“They have a nice selection of wines and the caves are fun to visit their Sutter Creek Tasting room is also nice.“
“One of the primary reasons we keep coming back to Amador for our annual visit is because of Rombauer. Their setting is very relaxing, their staff are all friendly and amazing and they have the best Chardonnay on the planet. I don't seek out any white wines but one, and it's the Rombauer Chard. This year we opted for the 2019 over the current release due to the extra years, palate profile and price point. Next year, that 2023 will be just about right and we'll be sure to take some home. I didn't plan on any other bottles but this year's Zin was on point. Can't say enough about this great winery, and when I'm pouring in our own tasting room in WA, I mention Rombauer often. If you don't drop in for a visit during your wine tasting tour of Amador, you're doing it wrong. :)“
“This place is a gem ?. Beautiful atmosphere and fantastic people working there. Pamela was so nice and friendly, so I would love to mention her name in my review. Unlike the Story vineyard, who can’t even bring a glass of water to your table, this place gives you a water as a first thing. Also this place offers a picnic area, where you may bring your own food and have a large variety of wines ?. Picnic tables are covered from the sun, so you’ll be safe. Great design work was done there as well. Highly recommend for visiting.“
“Definitely 5 stars ⭐️
Love the service and atmosphere here
David and George are amazing
Wine is imported from Georgia and has a unique taste
Mukuzani is my favorite one
Recommend it for all my friends ❤️“
“I recently visited Cappelli to wine taste and loved the concept of local wines with reusable bottles. Cristine guided our party through our tasting and was very knowledgeable about the wines. Her enthusiasm and exceptional service made it such a great experience, I know we will be back to taste soon!“
“It was great I was helped by the third generation son who is very knowledgeable about his products and what paired with what was very helpful actually probably a little too helpful I've got one wine now to taste with just about anything I'd want to eat which is okay. It's expanding my knowledge about good food and drink definitely worth the stop Shenandoah Vineyards part of the sabon family.“
“Greatest Halloween party ever“
“We were recommended this tasting room by a friend at TDO, which is closing. Tom the wine maker was in the tasting room. Him and his were very cordial. Nice tasting room and even a tent outside. We arrived 30 mins before they closed, but said it was no problem. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back in October and probably join their club.“
“If you like ports or speciality unique wines then you're in for a treat here. They have tons of speciality sparkling wine with unique flavors like raspberry, almond, strawberry, and pomegranate.Don't worry though, if you're more into red wines they've got those too!“
“We have been TKC club members about ten years. We have upgraded our membership more than once, and their club prices are so good we still order a LOT more wine than comes with our membership. I adore Amador wineries and TKC is the first one I go to.“
“Downtown Placerville tasting room is very convenient. Great service and they even had Monday Night Football on the tv“
“We had the most beautiful and epic wedding at this venue and would highly recommend! Jordan and her team of coordinators were very helpful and communicative during the whole planning process and pulled off all our decor and last minute items super well! All staff is very friendly and approachable. The environment is casual , but classy and the surroundings are unmatched for unbelievable photos! Our guests all said it was one, if not the best wedding they've attended. The lake house is an added bonus as well and we plan to return to stay in their super comfy beds!“
“Nice spot in Plymouth, they offer many quality wines including lesser known varietals like Graciano. The white port is amazing, it finishes like buttered popcorn. The property is newer and features a full kitchen, event space, beautiful vineyard views and an amphitheatre. A little busy but with good reason, it's a nice stop. Will definitely return after exploring the other wineries in Amador County.“
“Love sitting on this dog friendly patio gazing at the Sierra Nevada foothills listening to fun bands drinking outstanding wines. Life is good!!!“
“We went in for an afternoon tasting at Dry Diggings Distillery and absolutely loved it. This was only the second distillery we'd been to and it was honestly eons better than our first experience. Erica was the woman leading our tasting and she did a great job. She is super knowledgeable about all of their products and was able to answer all of our questions about the distilling industry in California. My partner and I both got the "Bar Cart" tasting - sampling a variety of their spirits.Honestly, when I go somewhere for a tasting I'm not generally much of a conversion person, but it was so natural to talk with Erica and I felt like she was really providing the information I wanted to hear. I loved how highly she talked of other distilleries in Northern California - it really felt like Dry Diggings was a community establishment that wanted to increase visibility of the distilling community as a whole, and she provided so many awesome recommendations of other places we could check out if we had a great time.Yes, of course the alcohol is more expensive than the stuff you'd buy on the bottom shelf of Total Wine, but reviews complaining about that feel out of touch. This is a small, local, craft distillery that is distilling alcohol that is fantastic and not like anything you'd get anywhere else! It's absolutely worth the price and they are very forthright about their tasting prices and the fact that they do not waive the tasting cost with bottle purchase on their website. I highly recommend going in for a tasting!“
“Google has our hours wrong!!! We are open on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm
Thursday and Friday 3pm to 9pm
We are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
I am trying very hard to fix this on google wit no luck so far..suggestions would be greatly appreciated!“
“It was a good experience, we arrived at Gold Hill Vineyard because of fate that made us get lost.
We did a wine tasting, the truth is I would have liked them to explain a little about each wine, differences and the correct way to taste the wine but that was not the case, they only put wine in the glass, which is the reason why I leave 4 stars.
Because I know that the service could be better if they took more time, but I completely understand that we had already arrived half an hour before closing.
The wines were quite good, perhaps they needed more variety of sweet wines.
The place was very nice, very romantic.
Would I go back?
Probably, I don't know.“

“We absolutely LOVE coming to Cielo. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, the wines are always delicious (you must try the sparkling peach) both red & white wines, and the grounds are a little slice of heaven! We love bringing our kids and our dog for family fun as well.“
