“6 cocktailer foodies tried a new place last night night - Goldfinch. Great cocktails, extensive and creative menu that delivered and attentive service. In fact the menu had so many creative offerings, it was hard to choose. We ended up trying many small plates and splitting one large. There wasn’t a mediocre plate in the bunch! 6 out of 6 said they would come again. Bonus - The Third Pig, a favorite Craft Cocktail hang out is right across the street for a nightcap!“

“Tradewinds is my favorite downtown cotati bar for sure. Spacious inside and they have the back patio area which is also decent sized. Atmosphere is good, and they have darts and pool so you're not just standing around with a drink in your hand.

Parking: Decent sized lot in the back but on Thursdays it can get pretty packed and you might have to park elsewhere cause the damn college kids take all the spots.“

In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. “We came for happy hour and it was great!! They had good deals for oysters, we got 1/2 dozen for $14! The drinks were also great, we loved the Kir Royale. The menu overall seems pretty pricey, and some of the descriptions are tricky to understand if you don’t know words in French, so be willing to ask your server or do some research.

The ambiance in here is great. It’s such a cute small place with really great furniture and decor. Would definitely recommend for a date night, or for a good spot to try some new foods!“

“My daughter recommended this restaurant and I took my sister there last night. The food was very good, and would totally go back again. BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? It's not cheap to eat out any more as it is, and to not to accept a gift certificate is BS!“

“We had a great dining experience at Bacchus. They don't publish the menu because it is always changing. I enjoyed a beef short-rib with gnocchi dinner that was off the charts. My wife had their wagyu beef burger which also was great. When it came time for desert, our waitperson treated us to off-the menu bread pudding which was being prepped for the next day. Quite the treat!“

“Highly recommend making this a must stay place if you’re in the Sonoma area! The resort is so funky, fun and makes you feel special while you visit. The vibe at the Lazeaway Club is awesome. The food is mostly shareable bites, the cocktails were delicious. The DJ on Sunday by the pool left us wanting to stay longer! The best thing about the resort is the staff!
