’s in a good location at 57 Broadway Blvd. with plenty of free parking across the street. I really like the New Orleans vibe at The Hummingbird. The menu includes several creole items alongside standard breakfast and lunch choices. The servers are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. I love their catfish po’ boy sandwich. The fried green tomato BLT is very good too. My third visit will happen next week — I’m thinking waffle & fried chicken this time . . . or maybe the fried shrimp po’ boy sandwich.“

“Beautiful brunch place with classics without being overwhelmingly greasy. Good service, good ambience, even the indoor seating feels like outdoor give the massive windows and open concept. Food was delicious and they have a good menu as well. Huge place so you feel like a community here, which is so rare these days.

“Got breakfast here everyday I stayed in SF — if you get there right after 8:30 AM that’s when they start bringing out the fresh pastries. Get the egg tart and coconut bun. Coconut bun is out of this world and the egg tart is super flaky and buttery. Getting there early is a must because the bakery items are still warm!“
