“Love this place! Can't believe I just discovered it. So cute, owner works so hard and the food is great. Burritos are massive and coffee is tasty and it's open super early. Nice little patio. Will absolutely be back, highly recommend as a better and more local option for a quick bite to eat.“
“As much as I love the Plaza Bakery, I love buying bread here instead mainly because they don't skimp on the filling here. I love these bread called "Elotes" which means corn in English. I think they are named that way do to the shape of the bread and the lines made on the bread look like kernels of corn. They have a cinnamon like taste and are topped with sugar. Inside they are filled with pineapple. So yummy! The bread here is ALWAYS so moist and soft. I have never tried their cakes, but would like to in the future. Price is pretty good too.“

“We were redirected to the 101 due to the shutdown of the PCH and stopped for lunch in Gonzales, a very unlikely place for tourists to err... So we ended up in La Plaza bakery for a lunch made of perfectly executed burritos, tacos and tortas, a very helpful staff, delicious bakeries as dessert, all for a very reasonable price, which is always a good suprise in the usually overpriced state of CA. Well done La Plaza and keep up the great work!“

“A friend bought me a carne asada burrito from here and my honest opinion was the salsa on it was way too spicy for me to be able to enjoy the burrito. Then I tried their breakfast burrito (with potatoes) i also tried some of the bread and omg. It was delicious . I now come every few days for some pan for the family and my go to place on my lunch breaks 😁“
