“This was very delicious high in price for the portions. The one turnoff was the appetizer tostada at $14. With literally only a small portion of salad, it's just 4 tortilla chips with tiny tasty greens. I almost fainted when I paid $28 for 8 pieces of chips with greens on top. Other than that, the food was good. Would go back again. Oh yea, the service was great too!“
“The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“
“All the food was fresh and hot. My wife loved the chicken salad. The Hawaiian burger was great! It's a simple hole-in-the-wall with outdoor dining on picnic benches along Pacific Coast Hwy, great place to see people out driving their weekend cars - traffic can be loud. Open 8 am - 3 pm Wednesday - Sunday.“
“Ryan, one of the owners, is always friendly and humorous. Food is delicious and a great value! Sometimes a wait but I've found that Sunday dinner time is usually quick to be seated and served. Support this small business! They are awesome!“
“First time - I called in my order. A kind gentleman answered the phone. I informed him that I've never been there and he informed me what's in the CA plate.. I ended up ordering a CA plate, salmon & grilled shrimp veggies, side salmon and egg rolls. He informed me that it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I got there my order was ready. A small , clean local place with about 4 tables. Took a few pictures of the walls with their appetizing food.Healthy, delicious food and awesome customer service.Supporting local businesses. Will be back to try other items on their menu.“
“Absolutely phenomenal. Found this place because they popped up on my IG explore feed and I’m so glad I gave them a chance - Food is 10000/10. Never had ANY musubi THIS good before. The very kind owner was working behind the counter helping cook and serve the food. Lovely restaurant, will absolutely be returning. Give these guys your business ASAP! It’s a true hidden gem.“
“Every dish here was amazing and tasty! We had a friendly attentive server named AJ who made the dining experience wonderful. He suggested their popular pineapple fried rice and best sellers. The menu here has a nice variety to select from for everyone! We were pleasantly surprised to see our favorite jajangmyun on the menu. Loved every bite and good vibes!“
“Highly recommend this place! It’s so good for a great price. You get a great amount of food too and it’s always fresh.I have gotten my friends and co workers into this place and they weren’t disappointed. The service is great too! It makes me keep coming back. If you’re in the Buena Park area, check them out. You won’t be disappointed.“
“the korean food here was amazing all three items were delicious! one of the best boneless korean fried chicken ive had! the chicken was so juicy and flavorful and amazing with the rose sauce. breading is a little much but besides that chicken was good. not pictured was the kimchi fried rice but that was perfect too! it was busy since it was a late saturday night but we ended up getting seated outside and it was so fun! music and service was amazing and chris and dana were so nice! it was our first time but me and my friends will definitely be back! the photo booth was a great addition!“
“Every Once in a While the Best Surprise is One You Never Saw Coming! The Bowl & Plate Eatery is Exactly That!!! Driving south on Magnolia Street in Anaheim Sunday, Feb. 25 around 6pm. Just before I reached Ball Road, I remembered there used to be a 'hole-in-the-wall' Italian restaurant tucked into the northeast corner of a little strip mall there. It's been a while so I wasn't sure what I'd find but I made the left turn into the parking lot to explore. No more Italian restaurant (sigh). But in its place I see a quaint looking sign proclaiming the new establishment's name: The Bowl & Plate Eatery. Some quick Internet searching gave sufficient details to convince me to enter...that and my growling stomach! A tasteful and minimalist small dining area offered seating for perhaps 15 guests. Upon my arrival this particular Sunday evening, I was one of three. The owner gestured for me to take a seat, brought over a menu and offered a smile so warm and bright I knew she loved what she was creating here. Seriously, her exuberance was evident in abundance. I'm now even more convinced I made the right choice for this evening's dinner. I won't list the whole menu but I will speak of my selections: - Chicken Vegetable Dumplings - Steak Salad - Choco Roti with Ice Cream Everything is infused with blended Asian flavors. The dumplings were perfectly seared on the bottom, offering a nice crispy-crunch with every bite. Their dipping sauce added just the right amount of 'Zip!' without being overpowering. The steak salad was heaping with fresh leafy greens of several varieties and the steak bites were perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. The Choco Roti with ice cream was a last minute addition and WOW! am I glad I did. Small wedges of delicately toasted flat bread, drizzled with sweet icings and a touch of cinnamon, served with a healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream, also drizzled with icing. A great combination of sweetness and savory to end a fantastic meal. Mind you, The Bowl & Plate Eatery is not staffed by a team of experts, cranking out cookie-cutter meals-o-plenty. No No! It was staffed by the owner of that amazing smile, who also happens to own the restaurant. She handled it all, from greeting and seating, to explaining, order taking, meal preparing and serving. She's even her own busboy! And all of it in a timely, orderly manner. No rushing nor resting. A model of efficiency and a skilled chef t'boot. No need to ask if I will return. I will have to add this to my monthly restaurant sojourn list. The owner said she's been there for 3 years now and I fault myself for not discovering The Bowl & Plate sooner. And please note, this is not the steam-table Asian food take-out style place. This is well-crafted dishes prepared with passion and heaped with love of craft. