“Had an amazing experience booking a 14-person dinner here! Nick was so easy to work with, incredibly responsive, and so patient with a lot of very annoying last minute changes to numbers and dietary restrictions. We opted for a prix fixe menu and the food was DELICIOUS and plentiful. The service was attentive and professional. I would recommend Goldfinch for any occasion and especially for a group dinner. They are highly skilled professionals who know how to provide great food and an exceptional hospitality experience.“

“All the staff were very attentive and friendly. The wine selection is very nice. We had escargo, Coquille St Jacques, pear endive salad, beef cheeks bourguignon, bread, and butter. For dessert, I had pear tarte tatin with ice cream. Everything was prepared very well and was delicious.“

BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? “Tony's of North Beach is our favorite spot when we're with a big group. We always snag the “Hide Out,” which is the cozy back room off the main dining area. You really should check it out! In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. “Went on a Tuesday and sat outside. On the way in, I passed some colleagues enjoying happy hour inside the hotel bar, which I believe is served by the same restaurant. They insisted the cauliflower bites and polenta fries are must-haves, so I'll definitely be back to try those!

The service was a 10 out of 5. I truly can't rave enough about our waitress, Shawna. She was attentive, fast, friendly, and set an entirely new bar for customer service.

The food was exceptional for a hotel restaurant and I cannot get over he exceptional wait staff. I wish every server provided the kind of white-glove service Shawna did. She absolutely made the experience!!

She mentioned the cheeseboard highlights figs grown from the restaurant garden and they used to make mojitos with their own fresh mint.

“Highly recommend making this a must stay place if you’re in the Sonoma area! The resort is so funky, fun and makes you feel special while you visit. The vibe at the Lazeaway Club is awesome. The food is mostly shareable bites, the cocktails were delicious. The DJ on Sunday by the pool left us wanting to stay longer! The best thing about the resort is the staff! Top notch and we can’t wait to visit soon:)“
