“Stopped here on the way to Carmel-by-the-sea and OMG!!! They had a mix of beaker goods but also breakfast burritos,tacos and tamales. And i tired the chicken tamales and i was in heaven. So so so good. You need to stop by here and I'll be back.“

“Great little bakery. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. I was impressed with many of the pastries, to be honest i wasn’t expecting much from a little place in Prunedale. The best things are the croissants, the concha was also delicious and soft.

I got 2 cookies and they are not my favorite. My constructive feedback is they are a bit on the dry side and have a strong taste of leavening agents. I’ll come back when I am visiting family for sure!“

My husband and I were referred to her, Tart and Tin, by our venue as a preferred vendor for our wedding this November 2021, and boy did she understand the assignment! She is incredibly kind, accommodating, and delivered far above and beyond our consultation and expectations. My wedding guests gobbled up everything so quickly and people are still talking about her cake design for us. Alexis was a dream and we cannot recommend her enough! :)“

“Delicious tamales and very affordable! The lady was very nice and accommodated my large order. We came from San Francisco to visit family nearby and they were hot and fresh when picked up. Would highly recommend to those looking for a spot for tamales in general. We even took some masa back home, everything was good quality.“

“I was able to special order a Lemon Meringue pie and it was the best! It's hard to find a local bakery that makes lemon meringue pies. The crust was flaky, the lemon curd filling was not too tart, and the meringue was perfection! Everyone really enjoyed it! “One of THE best bakeries in Salinas. Every cake we've ordered from here has gone abive and beyond our expectations. Our last cake we ordered was a moon cake in which we were expecting something pretty simple. Well the gal that runs the place did a frosting painting of a night sky with moon on it. Looked way better than what we were thinking about to begin with. (We were alsp pretty vague when we ordered and literally just said "moon cake") All I was expecting was a grey cake with some black circles, instead I get a Monalisa moon cake. Put far more effort than we ever expected. And the cake is incredible by the way. Frosting so soft its hard to even feel it. Best cakes and this is for sure our main bakery both for aready and going forward.“

That pan dulce, was amazing thank you for the service and the delicious delicate pan dulce I brought home. To bring better business if a homeless man is outside offer him to clean up the parking are around your establishment and to scrub your your concrete entry floor area near the front area to keep the business clean and so people can see the establishment is clean inside and out. Better business happens when both business are clean inside and out. I am from a Mexican heritage I believe in sweeping outside the store to sweep bad juju or brujaria or brujo or evil out from your stores. Idk if it a superstition but I do believe it true. Offer a homeless man who is unfortunate, the business is not just blessing a man or woman it also of evil to clean up evil.