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this but with every bite you'll know it is So, SO Worth It! I'm hopeful The Bowl & Plate is well-visited to keep it in business. This level of original and fresh is rare indeed. I'll keep doing my part! Now it's your turn! Get to The Bowl & Plate for lunch or dinner today!“
“Came here today with my husband. He LOVE the chicken massaman curry! and mine was Beef Thai Boat Noodles, recommend to try if you like flavorful taste (they will give you the things to adjust your flavor as you like but the base is also good). Service was lovely!“
“Chicken Katsu and rice spicy-taste great not really spicy but packed with flavor. Shrimp and mac salad I would pass. Strawberry pineapple lemonade refreshing a little sugary, but tastes more strawberry than pineapple. Didn’t go in person so don’t know about the service and atmosphere.“
“Omgeee Otto Kitchen! I ordered take out last night and it was so freakin good! I couldn't stop saying how good it was while I was eating it lol we ordered the black bean noodles and spicy pork plate and oh man the flavors in those sauces were incredible! I also ordered the sweet and sour pork and Mongolian noodles for the kiddos they were good also but the other two dishes blew me away. Service was very friendly, so I will definitely be back!“
“Great place for lunch, I have been coming here for a few years now and never had a bad experience. Today Alejandra offered great service over the phone and in person. It's convenient to order over the phone and just come pay and pick up.“
“It’s been a few weeks since I have been here but I had forgotten to leave a review each time. The food here is really, really good. I’ve been to many local taco spots and haven’t found a place that puts a spin on a taco so well that doesn’t take away from the authenticity of a taco. Every protein option is flavored so well but my pick is definitely the carnitas amd the shrimp. Amazing food, Great customer service, all around great dining experience.“
“First timer and was very pleased with the quality and diversity of the meats and side offerings. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed an unusually long and well respected 3 hour meal with family members we haven't seen in quite a while. Never felt rushed to exit and service was exceptional -- have been in very high end restaurants where server timing was not as good. At Shinobu, service seemed spot on, always available but not intrusive and we never felt rushed even with the 90 minute AYCE reality. Very much plan to come back even though we live an hour away.“
“I can’t say enough positive things about this place! It’s my favorite place to go between a variety of tasty food options that make your body feel good & the wonderfully amazing service. Nhan, the main food server here is always on it with providing a lovely experience! Whether I place a phone order or dine in, it’s always absolutely perfect. I highly recommend anyone wanting to eat someplace with soul nourishing foods and excellent service to come here! You’ll love it and likely become a weekly regular like I am :)“
“It's difficult to find good vegan and gluten food so when there are options, I'm curious to taste and see if it is any good. I had the beef brócoli substitute the beef for ham and it was good, I enjoyed it. My husband had the shaking beef and he liked it too, he wished it had more of the marinade/sauce. Great customer service!“
“The chicken pho at this restaurant is exceptional, with a broth that is flavorful even before adding hoisin and Sriracha sauces. The homemade noodles are a standout, offering a perfect blend of thickness, tenderness, and a pleasant bounciness. The chicken meat served on the side tastes like traditional farm-raised "walking chicken," a term used in Vietnamese cuisine, providing an authentic flavor and texture.Upon entering, you're greeted by friendly staff who promptly seat you. During my visit, the restaurant was initially quiet, but it quickly filled up, showcasing its popularity with a bustling lunch crowd and a line of customers waiting to be seated.I highly recommend visiting this place for an authentic and delicious dining experience.“
“First time there. I ordered online for pick up. Mixed and 2 piece coconut shrimp and a drink. Spent $30.00 The drink was good but too small. Both the chicken, shrimp were... ok ok all of it was good, it was delicious just the macaroni tasted like fishy, shrimpy idk other that def would go again.“
