“We love Goldfinch and have had many great experiences there. This time was not the same. The service was slow and lacking and our server was not the usual Goldfinch type. She was less friendly, definitely not helpful with wine selection, and just generally inattentive. We won't let this experience keep us away though. We'll be back!“

In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. “I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? “My recommendation is: Please, manage visitors with kids, who allows them to scream and run like a crazy in a public place, who not trained about etiquette how to behave at public. Work with leadership team of Double tree hotel together to fix the issue in a future. We like to come Baccus, because of delicious food, great service and very quiet environment. Last visit on February 14th, it was very noisy from hotel visitors with kids. Sitting at the table in restaurant we even can't hear each other because of screaming kids. Please,solve the issue in a future!“

“The fig and prosciutto pizza was great. So was the lemoncello cocktail. The service was great too, except they forgot to honor my special occasion request to celebrate my sister's birthday. I didn't say anything because I wanted it to be a surprise, but the request was noted in my reservation. They apologized, said it was a computer glitch. We still had fun! Raphael, our server was a delight To top off the evening, we saw Thunder from Down Under show! That made our night!“
