I really wish I could remember the young lady's name that suggested the hide out started with an A she's the one that made my reservation for me and what an incredible service she did by suggesting the hideout she was kind and professional, and Joshua was funny and entertaining.“

Sadly, they were having some issues with their ownership and their liquor license is not valid at the moment so we went to have a glass of wine, but I had to buy our own and bring it in. “Had lunch there today. I had a French dip sandwich made of prime rib.. I had the sandwich, packed with prime rib, plus au jus. The fun was crispy, but not ready. As a side, they provided tater tots, which I happen to love. I asked if I could also have a side of coleslaw, which was delicious and was added without charge. It was about the best French dip that I’ve ever had in 67 years. The bun was crispy, but not heavy. Dipped into the au jus, it was heaven.They are good hearted people, and they should be patronized.“

In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. “Love the food here, it's always delicious and fresh. Calamari is the best I've had in the county. Only complaint about the food is that the menu doesn't change enough. Apps are great, but limited entree options seem to stay the same and none wow me so I usually end up getting apps. Only real rub is the french waitress who we've had a couple times now. She's very prickly and always rushes away from our table before we're done speaking/ordering. This last time she even was taking our drinks at lightening speed and got my order, my dad's, and then skipped over my mom completely before speeding off 🥴 Is she overworked or just an unpleasant person? The bartender on the other hand is superb and very kind 👌“

“I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

This was our first time dining here, and we were blown away by the level of customer service. When my husband placed his order, we were told they were out of one of the ingredients needed for a drink he wanted. Rather than simply suggesting something else, the manager actually left the restaurant, went to Petaluma Market, picked up the missing item, and returned so the bar could make the drink exactly as ordered.

I honestly can't remember the last time a restaurant went so far out of its way to do something so thoughtful and genuinely kind for a customer. That level of care and attentiveness is incredibly rare these days.

The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the food was delicious as well. I would happily return for the service alone, but the excellent food makes it an even easier choice. Highly recommend!“