“Stopped here while in the area in need of something quick that wouldn’t make me feel crumby after. So glad we found this place. I got the beef and broccoli bowl and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had a shrimp bowlAnd he love it as well. We will def be “
“Happy Bee, Happy MeFormerly Rice on Dish, Happy Bee Kitchen has been on my weekly food rotation. Delicious Chinese food, served by friendly & caring staff who remembers their customers. As per usual, lunch specials are what I go for when it comes to Chinese food.Stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions-So tender! Beef, in all it's iterations, is my litmus test for a Chinese restaurant, and Happy Bee's stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions is a winner. Packed with flavor, I'd order this again in a heartbeat. That is, if I don't choose Mongolian beef.Peking duck-Love that crispy skin! The Peking duck was succulently decadent. The meat was unctuous with all the duck fat, and when paired with baos, vegetables & sauce, a filling & satisfying entree.Curry chicken-Normally I don't order curry dishes, as most restaurants (usually Thai) serve curry with more potatoes than protein. Here, at Happy Bee, I'm delighted to say their curry chicken was predominantly chicken. Oh so tender chicken! The bell peppers & curry provided a good amount of heat, enhanced by the addition of chili oil on my part. Really good!Service has been excellent. The staff have always been hospitable & cheerful the times I've been at Happy Bee. A good amount of seating via tables & booths, with 1 large banquet table w/ a Lazy Susan. Parking is at the 99 Ranch Plaza, with Happy Bee located next to It's Boba Time & Let's Sea Bag n' Roll at the southside of the plaza.Wonderful food, wonderful people. Happy Bee Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat weekly. I'm having a delightful time exploring their menu, and am looking forward to what culinary delight awaits me next. Highly recommend!“
“This one of my favorite sushi restaurant. I like the friendly environment here and also the music. I always order sunrise, mango no5 and my favorite one is Panic Attack. And I also like salmon and eel of this restaurant. Tommy and Ono is the best sushi chef I have ever met. And the service also very good too. I will definitely come back to eat at this restaurant many more time for sure.“
“I love this place. Owner and workers are awesome. But I have to give them 4 stars. I was there this morning and one of the customers in front of me was vigorously scratching his hands and body then placed his arms on the shelf above the food. When I told him not to do that because it's UNSANITARY. He then blew up and the workers made it look like it was my fault. That's fine, because maybe they didn't see what happened. I am no beside myself on reporting this to the heath department.“
“I have tried a fair share of vegan restaurants being from the Bay Area but I have never had an array of delicious vegan options quite like this! For apps, we tried the crab cakes, Cajun fries, and grits.Hands down, the crab cakes were the clear winner. The texture and flavor profile were the closest resemblance to non-vegan crab cakes that I’ve ever tried ?I don’t normally like grits but these grits [pleasantly] surprised me. The Cajun fries were also really good! The soy meat in the fries were a very similar chewy texture to carne asada so everything had its own merit! For entrees, we got the loco moco, the Hawaiian dish, and the wet burrito. The loco moco and the Hawaiian dishes were my favorite. The loco moco patty was super tender, and the pairing with the vegan egg on top with the gravy sauce just made for an amazing combination of savory flavors. The Hawaiian dish with the greens was a nice break from the heaviness of the grits and loco moco. The wet burrito is ginormous. Definitely ordered way too much overall, but we don’t regret having leftovers for the next day. :) everything is too good not to try!We also got complimentary beignets at the end of the meal! The service was impeccable. Thank you for an amazing experience!“
“I came here after visiting another ginko katsu in diamond bar because it was so good when I had it there. I was a little disappointed with the bento boxes, they weren't as good. the other location came with more side dishes+ pickled veggies. while it's probably really good standalone, i was kind of disappointed that it wasn't up to the same level as the other location :( however the atmosphere and staff is perfect!!“
“Called in an order today based on recommendations on Yelp! The person taking my order was very quick and helpful. He said it would be ready in 15/20 minutes. Located on Del Amo/Bellflower it was easy to find. Large lot but very busy as there are a few food stores there. There was a small line ordering when we arrived. Two of the six tables available were taken. I noticed on the menu board Wednesdays are $1 a wing day. We were served by a very friendly associate who grabbed our order promptly. My order consisted of 6 Garlic Parm Wings 6 Sweet and Spicy Wings. Garlic Noodles with Tri Tip and a Ninja Quesadilla The food was great, very tasty and spicy where it needed to be. Will definitely go again“
