“I was in town traveling for work and stopped into Bacari Sherman Oaks for dinner. As a party of one, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, where I ended up having an excellent experience. I struck up a conversation with the bartender, Skyler, who was not only super friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu.

Since it was my first time there, I asked Skyler to choose the dishes for me and he absolutely nailed it. Every plate was on point.

Highly recommend Bacari for anyone visiting the area and if you can, grab a seat at the bar and let Skyler take care of you. You won't be disappointed!“

“Little Izaka-ya is my go-to neighborhood sushi spot, and it never disappoints! The servers always remember me, which adds such a nice, welcoming touch to every visit. It feels like a place I can count on for a great time and delicious food every single time. The sushi rolls are consistently fresh and full of flavor, but my personal favorite is the white fish roll—YUM! It’s always a treat. I also love how easy it is to make a reservation, making dining here super convenient. Whether it’s for a casual night out or a special dinner, Little Izaka-ya always delivers. Highly recommend!“

“Love the atmosphere of this comfortably casual bar. Ample outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to sip a beer or two relaxing in the sunshine. I don’t eat meat so I haven’t tried the burgers, which come highly recommended. The garlic parmesan fries are excellent and enough for 3 people. Sorry I can’t say the same for the cauliflower wings or pretzels with cheese sauce. But I had the best-poured beer of my life—a fresh Scrimshaw pilsner in a sparkling-clean glass. See attached video. Despite the venue’s name, they now offer cocktails as well as beer and wine.“

“I came in on 05/10/2025 around 5pm.

Food: Tried their Tsukemen for the first time. It was served with two tender slices of pork and marinated egg. The broth was thick and salty, pairs so well with the jumbo ramen noodles.
They have a new Fried Calamari appetizer on the menu, it comes with I believe a sriracha mayo dip. The batter was well seasoned and the calamari itself is not rubbery. The batter got burned a bit, but I do not mind at all.

Service: It was perfect. The staff were attentive.

Atmosphere: The dining space was clean. Gives off a typical Ramen Restaurant vibe. It has counter seating.

Overall the food tasted great. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
I don't go to Tsujita anymore for Tsukemen. Kai Ramen all the way.“

The curry dip was hearty and creamy and paired perfectly with the crunchy roti. The fried rice was the perfect balance of fresh produce and indulgent fried goodness. It's the kind of amazing dish that leaves you feeling satiated but not bloated! All of my compliments to the chef.

“My husband and I just recently discovered this Gem about little over a month ago . We’ve already been here twice and Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!!!!!! First and foremost, the customer service is top tier!!!! Mike is absolutely amazing , he’s very attentive and has such a beautiful soul . ☺️ as for the food , it is absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! The pizza is soooo good the first time we went I had the Margherita pizza thin crust, the second time I went I had a classic pepperoni thin crust , both times were delicious. Add the hot honey and oh ny goodness ….. it makes it even better!! We also had the buffalo wings , and garlic fries . Everything tasted amazing! We will be stopping by here often.“

“First visit but not last. Reserved booth for birthday dinner. Cozy, food tasty, service wonderful, blueberry lemon drop martini yummy. There were two parties there but they’re closed off from main dining room so it wasn’t noisy. Not fast food. They don’t rush you. We were there almost 3 hours. Nice spot for special occasion. Do make a reservation as it filled up after 6:30 on a Saturday night. There’ was live piano music as well as a separate, small sports bar that looked welcoming.“

“The place is great. Myself and my wife came there for a pizza (truffle) the place was still not full and due to some difficulties in the kitchen. We had to wait very long time for the pizza and started to get really hungry angry.. my wife went to check on the order but still did not help. Not a good start! But then.. the pizza arrive, the stuff apologized and the pizza.. oh my good, was so good. One of the best we had for a while.. so we could forgive and the problems they had.. I really enjoyed the pizza so , even though there are so many places to eat in downtown Ventura, we found ourself in the next time back for another one.. the stuff was surprised to see us and giving them second chance and promised us the it will not happen. Again, and it was true, we ordered a great salad that arrived in minutes and few minutes after , the pizza was ready and again wonderful. I want to mention the girl Anna that was taking our orders and help in the kitchen. She was very kind polite and helpful, and new how to take responsibility when issues happened (I appreciated that) and was totally on her game the second night , and made sure everything will be great for us. ! Parking: After I think 11ish the $20 valet parking lot is free. If you're going early park at the ralphs down the street and walk to the bar.

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar 21+ they ID as soon as you walk in.

Wheelchair accessibility: I don't think I saw any stairs to the entrance. But the set up inside is fairly crowded and dark idk how accessible that is unless you're a paraolympian with nightvision“

“Had steak and lobster with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was delicious. Mel was our server and did a great job. It was my birthday and my grandson told the server. Next thing I know and Mel brought a dish with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and strawberries with a candle in it. Great restaurant! Really enjoyed our time there!“

“I had always passed this placed but not anymore.

I went solo one night and easily spent over $100, with food and drinks.

The quality of the food was amazing and I hope it keeps that same quality when I return. The drinks were spot on. Excellent bartenders.

Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“

“Lovely food, charming interior. We had carpaccio, lobster bisque, crispy duck, and potato crusted salmon. The dishes were all prepared very well. The fresh bread was quite good, served with harissa, etc. We very much enjoyed the nut tart served with vanilla sauce and very nice hazelnut gelato. Can’t wait to go again.“

“NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“We visited this location for the second time today, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time we went to eat there. The Sherman Oaks location is one of the nicest P.F. Chang’s around, as we’ve been to quite a few in Southern California. Staff is always polite and professional, and I want to give a big “thank you” to our server, Aliyah. She was so friendly, sweet, accommodating, and is exceptionally good at her job, and it really showed! We’ve had some good and bad dinning experiences at other restaurants in the past, so it’s nice and refreshing to know that people like Aliyah truly care about the customer experience. It also reflects well on the management—that being, they spend the time and effort in training and employing great staff like her.

How helpful they are with all the questions and requests that my wife and I had. There was no request that was too big. The entire time we waited for our food I watched the gentleman at the front counter, engage with customer after customer with the same respect and helpfulness. The food is super fresh. The atmosphere is great and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t. Try the unique sodas from the fountain. They are amazing. Chinese food is my favorite, but I have never found one in this town or surrounding cities that could match this place on all points. “I love Kinza. It’s a cute but no pretension type of sushi spot! Their rolls come with 10 pieces (not 8) AND you can order half size rolls even for their specialty rolls which is INCREDIBLE. Very fresh, flavorful, lots of good combos, and service is excellent.
