I love the green juice. Nice, sweet ladies always there. Neighborhood store that I will miss when I leave Salinas.

“Stunning Pastries That Look Like Art — Pizza Croissant Was the Star

If you’re looking for beautiful artisan pastries and creative croissants, this bakery is definitely worth visiting. The pastries look like edible art... the glazing, colors, and design are absolutely mesmerizing.
The service was excellent. One of the owners was there interacting with customers, which I really appreciated. It shows pride in the business and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Flavorwise👀.. some pastries were fantastic while others looked better than they tasted for me. Here’s my honest ranking of the ones I tried:

1️⃣ Strawberry Croissant – 8/10
Light, fresh, and nicely balanced.
2️⃣ Strawberry Cream Pastry – 8/10
Soft texture and pleasant sweetness.
3️⃣ Raspberry cube Croissant – 10/10
Beautiful and delicious. One of the standouts.
4️⃣ Chocolate Croissant – 4/10
Looked great, but the flavor felt a little bland
5️⃣ mini heart Strawberry crossants- 8/10 Beautiful and delicious mini treat
6️⃣ Strawberry croissant – 5/10
Decent, but it didn’t leave a strong impression compared to the others...
7️⃣pistacho Croissant – 4/10
Beautiful glaze, but the flavor didn’t stand out much.
For drinks, I tried the hibiscus coffee that was recommended. I may have misunderstood the drink because I expected coffee with hibiscus syrup. Instead, it tasted more like a lightly carbonated hibiscus soda mixed with coffee, and it came across a bit watered down for my taste. It might just be the style of the drink, but it wasn’t quite what I expected when ordering coffee.
Overall, I walked out spending over $80 on pastries and coffee, so I was hoping for a bit more flavor to match the incredible presentation.
That said, the creativity, atmosphere, and service were wonderful, and the pizza croissant alone is worth coming back for. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more pastries and exploring more of the coffee menu.“

“Alexis is an absolute wizard when it comes to concocting drool-worthy cakes and patisseries! My husband and I were referred to her, Tart and Tin, by our venue as a preferred vendor for our wedding this November 2021, and boy did she understand the assignment! She is incredibly kind, accommodating, and delivered far above and beyond our consultation and expectations. My wedding guests gobbled up everything so quickly and people are still talking about her cake design for us. Alexis was a dream and we cannot recommend her enough! :)“

“This is the best Trader Joe’s location ever! I always have the best experiences here. Today, my toddler had a tantrum while I was shopping and also had my baby with me. Without hesitation, two employees stepped in and helped with the kids and put groceries in my car/put carts back. The employees are always friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. I love it!“

Would highly recommend to those looking for a spot for tamales in general. We even took some masa back home, everything was good quality.“

I was a walk in customer,I went in Staff was friendly and right away welcomed me in.I asked them if they could make a cake with a pic. for Sat.this was a Frid.1 day before the party.So I was hoping they didn't say it was not enough notice of time however got the opposite they quickly said sure what kind would you like! “I was able to special order a Lemon Meringue pie and it was the best! It's hard to find a local bakery that makes lemon meringue pies. The crust was flaky, the lemon curd filling was not too tart, and the meringue was perfection! Everyone really enjoyed it! “One of THE best bakeries in Salinas. Every cake we've ordered from here has gone abive and beyond our expectations. Our last cake we ordered was a moon cake in which we were expecting something pretty simple. Well the gal that runs the place did a frosting painting of a night sky with moon on it. Looked way better than what we were thinking about to begin with. (We were alsp pretty vague when we ordered and literally just said "moon cake") All I was expecting was a grey cake with some black circles, instead I get a Monalisa moon cake. Put far more effort than we ever expected. And the cake is incredible by the way. Frosting so soft its hard to even feel it. Best cakes and this is for sure our main bakery both for aready and going forward.“

To bring better business if a homeless man is outside offer him to clean up the parking are around your establishment and to scrub your your concrete entry floor area near the front area to keep the business clean and so people can see the establishment is clean inside and out. Better business happens when both business are clean inside and out. I am from a Mexican heritage I believe in sweeping outside the store to sweep bad juju or brujaria or brujo or evil out from your stores. Idk if it a superstition but I do believe it true.