“Great place for Thai food if you are in the area. They make flavorful and savory options with mix spice levels as requested. Staff is super friendly and clean restroom. Limited parking spots closeby in the complex.Vegetarian options: You can always substitute meat for veggies and or tofu.“
“I was surprised to discover this nice restaurant in this area! From outside the building doesn't look great but the food and service level is magnificent! The food might be easily compared with 5 star restaurants. Not to mention smooth jazz music making the atmosphere romantic and relaxing. The staff is super nice and does everything to make you feel comfortable and happy. I'll definitely come back!“
“My family loves this place. They are friendly with great food. The filet mignon pho is Favorite. The shrimp, and chicken pho are good as well. I recommend their fresh made turmeric noodle. My family likes their other fresh made white noodle. Do not forget their pork, chicken, or shrimp sliders, you will not regret going here.“
“Solid cozy spot for pho that won't kill your wallet! With pho these days at $12 and higher, it's always good to know which spots still have bowls at $10. For $10 you can get a tasty good sized bowl of pho here. They also have a ton of other options such as rice plates, and even hotpot! They offer a mini Tom Yum hotpot for one, only costing $15. This is a nice option if you're craving hotpot but don't want to spend too much or don't want to share. The few times I've been here, I've noticed it doesn't get too busy. This is good for us as we get faster service and don't have to wait much for food, but they definitely deserve more customers! Definitely recommend Pho K-Tea if you're in the FV/HB area.“
“This place has been opened for ten months - how could I have not known about this? Until my neighborhood friends recommended this place. No more making the drive in traffic out to Savoy in Alhambra when craving for Hainan chicken rice. It's a small restaurant tucked behind Popeye's fried chicken adjacent to Auntie Anne's pretzel and Jamba Juice. They have a limited menu that specializes in chicken rice. For my first try I kept it simple with Hainan chicken rice to go order. There is regular and a larger size portions. The perfectly sliced boneless chicken sits on top of ginger chicken broth flavored rice comes with minced cucumber slices, and three sauces sambal, soy sauce, and ginger sauce. There is also a small side of chicken broth. The chicken tastes clean, no MSG detected. Next time I'll be back to try the fried chicken. No cash accepted, pay by cashless credit card or Apple Pay at the kiosk.“
“Food is excellent. Some staff are friendly, some look miserable to be there. Better to get there early! They do get busy fast during lunch/dinner hours. My go-to menu is the marinated beef belly (toro) with either sukiyaki or chicken broth. Taken few of my friends there and they absolutely love this place. Party of 2 must sit at the bar and 3 or more, tables. Writing this review is making me hungry. I'm going tomorrow lol“
“The serving size is worth the affordable sushi prices compared to other sushi places. The quality might not always be the best, but it hits the spot whenever I'm craving sushi and don't feel like spending more than $20 with their BOGO 50% off deal.“
“I really enjoyed the food with all the dishes which are amazingly delicious and well-presented. They just launched chilly sauce with lemon grass which tastes has a unique flavor that can mix with anything and give a kick of spiciness. It’s definitely a go-to place!“
“I've heard of this place and wanted to try it out since I was eating in the same plaza. I liked that this place has some more unique flavors than your typical boba place. I opted for the Ba-La Matcha, which consisted of pure guava nectar, lactose free milk, and matcha. The drink was very refreshing and tropical. The boba had a great texture to it. Overall, I was pleased with my selection.“
“Loved the bowls at Ben's Fast Food. Everyone was very friendly. Service was quick. Loved the murals. Looks like there will be a nice table area coming soon. Parking is available, but it's hard to figure out where to park and enter.Dietary restrictions: We came because everything was gluten, dairy and soy free. I need all of those restrictions.“

“I ordered the Beef Boat Noodle Soup (spicy). It was so good I didn't want to stop eating. I left very happy and satisfied. Usually I don't leave reviews but they were so friendly and the food was delicious. They deserve a good rating.“
“This place is fast !! Depending on what time you go. Never at lunchtime, maybe 1-2 hours after... And before Dinner time around 3-5-California Rolls are akways fresh & tasty- I Often get a Variety Lunch or Dinner.Try it, you'll like it !!... yummy ? ? ?“
“Cozy sushi spot with a huge variety of sushi choices. Even the Bento box offered a couple sushi choices vs just chicken, beef, salmon. Downside was the service was pretty bad. Hopefully it was a fluke day because I plan on going back to give it another try. My guests food came before mine...the table next to us that arrived quite a bit after us, got their food before me. Not sure how their communication failed but it did. I hope to do a new review next time I'm there and hopefully the service is more efficient. ?“
