“Let's go walking Yes ok.“
“The lady that runs this place is great :) She always makes you feel at home. It’s really dark inside and i like it that way. Mixed crowd that all get along just fine. The drinks are really reasonably priced. The BEST jukebox around. It has everything new and old. There is an old Star Wars pinball machine, a couple of pool tables, a shuffleboard? game, a small train that makes its rounds above your head for only 25 cents, and surprisingly nice restrooms. I love it here. It is my favorite local watering hole. When i drink a little too much, get a little loud and rowdy, or start making out with my girlfriends, they don’t even mind. Definitely my kind of place.“
“If you’re looking for fine dining, craft cocktails, and a classy vibe… keep driving. But if you want a place where the jukebox might play Johnny Cash followed by Snoop Dogg, and where your bartender pours shots like they’re trying to solve world peace — welcome to The Zoo.
This bar is exactly what it sounds like: a glorious habitat for humans of all species. You’ve got the pool-table gorillas pounding out games all night, the karaoke parrots squawking “Bohemian Rhapsody” like their lives depend on it, and the mysterious nocturnal creatures in the corner who may or may not have been sitting there since the ’90s.
The drinks? Cheap enough that you question the math. The vibe? Somewhere between “your uncle’s garage” and “Vegas at 4am.” The decor? Well, let’s just say it’s a museum of questionable choices — but you wouldn’t want it any other way.
Highlights include:
• Strong pours that could tranquilize an actual zoo animal.
• Bathrooms that tell a story (not always a happy one, but definitely a story).
• A crowd so eclectic, you’ll leave with at least one new best friend and probably a conspiracy theory.
Bottom line: If Santa Rosa had a spirit animal, it would live at The Zoo, holding a Bud Light in one paw and a cue stick in the other.“

“Friendly place, happy people and a great menu. Don't leave without breaking your diet with their Beignets!“
“I’ve gone to the Forestville club several times and I always have a good time. Last night I went and when I left, I did not feel normal. I had a couple beers, but I felt very intoxicated and very unwell the next day which does not happen to me from two beers. Ladies watch yourselves don’t leave your drink unattended and watch them pour. I didn’t leave my beer but the bartenders back is to me when he poured, that’s not gonna happen again. I’m 57 and I know what a hangover feels like, this was not that.“
“Always love Spanckys one request, please invite Sourflower back to perform!“
“After five hours on the road, this place greets you like a warm hug. Exceptional doormen and front desk folks us settled us in our room, Sarah at the Café made sure we wanted for nothing when it came to fresh, pleasing local fare and drink. This area is within a minutes-long Uber ride or walk to some outstanding restaurants, but if you are searching for a representative array of small plates or entrees, there’s no need to leave the premises. Enjoy!“
“Amazing food! Service was great as well. I really good happy hour! Empanadas were good, Limpia, cheesesteak slider and more.“

“Everyone searches for their go to dive, their Cheers.. the place that’s open early and open late, has 5 star bartenders with one star humor but you love it… the place you can depend on, that feels safe, that feels welcoming. This is the ‘40.“

“Specialty cocktails are delicious but their service is lacking, especially during the week. Took 12 minutes for a server to take my order, two were busy preparing others drinks and the other two were busy talking about personal business. The vibe and ambiance of the bar is pleasant but plan on waiting for a couple of drinks. For a bar this nice, service should be top tier.“

“Great little pub with fun happy hour drinks + quality HH food for a sweet price. The service is awesome- ask for Talia, and the bartender Jessie makes a perfect old fashioned! The well bourbon they use for it is Buffalo Trace which is included on the HH price. YAY! The tacos are tasty and big enough to share. Add some guac and fries with their trio dipping sauces, you'll definitely be leaving happy and your wallet too!“

“This delightful local Watering Hole features a full Suite of available beverages and some of the best pub fare I have ever encountered. Karaoke nights are always fun and the karaoke hosts are some of the best people and though you wouldn't know to look at it from the outside it is a queer friendly establishment and safe space.“
“Awesome brew maker and wonderful variety of Belgian style beer🍺“

