“A really great little meal spot in downtown Placerville. I stopped by here on the way back from South Lake Tahoe and I’m so glad I did. I got the Italian Pasty (which was basically a calzone with flaky pie crust instead) and it was great. Lots of good pie choices and a nice if tiny dining area with cozy decor. Would stop by again!“

“i heard from a little bird that 4 real italian men were going to open up a pizza express in town. Pizza is italian right. So why eat pizza from someone like Norway like me i will make you some grub and alot of potatoes. Leave the pizza to the experts. Well Valentines we had friends over and i thought pizza would be fun and a big salad.....wow wow wow Formaggio pizza is not like any in town. ITS REAL EVERYTHING THE SAUCE IS TO DIE FOR. “We enjoyed our lunch today. Nice atmosphere and great service. If I had anything that I would say wasn’t my favorite it would be the beer cheese dip that came with our garlic bread( bread was great). I am Irish and I expected a nice creamy cheddar cheese with a beer influence. Unfortunately, it was so spicy that I couldn’t taste anything but the heat. Maybe they should offer a milder version along with the spicy. Kinda bummed because I wouldn’t order it again. Just an idea.“

“Wow!! The Bao is yum!!!! I also had Hot and Sour soup today that was amazing. A great selection of Tea too - sweetened and unsweetened! They were super nice and friendly! I need to bring back my family to try it! I am so excited about the good food!

“It truly is the very best pizza I have ever had. I’m 64 and have worked at 2 different pizza places, and have consumed many, many pizzas in my day! I recommend the Rubicon or if you’re cool with pineapple on pizza their “Hawaiian” pizza is a 12 out of 10. Seriously, the best pizza of my life.“

“This is one of the best pizza places, probably in El Dorado county. I’ve been to quite a few pizza places, but not only the pizza but the customer service. Being greeted with a smile every time you go in the fast service it’s clean exterior and interior. And it is absolutely positively the best darn pizza and I’ve ever had ! Mind you I have tried the all meat, combination n the vegetarian. And all of the pieces I’ve had and next one I’m gonna get the Stromboli but every pizza I’ve had has been the most delicious well prepared Amazing tasteful lots of condiments on it. It’s just the best!! Once you’ve tasted, you can’t stop eating it. Try it you’ll Love it

“What great, friendly staff, and a plentiful menu! Our orders were taken quickly, and very little wait for them to be delivered to our table. My husband ordered the Cameron Roll and the Geisha Roll and said they were fantastic. I love that they have quite a few vegetarian options for sushi rolls, and I ordered a veggie Inari Roll and a veggie Tempura Roll, which I loved. We were there for lunch, and we will be returning soon!“

“Food and service are good. The noise level is unacceptable. You can hardly hear anyone on the other side of our table. Have gone there 4 times, and it has always been too loud. There are no sound absorbing decorations anywhere. The old location was much better for noise attenuation.“

“Great decorations. Even the bathrooms look like a forest. When we arrived, we were all given a light-up wreath crown, which we were able to take home. There were 5 of us and we had the fondue dinner. Each course was more food than we could eat. Started with cheese fondue. Main course was pieces of filet mignon, chicken, meatballs and giant shrimp cooked in oil and finished with chocolate fondue. Delicious. Our waiter, Miles, was outstanding. Made sure we were well taken care of.“

“What a great little neighborhood Watering Hole. Their food and sandwiches are great and they have dozens of options. The staff is always polite professional and quick! And the atmosphere is great too! TVs, good music, and sometimes even live bands. I come here at least twice a week it's that good! My all-time favorite is the Skinny Dipper with double meat on a Dutch crunch roll!“