“If you love fusion food, then this is "dPLACE" for you. You have to order the OC galbi, prepared in the Korean banchan style. The meat is incredibly tender and juicy, served with pickled sides and traditional sauces that elevate the flavor! Don't miss out on their appetizers, like the refreshing grapefruit burrata and salmon carpaccio. If you enjoy a little spice or prefer something creamy, the jjampong pasta or the seafood risotto are also great options. End your meal on a sweet note with any of their desserts and drinks. The servers were attentive and I loved the color changing lamp. This spot is perfect for events, date nights or hangout with your friends!“
“It was our first time here and I have to say THE BROTH WAS SO SAVORY. We got the pho tai with the Mor special for an extra $4 which was a very good deal. They only have thin pho noodle here but the noodle was perfectly done. One of the thing about this place is that the portion was super huge compare to other pho places in OC. Service was great and fast during their rush hours. The restaurant has a very artsy and hipster vibe. We would definitely come back again when we are in the area for Knotts berry farm.“
“They do sushi rolls well! Super busy but what can you expect with a place on Main Street. Not very gluten friendly. Had to flag the staff down several times for various reasons. I would recommend this place for the location and if you prefer gluten filled sushi rolls. Met up with a friend here and it was a decent choice.“
“I had a company dinner here and was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place is! Every dish we tried was delicious and nicely plated. Favorites were the rib-eye rolls, moon cakes, and crispy shrimp spring roll. I tried something I've never had before for the entree, a sizzling sole plate with vermicelli noodles, grilled onions, and a delicious sauce of fermented turmeric spice. Light amount of heat, the fermented vibe was subtle (not like eating bagoong), and everything combined into a salad was great. Nice collection of textures and flavors. The bartender crafted the cocktail menu herself, and she is an artist! Each drink has unique combinations of flavors, they all taste so good, and they look impressive. I had the dragon fruit margarita with taijin rim and the Taro Hurricane, perfect taro and coconut flavor. Can't wait to try the bourbon Thai Tea with salted cream cocktail!Service was excellent all around, from walking in the door and being greeted by the hosts, to our server answering our long list of questions about the menu, to the bartender helping us strategize our cocktail choices, to the entire bussing staff making sure our tables were cleared as soon as possible and waters always full.Would definitely come here again for work dinners and family dinners.“
“I've been coming here for quite some time. The person in the front is very kind and always greets me in the warm and nice way. I have recommended this restaurant to a few people and their experiences were the same. My go-to is the Combo A, It comes with Rice and Teriyaki chicken, two rolls, salad and gyozas. The food is always fresh, and the taste is delicious. I can't stop eating at this restaurant. The food is great.“
“This is the best noodle place in Long Beach. They have the best spring rolls I’ve ever ate(they are HUGE) and are extremely delicious. The sauce is the cherry on top. My go to dish is the #24 new ka tang. The juicy chicken paired with the savory noodles is just so yummy?? I love iced tea so with the drink I choose the Thai iced tea. It’s a classic. There is also a choice of combodian noodles and viatnamese pho. If you were to get that, I would recommend the seaphood or the beef steak.“
“ATTENTION! Fuji's Famous Burgers is HB's local unsung hero with the mightiest mashup of Polynesian, Japanese and traditional American fast food flavors. This hodgepodge of a menu spews a mix of dishes so alluringly hot, it has to make an erupting Hawaiian volcano jealous.Visit this hardcore grub spot! Smack dab in the heart of north Huntington Beach. On the inside, not much has changed since the 70's, but why should it? When you can lean in on a classic experience this authentic, there is no need to change. Nor would I want it to! Hey Fuji's... your the best at what you do! Keep on truckin' my friends.“
“After bowling a couple games, I decided to stop in Cal Bowl Coffee Shop for a bite to eat. Went with something simple and healthy. A salad with the works. After placing my order (I was the only customer) I started wondering what was taking so long. Grab the salad out of the fridge and serve. Much to my surprise, the guy made the salad there on the spot. Fresh ingredients, including bacon, turkey, cheese, crisp fresh veggies and slices of egg! No pre-made salad sitting for days ... made there on the spot, and wow! Excellent. Seems everything is pretty much made this way. Definitely worth a short wait because the food and flavor is rewarding. AND my order was just a salad. LoL. Will be back to sample some of the special doughnuts and a cooked meal. Don't let the 'cafe' fool you, this is quality dinning.“
“This is my mom's and my son's favorite restaurant. Until my mom moved to SoCal, she hadn't had Pick Up Stix. Now she keeps finding new favorite meals. My son is fairly picky, but loves the House Chicken. We all enjoy the friendly service and super clean facilities.“