“As a Human Resource Regional Manager I wish more businesses were like this. Outstanding staff and Outstanding food and drinks. I’m a math major so I rate my experience at Stark’s Steak & Seafood, a 3.14 out of 3.14. I look forward to going to Stark’s again. I wish everywhere was like Stark’s. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Stark’s sets the example for others in the field. Ladies and gentlemen take notes. This is how you conduct a successful business. - Pierce“

“One of the nicer places in Santa Rosa downtown. High quality food and drinks and suitable for business or personal. I had the Beef cheeks bourgignon which was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. The apps were quite unique and tasty as well. Though I was there for a business dinner, would easily take my family or a date there (if I were still single).“

“This recommendation is from Howard E. Daniel (Pen-for-Rent owner): "Five years after Tisza -- pronounced TEE-sa, one of our all-time favorite restaurants -- left its former location in Windsor, my wife and I finally checked out its beautiful new home in Healdsburg. To our delight, we found that Chef Krisztian Karkus and his wife Alena (who has now moved out of the back of the house to charm guests as a friendly, attentive hostess/waitress) have made their restaurant's tastefully appointed new incarnation even better than we remembered it. What makes Tisza special is not just the wonderful food, drink and ambience but the sprinkling of rare (in California Wine Country) offerings on its menu, including mouthwatering Central and East European delights -- schnitzels, goulash, spaetzle, potato dumplings, wild mushrooms and, OH YES!, apple strudel -- reflecting the couple's background (he's Hungarian and she's Czech). While we didn't manage to sample everything that tempted us in this first of what will surely be many return visits, we'd be remiss if we didn't single out for high praise the house-smoked salmon with dill mustard sauce, pickled mustard seed and crème fraiche served over potato latkes. We think this fabulous starter might be more aptly named "salmon ambrosia." (If anyone can transform a fish into food for the gods, Krisztian's your guy!) So if your taste buds are hankering for something a little different, Tisza is the place to take them for a real treat."“

“Shout out to Chris the manager who went out of his way to accommodate us. We are Hyatt members and thought we could use our club access awards. Unfortunately this particular restaurant is its own identity and therefore they don’t allow you to use the awards. Chris however made an exception and allowed us to use them. It was a very busy day with a bit of a wait but we were really taken care of in an amazing way. Thank you!“

“Country bar, local flavor. Reminds me of the Lost Dog in East Dennis, just a lot more history as it was founded in 1859.“

“My first visit three weeks ago was awesome and not a one-off. I could have easily cut-n-paste and swapped the names from my last review three weeks ago (see Davo M) for this new review but it would not do justice to those that provided outstanding service twice since then. Nikki (Nikaila) and team deserve their own recognition on both occasions.
On Wednesday, Dec 3, Nikki was happily and professionally tending bar with utmost efficiency and Kyle was providing his usual A+ service. Nikki, with her great smile, asked what I'll have and filled it expeditiously. Kyle was busy tending customers with his usual welcoming hospitality. I had the 6 oz. sirloin cooked to perfection
On Friday, Dec 5, Nikki was at it again slinging drinks to customers and servers with lightning speed all while keeping the bar spotless. This time Macy was serving the bar with a flair and smile to behold. She graciously and patiently answered my menu questions without a flinch. I also met and talked briefly with the shift manager, Alex, who had the same great attitude as all the staff. He treated me as if he knew me for ten years. I reaffirmed to him how appreciative I was that no matter who was on shift they made me feel welcomed, valued, and respected. Even kitchen staff, Clayton, while bringing in a fresh load of bar glasses cheerfully asked how I and my meal was. How great is that? I wish I had the chef(s) name(s) because each meal was cooked to perfection not to mention delicious.
I worked for the corporate entity in three major companies. They all had one mission critical aspect in common. The business culture flows top to bottom. You have to tip your hat to the owner, and management because this Chili's hospitable atmosphere is truly a team effort.“
