“We recently went for a late-ish lunch on a Sunday, and it was very good. The selection has something for everyone.
We had a picky child, a vegetarian, a Keto eater, and 2 we'll try it alls in our party, and we all had plenty to pick from, and it was all delicious.
The White Clam Pizza was a surprise favorite. I loved my potato gnocchi, and the serving was quite a lot. The spaghetti with clams was also a large serving and delicious. The meatballs had a great balance, and my kiddo liked the pesto pasta with extra cheese.
We capped off our meal with the cookie plate, and that did not disappoint. All four items were very tasty and kid approved (kid ate them all). The atmosphere feels like grandma's house, but without the risk of your kids breaking anything.
I'd definitely say family friendly, or nice for a couple, and a good space for a group.
They have a great drink selection also if you're looking for a cocktail, or wine to go with your meal. I really liked my Elderflower Italian Soda though. We'll be back.“

“I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

Where is this place? Downtown. This place exists. Special thanks to our hostess at the Pizza restaurant upstairs Miranda! She was amazing. Her personality and conversation about the bar Belvedere added personality to the already breathtaking restaurant. The bar with a bistro in a city that closes early? Yes, bring a party for the large round tables or sit at the bar. In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. We had a great meal hanging out in the restaurant before mixing drinks downstairs. Santa Rosa is lucky to have Belvedere. The bar keeps people from driving to San Francisco in the rain the weekend. “One of the nicer places in Santa Rosa downtown. High quality food and drinks and suitable for business or personal. I had the Beef cheeks bourgignon which was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. The apps were quite unique and tasty as well. Though I was there for a business dinner, would easily take my family or a date there (if I were still single).“

“Love this place and food , but I don’t like handed a machine while server is standing there and I need to see if bill is correct and what their tip will be Set the final bill down and give me time . Today they were busy at lunch , so not the fastest service. Great food.“

“My daughter recommended this restaurant and I took my sister there last night. The food was very good, and would totally go back again. BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? It's not cheap to eat out any more as it is, and to not to accept a gift certificate is BS!“

I really wish I could remember the young lady's name that suggested the hide out started with an A she's the one that made my reservation for me and what an incredible service she did by suggesting the hideout she was kind and professional, and Joshua was funny and entertaining.“

“This was an excellent place to meet a friend and have a quiet talk by a fire. The night we went was very quiet. Sadly, they were having some issues with their ownership and their liquor license is not valid at the moment so we went to have a glass of wine, but I had to buy our own and bring it in. It was lovely though and the food was great. Special shout out to Shawna our server who was lovely.“

“Goldfinch is a beautiful restaurant and one where it's quiet enough to have good conversations. The service is attentive without being intrusive. And the food is original and delicious. A perfect place for special occasions as well spontaneous dinners out.“
