“Stopped by in late morning so most of the donuts are gone. Plenty of parking since they have their own parking lot within the plaza. The location is convenient since it’s right next to the freeway entrance so that’s why I stopped by. The place is clean, well organized with couple seating inside as well as outside. Nice, friendly and cool guy with great service. Got a couple donuts and an iced coffee…didn’t know that it’s VNese iced coffee so it’s abit sweet for me and the cost for it is almost $7 (yike) but it’s in a nice cup. Donuts are nice and soft with nicely generous filling. Will coffee and a stuffed filling lemon donut & 6 donut holes cost $11 (rounded up), yup, the iced coffee cost more then I expected, but it’s good overall. Will stop by to try their other sandwiches (looks good) next time.“

“KD's is a great, family-owned local donut shop that has been around for decades. I've been coming here regularly for the past year. They offer a variety of items for breakfast and lunch. From classic donuts to a few fancy options, all made fresh daily, and that's just half of what they offer.

Sometimes, I'll grab a quick donut (or two) and coffee; other times, I'll get a breakfast croissant sandwich. Everything is fresh, and the sandwiches are made to order. Bottled drinks, smoothies, teas, juices, and more are also available.

The owner and staff are friendly, and I've noticed that many long-time locals always come in. The little shop is well-organized and clean. I love seeing the donuts displayed early in the morning when the cases are filled. There aren't any tables to sit and dine in, but it's still a great spot to grab a treat. I highly recommend.“

“I absolutely love this place! I found Toast & Dough on DoorDash and it’s become my special morning treat. My go to is the Large Vietnamese Coffee & Egg & Cheese Croissant. Occasionally, I’ll switch to the Avocado Egg & Cheese for a $1 more. “I like to stop at this donut place when I'm in the area. They have a large variety of donuts and they all look delicious. Prices are reasonable. I usually get a mocha ice blended drink. The man who helped me last time fulfilled my request to have the drink extra blended (sometimes the ice is too chunky to drink through a straw when it's not blended enough). He was kind about helping me out. The lady is so kind too. I was having a rough time one day and she shared some kind words with me that kept me going. “I can’t believe this place is still here. I moved from Long Beach over 16 years ago. Back in the late 80s to late 90s my family would go every Friday to the video 1 next door and then pick up some donuts and ham and cheese croissants. Glad it’s still around.“

I’ve been to Granny’s a couple of times and have to recommend getting a sprinkle cake and original glazed cake donut.

Very interesting process of making them and fun names : original sin, hot single, PB cup, Hail Mary and lilikoi.
You can get an assortment box from 4 pieces to a dozen.
Friendly and patient service: it's not easy deciding which one to NOT get.
Also got iced Hawaiian vanilla latte and and iced Hawaiian chocolate drink.
One bathroom but no changing table for infants or toddlers.
Lot of merchandise including coffee beans and shirts, bags, mugs, hats etc...
Open air seating but our group took up the one long table (10 adults).
Many more stools available.
I really enjoyed the lilikoi or passion fruit donut.
You can get a pack of donut holes dipped in one flavor I suppose.“

“Man I found my new favorite donut shop, i really recommend their cinnamon rolls or cinnamon twists. I went yesterday and was greeted, and told some good recommendations and had to come back a second time today. If you’re searching for a good family donut shop this would be the place to go. Prices are great too other shops want more and don’t even taste as great, I tried a smoothie and got my girlfriend a coffee and wow we are both amazed with the quality. I’d describe this place as very clean and I even seen a bee come out the place the other day that is always a great sign, bees only like natural things and avoid most bakeries because they use crap ingredients but not only was it good but it was very sanitary inside, the workers really care and deserve more customers!

Fast forward 27 years later, it is still the same owner behind the counter! The memory she has is remarkable! As there was a period of time that I didn't live in long beach and it was years before I came back here! That first time coming back, her tone was just that, like a family member who hasn't seen you in a long time! Remembered who I was, asked about my grandmother, mother and brother, and now that I have kids of my own, she has met my 2 daughters as well!
